  1. At the end of the Chicken Little story, it was Foxy Loxy that was well fed.
    Carbon Credits, anyone?

  2. I hope this is coming form a publication or that it is going to go into the media.
Funny, it was just a few hours ago in an AGW debate (over a few pints) that couple of my adversaries challenged me in explaining whom would benefit from this scam. I started on personal beneficiaries with Gore and Suzuki and then into the massive carbon trading market.
I wish I had had this cartoon

This is why i never have listened to Al Gore unless he travels by clipper ship and Conestoga
lives in a Tipi and eats soybeans and lentil soup..,I might..
    Note might,,,,
probably two years before the mast would do him some good..
though I don’t think he’d be a good “top man’ for some reason..

  10. Al Gore, off camera, at the Davos 2008 conference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1Do9vut6tc#t=1748s

” … “Exxon Mobil has funded 40 different front groups that have all been a part of a strategic persuasion campaign to, in their own words ‘reposition global warming as theory rather than fact.’… ”

That phrase, seen on pages 356-7 of Gore’s 2010 “Our Choice” book ( http://media.ourchoicethebook.com/site_media/images/spreads/large/ch16_3.jpg ), also appears in his 2006 “An Inconvenient Truth” movie, starting just before the 1 hour 13 minute point. Get to the bottom of exactly why he uses this out-of-context page from a memo set that was never actually implemented from an obscure small PR ad campaign, and it appears it isn’t the skeptic climate scientists who “manufacture doubt about AGW” (à la ‘expert shill scientists working for big tobacco) but was and is enviro-activist manufacturing doubt about skeptic climate scientists.

Expose this problem for all to see, and you reveal global warming hysteria as nothing more than a ponzi scheme based on constant infusions of false information about its science claims and character assassination of its critics that might stray into libel/slander territory.

    paul milligan,

What is the basis of comedy, satire, parody and mimicking?

It seems there is a small part of it that links us back to the irreverent, rebellious and free-linking days of our glorious teenage years (puerile). I think comedy is a valuable part of our wonderful human condition.

AlGore is an honorable man, but he doesn’t have the brains to understand this. So he can get rich with a clear conscience. I, on the other hand, understand some of the complexities, so that troublesome integrity thingy keeps me from cashing in, too. Darn.

If I search an online dictionary for words that have meanings close to your description of Al Gore, one of the words has a Ancient Greek root ‘ἰδιώτης’ which in Latin is ‘idiota’.

Apachewhokows is a rabid warmist who comes here and post mostly cryptic crap and then goes home to laugh at us. A month or so ago he made the mistake of linking his name to his warmist site and thereby let the cat out of the bag.

Weirdest site I ever looked BTW.

I did not bother to keep the link but if you want to you can find it by searching all the old WUWT posts from about November on back. He has only posted twice that I know of since then.

    Billy Liar,

It seems so. In some it seems they have had a quadruple humor bypass. But that is their humorless face to the public.

Surely among fellow CAGWers there is lots of humor. CAGWist humor among fellow CAGWers: like fondly entertaining the idea of executing skeptics, like chuckling about branding skeptics, like smiling at a video showing the blowing up of skeptical children in class (the red button pushing teacher), like recent scientific association’s leaders apparently gleeful avoidance of l’affaire Gleick, like the CG ‘team’ cheerfully blocking skeptic papers and ouster of journal editors, like a pseudo-skeptical blog’s inner circle giddy at the idea of skeptics as mentally ill, etc, etc. I am sure their inner CAGW circle’s humor abounds.

    Mr Green Genes,

In addition to ‘puerile’ as applicable to humor about Al Gore, the word sophomoric also applies to most of the funniest humor that is about him. He is a veritable lightening rod.

    Sophomoric:
