I almost miss the days when WUWT was in flat-out reality denial regarding the fact of global warming.
You know, this site used to regularly host articles that claimed it was actually cooling, not warming. That all and any warming was an artifact of badly-sited temperature stations (even as the air over the oceans warmed as steadily as that over the land).
These days it’s all about downplaying the impacts of the warming, adaptation and mitigation, etc. Or claiming that the warming is because of clouds or solar or magical heat created by the oceans, etc.
Rarely these days do you see the real, old-school, “It’s not happening!!“, style of argument, and it’s just not as much fun any more.
Beyond the Narrative and Following the Data with Vijay Jayaraj | Climate Debrief
.
CO2 Coalition
Vijay Jayaraj joins Angela Wheeler on Climate Debrief to examine the history of the modern environmental movement and the rise of today’s climate crisis narrative. Drawing on historical and environmental data, he challenges claims about worsening extreme weather, wildfires, droughts, and heat while highlighting improvements in human life expectancy, agriculture, and global greening.
Jayraj argues that CO₂ has benefited plant growth and that humanity has become increasingly capable of adapting to environmental challenges. His central message is simple: look beyond the narrative, examine the data, and ask what the evidence actually shows.
