They called me the “anti-Greta” so I was targeted

From CFACT

By Chris Martz

As a trained meteorologist with a passion for truth, I never imagined I’d become a target simply for speaking out.

After one of my global warming posts on X went viral, racking up more than 2.5 million views, I unintentionally became an online influencer. The New York Post dubbed me “the anti-Greta.” That’s when the attacks began in earnest.

Why do they fear me? I’m young, have a fresh voice, and am skilled at charts and data analysis. Turns out, I’m also pretty good at using humor to re-examine the facts that are not kind to those who view climate as their path to power.

Luckily, I’m not alone. I found a perfect fit with those fearless, data-driven truth-tellers at CFACT.

None of this vital, life-changing work happens without heroes like you. As we step into 2026 I’m personally pleading: Please make your tax-deductible, year-end donation to CFACT today. A gift of $25, $50, $100, whatever you can give, will multiply our impact exponentially.

As a CFACT science and policy analyst, I’ve been welcomed into a community of first-rate scholars. You don’t know how valuable it has been to have CFACT president Craig Rucker and the entire CFACT network rooting for me and providing sage counsel. CFACT platformed me to share my analysis on radio, television and even through testimony before Congress.

Will you dig deep right now and help me and everyone at CFACT fight on and win?

When I first started sharing hard science on social media, along with what it reveals about climate and energy policy, I faced vicious insults and organized campaigns to expel me from school. Believe it or not, I even received death threats.

NPR reporter Sam Zeff, a staunch warming alarmist, told me on X, “you wasted your money on your degree.”  How’s that for encouragement?

Yet amidst all that hostility, CFACT connected me to respected climate experts and professionals who privately reached out and said, “keep up the good fight.”

CFACT and I intend to fight on, but we cannot go it alone.  Believe me, I tried.  Please make your tax-deductible year-end gift today and fight beside us.

A truly disgusting entry by the infamous wikipedia. They write, “climate change denier[1” as description. Wiki never even pretended to be even-handed in political bias. The anonymous people who write this crud are vile.

Agreed, strongly. So much so that it begs the question of what can the rest of us do to help her. We need all the anti-Gretas we can find. “Anti-Greta” should be considered a badge of honour.

Wikipedia is (or recently was) on another one of its fundraising campaigns. Its treatment of climate skeptics and climate websites such as this one serve to remind me why they don’t deserve one red cent of my money.

Wiki was taken over by a climate fanatic who deleted hundred/thousands of “skeptic” posts and implemented a harsh censorship program that only allowed Climate Liars a voice.

I no longer use Wiki due to its lack of trustworthiness.

Sam Zeff spent his money on a degree in journalism. Quite how that qualifies him to understand and thoughtfully criticise science is unclear. It’s probably more the case that he hasn’t worked on not being stupid but has found a niche that pays his bills.

The media is full of bein pensents.

Both.

Maybe using the term “Legacy” media isn’t all that inappropriate. After all, “Legacy” is defined by the long-lasting impact of events and actions, that took place in the past. In this case it’s the dogmatic support of institutional propaganda. That’s not the image that current media members who want to be rebranded as “The legacy press or media” imagine for themselves.

The term “Buggy Whip” media is more appropriate. Buggy whips still work fine for the purpose they were invented for, but aren’t in every household for obvious reasons. It’s no different for the “Legacy” media these days. Nobody is Walter Cronkite or Drew Pearson anymore.

Cronkite? Give me a break. Around 1970 I visited friends in Toledo Ohio. We spent a morning fishing in Lake Erie off the mouth of the Maumee River. While preparing our catch of perch for dinner Cronkite announced to the nation that ‘Lake Erie is dead’. They all have their agenda, don’t believe any of them.

“When I first started sharing hard science on social media, along with what it reveals about climate and energy policy, I faced vicious insults and organized campaigns to expel me from school. Believe it or not, I even received death threats.”

When climate realists like Chris are treated like thought criminals and heretics, you know that his attackers don’t have the science (or scientific qualifications) to discredit him and what he says about the climate issue.

When attacks on skeptics happen, it becomes readily apparent that the alarmist narrative is simply a pathway to power, money and control in pursuit of the attackers’ desired ends. A mass media that is a mouthpiece for the attackers and demonstrates such behavior itself is pounding nails in the coffin of its own credibility.

I have heard it said that only a fool is sure of himself while the wise man is full of doubt. Nowhere does that deserve to be said and remembered more than in science.

It is surprising how totalitarian the UK has become recently.

I have a least 5 times your age, but, as an internationally reputed metrologist on thermodynamics (temperature) since 40 years (look at me on ScholarGPS), I fully support you as I am able to understand that their provided precision of temperature data cannot be metrologically valid and do not allow reliable forecast. They should use surface MAPS instead of “global parameters”, where their false information would become evident.

Climate Alarmists don’t have one shred of evidence to prove their case that CO2 can cause a catastrophe on Earth.

Climate Alarmists cannot tell us, after 50 years of trying, whether CO2 net warms the Earth’s atmosphere, or net cools the Earth’s atmosphere.

That is how little they know about the subject, yet claim they can see CO2’s effects in everything.

The Climate Alarmists are completely delusional when it comes to CO2. Their delusions are costing the rest of us Trillions of wasted dollars.

Greta claimed she could see (literally) CO2.

January 3, 2026 2:49 am

To Chris Martz: When you are right, you are right. Critics don’t matter, if they are wrong.

Here’s what I do when Climate Alarmist critics surface: I request that they provide some evidence for the claims they are making about CO2. I never hear from the critics again on this subject. That’s because they have been exposed for not having any evidence to back up their claims. They don’t have any. They can’t provide any. And they know it.

If you ask a Climate Alarmist for evidence, this is what they will throw at you, a bogus, bastardized Hockey Stick chart. It is ALL they have.

And btw, a bogus Hockey Stick global chart is not evidence of anything but fraud. The actual written temperature record looks completely different. The actual temperature record gives no indication that CO2 is anything other than a benign gas, essential for life on Earth. There is nothing scary in the written, historical temperature records. That’s why the Climate Alarmists created the bogus, bastadized Hockey Stick Global Chart in their computers: The better to scare us with.

The original, written temperature records from around the world show the Hockey Stick chart “hotter and hotter and hotter” temperture trend line is a fraud. It only exists in Climate Alarmist computers.

The original, written temperature records show it was just as warm in the recent past as it is today, independent of the amount of CO2 in the air. There’s more CO2 in the air today, but it is not any warmer than in the recent past with less CO2 in the air.

The Climate Alarmists have NO evidence to back up their claims.

Oh, you are missing out on that google money

The US is planning new offshore drilling. I’m eagerly awaiting CFACT articles on how this is harmful to whales. Because you want to save them, right? It’s not just about the pocketbooks of your donors.

Btw, climate change is also harmful to whales.

In case you are a bit confused:

“Climate change” is going to happen regardless of what humans do. Or do you deny that? There is no evidence that we’re seeing anything out of the ordinary.

Do you think it would be better for life on Earth if the cold trend during the LIA had continued? Do you think colder is better? I’m guessing you don’t live in a place that was covered with mile-thick ice sheets during the last glaciation.

One thing about trolls, they don’t need data. They have their hate to live on.
Non-of the oil companies are paying for any of this. On the other hand, alarmists would lose their government grants if they ever told the truth about climate.

Offshore oil drilling has been going on for over 50 years with no evidence of harm to whales.
There is a big difference between a rotating drill bit, and pile drivers driving massive beams into the ocean floor.

DeSmog is a FAR-LEFT disinformation group…. the go-to for far-left propaganda bias.

NRDC love to sprout there mission to “create lasting environmental change” by supporting wind turbines and solar panels that desecrate the environment.
They are also massively funded by the “climate change” trough.

“”The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) recently received a $100 million grant from the Bezos Earth Fund to accelerate climate action and support various environmental initiatives.””

CFACT is far more credible than any of the sources you use. !

Using disinformation junk sites like DeSmog is totally predictable for ignorant socialist non-entities.

The DeSmog Blog initial funding source was John Lefebvre, a convicted money launderer.

You are the one using the equivalent of low-end tv commercials.

Did I mention the $100 MILLION funding from Bezos, for your linked climate scammers.

DeSmog is heavily linked to and funded by SMF (Sustainable Markets Foundations)

Sustainable Markets Foundation (SMF) – InfluenceWatch

SMF has received funding from several environmentalist foundations including the MacArthur Foundation, Rockefeller Family Fund, Tides Foundation, and TomKat Charitable Trust.

ie slimy green money !!

The organization serves as a fiscal sponsor, providing grants as well as administrative support to other non-profits like 350.org Frack Action, DeSmog.

According to its 2023 tax returns, SMF reported a revenue of $39,210,071, expenses at $30,565,908, and total assets at $44,167,374.

Not bad for a “non-profit” 😉

The climate trough sure is DEEP and supports many, many piggies.

So, Exxon hasn’t contributed since 2007, and Koch donated once in 2015, and CFACT is somehow beholden to them? And the “Funding” site seems to indicate TOTAL donations to CFACT in over 30 years of around $13.5M, a number many/most of the large “environmental” “non profits” would expect in a month. This is junk “data”. More of it is still junk data.

LOL, whales have been around for millions of years..

They have existed in MUCH WARMER climates than the current semi-ice-age climate.

And no CFACT does not get anything remotely near the donations from billionaires as the climate scammers do. We are talking magnitudes less.

I tried to donate but couldn’t find any way to do so by check. Most organizations have a PO Box for such donations. Couldn’t find anything for CFACT other than online. I donate via a QCD from my IRA, i.e., a check, with no way to specify 90% of the information the online forms ask for. My name and address will be about it on the check.
