I have made some progress in forecasting solar activity. The attached shows my 3D image of the solar orbit to highlight the Z-axis motion, with northern excursion in the wide swings toward the September equinox aligning well with temperature peaks in 1998 and 2024. The 2016 temperature peak is linked to the solar activity at that time coinciding with El Nino.
The bottom chart shows solar activity from 1980 through 2040 using the square of the variation in orbital velocity from average with the drop in the current cycle and next cycle being predictions using predicted orbital data..
The fit was 87%. There is more tolerance on the timing than the number of sunspots. The prediction for high activity comes with the confidence of that 87% fit so reasonably robust.
The Gleissberg cycle chart you linked shows a peak in the early ’60s, the time when I was in high school. A friend had signed up for a program monitoring Auroras, and I joined him. We lived in far north Minnesota, and the program literature indicated that we could expect an Aurora roughly every 3 days. However, much this time would be daylight and/or cloudy, so we should expect to see them less often than that. It was late fall when we started, and we would look skyward whenever it was dark. We would lay out in the back yard in sleeping bags to keep warm and watch the displays. We would note the approximate location in the sky of the displays, and the colors and other features of each display. We would send in post cards of this information. It was great fun, and we did see a number of the “Northern Lights – far more than I have ever seen since then. I’m sorry I’ll likely miss the next peak, and its’s quite likely that there won’t be many in south Texas, even then.
Z-axis scaled by 10……perpendicular to Solar system Barycenter
And just what are those z-axis units ? Perpendicular to SS Barycenter…perpendicular from what to where? Links to source info would be good since it’s not likely your backyard telescope can show you the barycenter….
Great question! Even “perpendicular to a vector connecting the Sun’s center-of-mass to the instantaneous barycenter of the solar system” is ambiguous.
For reference, the maximum distance of the Sun’s center-of-mass from the solar system’s center-of-mass (i.e., “barycenter”) is approximately 2.2 times the radius of the Sun, which translates to about 1.5 million kilometers or 0.01 Astronomical Units (AU), varying with the positions of the planets, especially Jupiter. Since the Sun contains 99.86% of the solar system’s mass, it orbits a barycenter that is often located inside the Sun’s photosphere, but not at its center. Since the Sun (like other objects in space vacuum orbiting a center-of-mass) is in gravitational free-fall, it does not experience any net g-forces while orbiting the barycenter.
However, the Sun will experience tidal forces across its diameter due to its varying distances from the (essentially point masses) of the solar system planets. These are exceeding small since only 0.14% of the solar system total mass, far removed from the Sun, is creating these (combined) tides.
To put that in perspective, the largest single planetary tidal force on the Sun (from Jupiter) is roughly 325,000 times weaker than the Moon’s tidal force on Earth . . . that’s around 3e-13 g’s, which is more than two orders-of-magnitude below the sensitivity of today’s most precise gravimeters!
Yet some people believe there are long term climate impacts to be found if one only carefully examines the Sun’s position relative to the solar system barycenter . . . go figure.
If you load the chart into a new window and expand it, you will see the scale of the left hand axis in the lower chart is metres/second (m/s) squared. This is for the centre of the Sun rather than the perimeter but you will see it varies significantly.
The Sun does not orbit the barycentre at a constant radius. It undergoes reasonably severe accelerations and decelerations. The solar activity is linked to the velocity difference from average in a squared relationship. So it is most likely a pressure difference related to the changing velocity of the centre of the Sun.
No other orbiting body in the solar system experiences such an erratic orbit as the Sun with its near chaotic motion.
“The Sun does not orbit the barycentre at a constant radius. It undergoes reasonably severe accelerations and decelerations.”
Not so as regards “reasonably severe accelerations and decelerations”. The Earth and all the planets are in gravitational free-fall in various elliptical orbits, and not in orbits at a constant radius from the barycenter of the solar system. However, they do not experience any g-forces resulting solely from their orbit shape.
It is true that each planet’s elliptical orbit is very slightly perturbed by the gravitational attractions between it and other planets (as well as the by the Sun’s relatively minuscule offset from the barycenter) but these accelerations are so small as to be insignificant. For example, the gravitational acceleration that Jupiter exerts on Saturn at the time of their closest approach to each other is a mere 3.1e-8 g . . . not even close to a micro-g! Similarly, the gravitational acceleration that Jupiter exerts on the Sun, at the time of their closest approach (Jupiter perihelion) is only about 2.4e-8 g. There is nothing “reasonably severe” about such acceleration levels.
“No other orbiting body in the solar system experiences such an erratic orbit as the Sun with its near chaotic motion.”
That’s a matter of perspective and one’s definition of erratic. As I posted earlier, the maximum distance from the center-of-mass of the Sun to the solar system barycenter is only about 0.01 AU. Meanwhile, the differences between perihelion (basically SS barycenter) and aphelion for the planets and their orbital periods (T in Earth years):
— 0.16 AU for Mercury (T = 0.24 years)
— 0.01 AU for Venus (T = 0.62 years)
— 0.04 AU for Earth (T = 1.0 years)
— 0.29 AU for Mars (T = 1.88 years)
— 0.25 AU for Jupiter (T = 11.9 years)
— 0.94 AU for Saturn (T = 29.5 years)
— 1.82 AU for Uranus (T = 84.0 years)
— 0.6 AU for Neptune (T = 164.8 years)
One can see that all planets except for Venus have much greater distance variations in their orbits about the barycenter.
Furthermore, computer-derived plots of the chronological timing of the Sun doing loops around the barycenter
(see https://www.skymarvels.com/gallery/Vid%20-%20Solar%20System%20Barycenter.htm )
show that individual loops over the interval of 2005 to 2045 have taken or will take from about 9.5 years (mid-2025 to end-2035) to about 14.5 years (start-2014 to mid-2028) to complete, so these “orbits” are actually slower than those of Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars as well as covering far less total path length in all cases.
Simply put, the Sun loops around the barycenter (or vice versa, if you wish) along very smoothly varying paths than can be predicted well in advance and having less variation in absolute distances and over longer time periods than the solar system planets Mercury, Earth, and Mars.
Relative to the changing position of the solar system barycenter, the Sun DOES NOT exhibit erratic or chaotic motion, nor ANY significant short term accelerations or tidal forces from any solar system planets.
Finally, as if any more proof was necessary to dispel the hypothesis that the Sun’s movement about the solar system barycenter has any significant impact on solar activity, as reflected in the cycles of maxima and minima in solar sunspot numbers, there is this:
— the solar sunspot “cycles” have had intervals ranging from as short as 8 years to others as long as 14 years . . . it has NEVER been constant at 11 years,
— the orbital period for Jupiter (which exerts the largest gravitational force that results in the Sun not being at the barycenter) has been constant at 11.9 years for billions of years as a result of the law of conservation of angular momentum for this large planet.
Therefore, an applied constant frequency of gravitational perturbation on the Sun (from Jupiter at perihelion compared to at aphelion) cannot result in an irregular, although smoothly varying, movement of the Sun’s distance from the barycenter at different frequencies . . . that is, one “spiral loop” of the Sun around the barycenter took 10.25 years (2006 to 2016.25) whereas the following one will take 14.5 years (2014 to 2028.5).
There are good things happening for U.S. policy. The Department of Energy is promoting reliable energy sources again. The EPA has initiated actions to withdraw the “greenhouse gas” rules for power plants and to rescind the 2009 Endangerment Finding. Other agencies are taking positions against intermittent wind power, especially offshore. This is all good news.
What should skeptics of climate alarm do now? How about going back to basics to point out that there never was a good reason to think that incremental CO2 could ever drive “warming” or any trend of any climate variable? In other words, refute the core claim that the “climate” movement has relied on mistakenly all along.
The key to this realization is the concept of energy conversion within the general circulation. Please consider the content here at this Google drive link. It is the same material I have recently used in comments to the EPA. In short, the point is that the ERA5 hourly parameter “vertical integral of energy conversion” demonstrates that the minor increase in IR absorbing power for even the 2XCO2 case is vanishingly weak within the dynamic operation of the atmosphere.
I realize there are other good data-based arguments against climate alarm and the “net-zero” lunacy. Keep making them. But let’s also show what a fundamental error was made to ever attribute the “warming” to emissions of CO2 and other IR-active gases such as CH4 and N2O.
I sent a comment to EPA about the late John Day’s website:
“Still Waiting For Greenhouse” and pointed out that his temperature data from many weather stations showed that CO2 does not cause warming of air. I also mentioned that there is currently little CO2 in the air.
I also informed to EPA about this reach paper:
“The Saturation of the Infrared Absorption by Carbon Dioxide in the Atmosphere” by Diether Schildknecht.
He showed that saturation of IR light absorption by CO2 occurs when the concentration is at 300 ppmv which occurred in 1920. What this means is that increasing the concentration of CO2 above 300 ppmv will not result in an increase in air temperature. This also means that there is no need to reduce the emission of CO2 from the use of fossil fuels.
I have been checking the Federal Register for the announcement from the EPA rescinding the Endangerment Finding. Comments on this action closed on Sept 22.
Happer and van Wijngaarden have argued that CO2’s ability to absorb LWIR in Earth’s atmosphere has essentially asymptoted to a maximum at about 270–300 ppmv . . . not only that, they have provided the basic scientific theory and observational data on why this is so.
Well, neither would understand the basic science involved—moreover, would care to try to understand it—because (a) it conflicts with their confirmation bias, and (b) demi-gods such as them have the hubris to PROCLAIM how the world works.
A very good paper to have available in your next debate with a warmunist…in addition to vanW & Happer, and Harde, whose line by IR line and layer by atmospheric layer calcs are very solid, and are worst case open sky, full sunlight cases…Happer’s paper possibly ignoring water vapor increase with temp….easily accounted for by a Modtran run… https://arxiv.org/pdf/2004.00708v1
It’s very difficult for warmunists to argue accepted physics, Stephan-Boltzmann, and the transparency of the atmospheric window….cuz they learn their physics from journalism majors….
Once the attention of real “climate scientists” turned to actual atmospheric energy transport and away from the silly arithmetic average of thermometer readings, the insignificance of minuscule changes in non-condensing GHG became apparent.
David,
Because thermometer readings were about the main source of past global weather data to 150 years ago, thermometry has had a distorting effect through being “It’s about all that we have got.” Other concepts like cooling through circulation have been downplayed, as you note.
Here in Australia, official raw thermometer data have been systematically and officially altered by an adjustment scheme ACORN-SAT. It is subjective, errors abound and to hard scientists it has no valid place. Some Australian government policies like “net zero carbon by 2050” (whatever that means) are based on it. It is used to report Australian temperatures to those who calculate global temperatures. In one “hard science” view this is criminally illegal as is salting the assays from gold mines.
Colleagues and I have failed to ban ACORN-SAT. Any fresh ideas are welcomed.

Thanks for your reply, Geoff. I follow Tony Heller daily. He often posts excellent references to historical accounts of heat waves, storms, and floods, mostly from newspapers. I don’t know how he does it, but he finds and posts contemporaneous accounts of events that counter the narrative of “unprecedented” weather. Tony is most active these days on X, but he also maintains his own website https://realclimatescience.com
So anyway, that’s one way to add context to the record of thermometer readings that has become questionable.
All the best to you.
Dave
I agree that Tony Heller does a great job, but your link is to his Real Climate Science website which seems to have been frozen since on article on fires in Greece posted in August.
Thanks for the ref. 1938 was shortly after I was born. Nice to know there were “real scientists” back then.
Now, if only I could get you to take a rocket scientist’s view of atmospheric kinetic energy, we’d be in complete agreement. (Coriolis be damned!)

The Coming Storm
Starmer is on the ropes, with challenges to his, er, leadership and big problems on the electoral front: the five new sectarian “MPs for Gaza“, the Corbynistas’ new far-left party, and Reform UK. Starmer couldn’t rid himself of the troublesome priest Miliband and the economy is well and truly in the toilet.
Britain needs ‘wholesale change’, Andy Burnham says in challenge to Starmer days before Labour conference (starts today)
Nigel Farage has accused the Prime Minister of coming close to inciting violence after Sir Keir Starmer described Reform UK as “an enemy”.
Concern about political violence has soared following the murder of US conservative activist Charlie Kirk, and Mr Farage said the Labour leader’s remarks smacked of “desperation”. – Express
Desperation indeed.
“According to polling data for the Left-leaning More in Common think tank, the public’s concern for climate change and the environment has plunged over the last year. Just 13% of respondents put it in their top three “big issues”. Reform voters were the least likely to share the green perspective, with just 4% choosing it. – Daily Sceptic
It will be a right sack of ferrets in Liverpool this evening
As an aside, Starmer has thrown out a dead cat – a distraction policy. The BritCard – digital ID cards
Cabinet Tensions Over Starmer’s Panicked Digital ID Rollout – Guido Fawkes
Where to begin with this one. It’s a crude rehash of Tony Blair’s biometric id card obsession and they were said to be the answer to 9/11.
Now, apparently they’re the answer to the small boat invasion and illegal immigration. And tomorrow? The affirmative answer to the Chinese social credit system.
but the geographical distribution is revealing (click ‘Show on a map’), London has the lowest % of signatories, somewhat confirming the suspicion of London centric government. I am surprised any of them know how to get to Liverpool.
There’s also the (shock, surprise) revelation that Starmer may have dodged inheritance tax on a field he bought for his parents. To be fair, it does seem a bit of a stretch, putting an empty field into a trust.
I’m sure Mister Starmer kept all the receipts, and everything’s on the up-and-up. It’s not like he would put an inheritance tax burden on farmers that he himself wouldn’t shoulder, right? That would almost be like a two-tier system of… ah. Never mind then.
I would remind you, Harold, that there is no free speech in the UK. Ridiculing your masters is hate speech. Not to mention the carbon footprint of effigy-burning! Your social credit score is going negative.
I should think you are closer to this than I am, Harold. I have seen reports of 30 arrests per day for “offensive online messages” (under the Communications Act), totaling ~12,000 in 2023.
It seems that anyone can make a complaint saying that a post gave them anxiety. Mind you, people whose grandparents were born in the UK do not have practical standing to complain, as you’re all dodgy racists. Unless you’ve managed to establish your rainbow credentials of course.
Get real and get over it, please. Digital ID offers the only hope of eliminating voter fraud and improper access to government benefits of all kinds. It also might clean out a lot of the rot in credentialing systems and placement of unqualified people in important jobs.
Surely, Google, Amazon and countless other sytems aided by AI, already know more about us than name, rank and serial number.
If it actually was going to eliminate voter fraud, you could bet that the leftist, liberal progressives (three lies in three words) would be against it.
We already have National Insurance numbers which you have to have to get a job, and those lovely maroon booklets called PASSPORTS. If they can’t prevent illegal migrants getting jobs without those two things, why on earth should we have any confidence that some new Id number is going to be any different?
In honesty, I don’t have an issue with an ID card if it replaces the driving license and passport, but there is no way I am going to carry a so-called smart ID card that leaves my personal information open to theft. Nor am I going to have the proposed phone app that would allow other apps access to my personal information.
I know that I have asked this many times, but I still do not think that I have gotten a coherent answer.
Labour need not call a general election until 15 August 2029. Getting rid of Sir Stalin would potentially only dissipate discontent with Labour by substituting a Left-populist like Burnham. Even if he were so inclined, the king has no actual power to dissolve parliament. There is no prospect of two thirds of MPs calling for an election in a vote of no confidence. Given those poll numbers, no PM would call for an election.
So what is the relevance of voter preference nearly four years ahead of any prospect of an election?
My point precisely. You could go out of the Starmer frying pan into the Diane Abbott fire. Although that would assure an end to Labour’s run in 2029, there might be no country left by then.
So what is the relevance of voter preference nearly four years ahead of any prospect of an election?
I suppose, just to show that Labour does not have a mandate from the voting public. As if the YouGov petition for a new general election wasn’t enough! The polls show Starmer does not have the support of the electorate.
If I recall correctly, the reason Teresa May called an early election around Brexit time was to get a mandate from the electorate around the Brexit negotiations, which didn’t quite work out as she hoped. That was the correct thing to do.
Of course, Mister Starmer knows he lucked into parliament off the back of anti-Tory sentiment and is currently the least popular Prime Minister since.. ever? He knows he won’t get another shot at the top job, he knows that under his leadership Labour will spend the next decade at least looking like competitors to the Monster Raving Loony Party. First past the post? The only post they’ll get near is from Royal Mail.
He’s going to try to implement every sweaty communist fantasy he’s ever had before someone pulls the no-confidence card on him and some other Labour luvvie steps into the role. I’m just glad Corbyn’s not eligible.
The word I want to change is “discount”. While the government website also erroneously uses “discount”. Discount is defined as:
Collins English Dictionary:
“A discount is a reduction in the usual price of something, usually because the seller wants to encourage people to buy it.”
Cambridge English Dictionary:
“A reduction in the usual price of something, made by the seller.”
Naturally, the BBC has refused to change their headline to “grant” or “subsidy” on the basis that they are merely reporting what the government have said.
I’ve now reported the misleading headline to Ofcom, although I don’t have high hopes that Ofcom will actually tell the BBC to correct their headline.
The former director of BBC Television told LBC that ‘death, death to the IDF’ chants on stage at Glastonbury were a “clear incitement” to violence and that a corporation investigation into the controversy was an example of them ‘marking their own homework’.
the BBC’s complaints unit ruled that chants of ‘death to the IDF’ at Glastonbury did not breach editorial guidelines preventing the broadcaster from airing material that could incite violence. – LBC
The BBC has no standards other than critical theory says….
When anyone criticised my work I always said “I have my standards and will not raise them for anyone”. A very popular ethos in the media and political field.
The discount is, in essence, a return of excessive tax to the tax payer.
……
It is beyond my comprehension why any government gets involved in dictating car ownership and use to motorists. Governments are there to help citizens do certain things that are best done collectively, not individually. Car ownership can give quite strong pleasure to many individual voters who rightfully object to being told what to drive.
(I own a 27 y o Aussie GM car, a slightly stretched limo for my 6 ft 4 in body with long legs. This car has a responsive 3.8 litre supercharged V6 of about 250 hp that over the last decade gave 13.8 litres per hundred kilometres or 17 miles per gallon. It sings tunes better than the common 5 litre V8 option (308 cubic inch). And, bugger the greenhouse gas fantasies and sad bureaucrats, this is a lovely fun car to drive and is part of my satisfaction of Life.). Geoff S, petrol head mode.
XE Ford with stiff suspension and straight 3.8L engine built by a stock-car racing champion. Damn that thing had some “go”.
VY Commodore with 5L V8… ex police car.
The V8’s computer died, so now I have a Mitsubishi 380 V6. A bit low to the ground, but it means my dog, who lacks “jumping” traits, can get in quite easily. 🙂
I’m getting on a bit, so not quite as much of a petrol head as I used to be. 😉
And as you say.. couldn’t give a stuff about CO2 emissions, atmosphere and plants need it. 🙂
“Governments are there to help citizens do certain things that are best done collectively, not individually.”
Quite right. However, there aren’t many Governments around that would agree with you. And regrettably, many in the electorate want the Government to tell them what to do, because thinking for themselves is too hard.
Yes, there’s no reason for the United States to attend this meeting. Doing so just lends legitimacy to this con job.
From the link: Hillary Clinton calls President Trump’s climate remarks “Total Disinformation”.
As if she would know. Hillary could not prove her unsubstantiated assertion if her life depended on doing so. She is the one full of total disinformation.
When will Hillary be indicted for the “Russia/Trump collusion” con job she paid to have perpetrated on the American public? Hillary tried, with the help of the Obama administration, to undermine the Democratic process in order to keep Democrats in power in perpetuity. The aim was a One-Party system with the Democrats in charge.
Hillary is a traitor to her country. She should go to jail for her crimes, along with Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and most of the Obama Cabinet, who were all in on this attack on the U.S. Constitution. Traitors all.
And these slime are still trying to undermine the U.S. with their lies. Despicable people! Very Dangerous people!
I’m sure a delegation of Democrats will attend the conference in Brazil. No doubt, many of them are anxious to pick up the shitty end of the stick. They will return to preach how evil the Trump administration is for not fighting climate change. Democrats have done two things with the climate change, one they’ve laundered billions of dollars to their friends and selves and two they’ve used it to oppress any opposition to their plans. Yes, they are Traitors 100%.
Somebody’s a Killery fan? The witch will never, ever be arrested, charged, much less convicted. The evil is strong in that one…prob. too strong for mere mortals to stop.
We’re back to forever wars, we’re never going to know who was using Epstein’s “services” and the swamp is NOT really being drained. We’ll probably be funding illegal immigrant healthcare and npr (national propaganda radio) next, since the RINOs always fold in a government shutdown.
As long as Blondi is AG, the Uniparty is safe and sound. Trump is obviously compromised and unable to follow through on his promises. The Antifa crackdown, if it were not kabuki theater, would be welcome, but obviously it’s a distraction knowing that we’ll have 70 Obama judges gumming up the works within days.
I don’t care who is in charge. Release the files. Why would anyone now not want to see who the pedos are who sexually assaulted and raped all those young girls? You want it hidden do you? Why would you want that?
That “Trump seethes” in the headline is a con job itself. It’s not “seething” at all. It’s just applying common sense and paying attention to what matters most.
I’ve been working on collecting the best scientific arguments that I can find and compiling them into Videos. This is the most recent one that I think captures many of the key points in a very concise manner. Any feedback would be appreciated. https://app.screencast.com/JocbqECAHo84c
When you see the evidence, you have to ask yourself how did the existing science pass Peer Review without addressing these issues?
Thank you and kudos for doing this work. You asked for feedback, so here’s one of my takes on it – the warming of the oceans by tectonic activity was not supported by any data, or any discussion of how the data shows this. I know there’s data showing that volcanic activity in some places could be heating the oceans (e.g. Antarctica). One person’s statement of fact requires presentation of the actual facts or, otherwise, it will be disregarded as voice-in-the-head conclusions.
The ocean floor heat sources are curious to me as well. Mankind has mapped something less than 10% of the ocean floor topography. How can any reasonable estimate be made with the expected amount of heat energy being added to the ocean each year? Is this heat energy negligible?
Essentially, all of the heat energy released at the ocean floor over all of time has been returned to space via the atmosphere.
I agree on that part, and why I include the other theory that visible radiation is warming the oceans. The key is 15 micron LWIR won’t penetrate or warm the oceans, visible radiation does. There is plenty of evidence the cloud cover and pollution over the oceans has been reduced. Thanks for the Feedback.
The visible light will be absorbed and the water will heat up a little bit.

Food for thought:
The energy density of radiation in Earth’s atmosphere is many orders of magnitude smaller than the translational, rotational and vibrational energy densities of the molecules. Radiation has relatively little heat capacity. It is ludicrous to hear about “heat trapped” as photons. Molecules account for almost all of atmospheric heat.
Most of the heat from earth’s surface is removed by conduction and convection in the atmosphere. About 50% of incoming sunlight is IR light. The warm of sunlight is due to near IR light.
Over the oceans most of the heat is removed by evaporation.
The heat has to radiate into space at some point, what convection does is to bring the heat to the upper atmosphere where there is less impediment to radiating to space. According to van Wijngaarden and Happer, the troposphere is effectively opaque to IR wavelengths that correspond to H2O and CO2 resonances.
The most effective convection is with water where the phase change from liquid to vapor at the surface requires a lot of the thermal energy, which then is released at higher altitudes when the water vapor condenses to liquid or solid. The fact that water vapor is lighter than air also further drives convection.
Haven’t heard Reform or the Tories shouting out loud that even if Labour introduces digital ID their first course of action would be scrapping it for good (in case they would win the next election).
So Mr Farage please speak out loud and clearly now, don’t have any faith in that weasle dreadlock lady on the Tory side.
This video was filmed back in 2009. It is extremely prophetic. Now that we can look back in time and see how things transpired, it is pretty frightening. https://app.screencast.com/jNP820ZX81GGZ
David,
You have to check out this new website on weather and climate data acquisition and display that I just discovered. The URL for the home website is: https://extremeweatherwatch.com. There is displayed in highlight the US states and many counties of the world. Click on a highlight get the climate data.
A secondary website for temperature data is: https://www.extremeweatherwatch.com/cities/adelaide/average-temperature-by-year. To access this website you have to enter a city name after …/cities/ or a 404 error is displayed. The Tmax and Tmax data is displayed in a table. At the top of page is the “Select City” box. If you enter a city name in the box, there is displayed below box the city and other cities starting with the same starting letters if the data in NOAA’s data base. Click on the city name to get the data.
I chose Adelaide since it has temperature record starting in1887. You can also get data from other sites such as National Parks such as Death Valley.
Another secondary website for weather data is: https://www.extremeweatherwatch.com/cities/adelaide/weather. The temperature and climate data is displayed in a different format. At the bottom of page are links to other areas of the website.
This website is ideal for people who limited computer skills like me who want data for checking on global warming and UHI effects.
You should consider publishing a review of this website at the CFACT
website.
Thank you for the up vote. The up votes just make my day.
You should definitely go to the late John L. Daly’s website: “Still Waiting for Greenhouse” available at: http://www.john-daly.com.
From the home page, page down to the end and click on “Station Temperature Data”. On the “Word Map”, click on “NA”, then page down to “USA-Pacific”. Finally, scroll down and click on “Death Valley”.
Shown in the chart (See below) are plots of average seasonal and annual temperatures from 1922 to 2001.
In 1922, the concentration of CO2 in dry air was 303 ppmv
(0.59 g CO2/cu. m.) and by 2001, it had increased to 371 ppmv (0.73 g CO2/cu.m.), but there was no corresponding increase in air temperature at this remote desert.
A simple explanation for no increase in air temperature at this arid desert is that there is too little CO2 in the air to absorb out-going long wavelength IR emanating from the earth’s hot surface to cause any heating of the surface air.
An additional reason for no increase in air temperature at this arid desert is the that at 303 ppmv the absorption band of CO2 at 667 wavenumbers (15 microns) is saturated. This saturation occurs at 300 ppmv for CO2 and was the CO2 concentration in1920. What this means is that an increase in the concentration greater than 300 ppmv will not result in an increase in air temperature. More importantly, it means that we do not have to worry about the emission of CO2 from the use of fossil fuels.
Unfortunately, the claims by the IPCC that CO2 causes harmful global warming and climate change has had a disastrous effect on many economies such as those of the UK, Germany, Australia, CA and NY, for example.
After EPA Administer Lee Zeldin rescinds the 2009 CO2 Endangerment Finding, he put an end to the greatest scientific fraud since the Piltdown Man.

1 Are we now being bombarded with YouTube style videos generated by AI that seem like breaking news but are fiction? Example 1 yesterday was fiction with UK PM Starmer sent out of Parliament by Speaker for challenging the monarchy. Example 2 was arrest of President Obama over Russian influence. Example 3 was Adam Schiff in tears after attack in the House by 2 Republican women members.
Are there good ways to recognise and exit such misuse of AI?
2 Is there a sudden discovery that many Internet services such as TV streaming are quite hard to exit from small monthly payment agreements started with your credit card number? In Australia I have had problems stopping payments to Britbox streaming, ChatGPT evaluation, a Fairfax media “subscription” paid to read an online article, that turned into monthly $$$.Can banks refuse to stop payments when I ask?
3 Has there been a society-wide loss of desirable matters like common sense, honesty, not cheating, truth, avoidance of illegality, politeness, etc. If so, has a cause been identified?
Geoff S
The cause, Geoff, is secular nihilism and nearly two centuries of socialist ideology. The moral absolutes derive from Christianity, aka ‘the opiate of the masses’, which has nearly been extinguished in most of the West.
Most of today’s youth were raised by atheists whose agnostic parents were raised by lukewarm believers. We now live in a world where expressing Christian faith is a hate speech offence.
If it feels good do it, extends to if you can get away with stealing to fund your feel-good imperative, why not? There is no objective right or wrong. The one who dies with most toys wins.
WIND, SOLAR, TRADE AND SANCTIONS https://www.windtaskforce.org/profiles/blogs/wind-solar-trade-and-sanctions
By Willem Post
.
The Biden-autopen cabal had taken money from the US Transportation department in 2024, to build these windmill storage/assembly ports, as an additional subsidy to offshore wind.
.
Buttegeek agreed to that. As a reward, Harris was going to consider him as VP, but because of his s.x inclinations, she thought it was too risky, so she settled on Walz, who turned out to be a total zero. Harris, a greenhorn border czarina, knows how to pick them.
.
Regarding offshore wind, most of the replacement spare parts for windmills are made in Europe, which will sell them at very high prices to mostly foreign Owners of US windmill systems.
.
This will create highly-skilled jobs and big profits in Europe, on which taxes are paid to European governments.
But because of high O&M costs, the Owners of the windmills show very little profit in the US, and pay very little taxes on those profits to the US government.
.
This is called transfer pricing by economists, aka colonial exploitation, at which Europeans are experts, already for at least 500 years.
.
This exploitation will increase the cost of electricity in the US, as the years go by, making US domestic and exported goods and services less competitive in world markets versus Europe.
A huge burden on our economy, imposed on the US by mercantilist, colonialist Europe.
.
Europe has insulated its domestic markets with all sorts of rules and regulations, which make it virtually impossible to import anything into Europe, without “offsets”, meaning limited quantities are allowed (to minimize market disturbances), if the other country agrees to this and that.
.
Trumps’s tariffs bypass all these “trading partner” shenanigans. He tells them, you want to do business in the US, you must pay this tariff and do this and that.
The US collects about $40 billion in tariffs each month, without additional price increases and without additional inflation, confounding professional economists and pundits.
.
Regarding windmills, what if Europeans slow-walk, or refuse to deliver spare parts, to coerce the US, as due to sanctions, German Siemens did with its gas compressors and rail cars in Russia a few years ago?
.
The sanctions merely forced Russia to use its many millions of STEM professionals to design/build/test/operate/maintain any parts for any systems. Plus, Russia has an abundance of low-cost energy and minerals for its use. Self-sufficiency = Sovereignty.
.
The Chinese and Indians have millions of their STEM people at all levels in US electronics and communications and computer companies, courtesy of decades of H-1B Visa exploitation, which discourages legal Americans from becoming STEM professionals.
.
It takes at least 20 years to educate and train STEM professionals.
The US should immediately provide STEM education at no cost to legal American students. https://willempost.substack.com/p/h-1b-visa-loophole-ending-tech-jo…
HIGH COST/kWh OF W/S SYSTEMS FOISTED ONTO A BRAINWASHED PUBLIC https://www.windtaskforce.org/profiles/blogs/high-cost-kwh-of-w-s-systems-foisted-onto-a-brainwashed-public-1
By Willem Post
.
People are brainwashed to love wind and solar. They do not know by how much they screw themselves by voting for the woke folks who push them onto everyone. Their ignorance is exploited by the woke folks
.
If owned/controlled by European governments and companies, would be a serious disadvantage for the US regarding environmental impact, national security, economic competitiveness, and sovereignty
.
Western countries cajoling Third World countries into Wind/Solar, and loaning them high-interest money to do so, will forever re-establish a colonial-style bondage on those recently free countries.
What is generally not known, the more weather-dependent W/S systems, the less efficient the traditional generators, as they inefficiently (more CO2/kWh) counteract the increasingly larger ups and downs of W/S output. See URL https://www.windtaskforce.org/profiles/blogs/fuel-and-co2-reductions-due-to-wind-energy-less-than-claimed
.
W/S systems add great cost to the overall delivery of electricity to users; the more W/S systems, the higher the cost/kWh, as proven by the UK and Germany, with the highest electricity rates in Europe, and near-zero, real-growth GDP.
. At about 30% W/S, the entire system hits an increasingly thicker concrete wall, operationally and cost wise.
The UK and Germany are hitting the wall, more and more hours each day.
The cost of electricity delivered to users increased with each additional W/S/B system
. Nuclear, gas, coal and reservoir hydro plants are the only rational way forward.
Ignore CO2, because greater CO2 ppm in atmosphere is essential for: 1) increased green flora to increase fauna all over the world, and 2) increased crop yields to better feed 8 billion people.
.
Net-zero by 2050 to-reduce CO2 is a super-expensive suicide pact, to increase command/control by governments, and enable the moneyed elites to get richer, at the expense of all others, by using the foghorn of the government-subsidized/controlled Corporate Media to spread scare-mongering slogans and brainwash people. . Subsidies shift costs from project Owners to ratepayers, taxpayers, government debt:
1) Federal and state tax credits, up to 50% (Community tax credit 10%; Federal tax credit of 30%; State tax credit; other incentives up to 10%);
2) 5-y Accelerated Depreciation to write off of the entire project;
3) Loan interest deduction . Utilities forced to pay:
At least 15 c/kWh, wholesale, after 50% subsidies, for electricity from fixed offshore wind systems
At least 18 c/kWh, wholesale, after 50% subsidies, for electricity from floating offshore wind
At least 12 c/kWh, wholesale, after 50% subsidies, for electricity from larger solar systems . Excluded costs, at a future 30% W/S annual penetration on the grid, based on UK and German experience:
– Onshore grid expansion/reinforcement to connect far-flung W/S systems, about 2 c/kWh
– A fleet of traditional power plants to quickly counteract W/S variable output, on a less than minute-by-minute basis, 24/7/365, which means more Btu/kWh, more CO2/kWh, more cost of about 2 c/kWh
– A fleet of traditional power plants to provide electricity during 1) low-wind periods, 2) high-wind periods, when rotors are locked in place, and 3) low solar periods during mornings, evenings, at night, snow/ice on panels, which means more Btu/kWh, more CO2/kWh, more cost of about 2 c/kWh
– Pay W/S system Owners for electricity they could have produced, if not curtailed, about 1 c/kWh
– Importing electricity at high prices, when W/S output is low, 1 c/kWh
– Exporting electricity at low prices, when W/S output is high, 1 c/kWh
– Disassembly on land and at sea, reprocessing and storing at hazardous waste sites, about 2 c/kWh Total ADDER 2 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 11 c/kWh Some of these values exponentially increase as more W/S systems are added to the grid . An A-to-Z picture to show the extent of ratepayer/taxpayer screwing
Offshore wind full cost of electricity FCOE = 30 c/kWh + 11 c/kWh = 41 c/kWh, no subsidies
Offshore wind full cost of electricity FCOE = 15 c/kWh + 11 c/kWh = 26 c/kWh, 50% subsidies
.
The economic/financial insanity and environmental damage is off the charts.
No wonder Europe’s near-zero, real-growth GDP is in de-growth mode.
That economy has been tied into knots by inane people.
.
Remove your subsidy dollars using your vote, none of these projects would be built, your electric bills would be lower.
Ban Corrupt Mail-in Ballots and corruptible Voting Machines; No Valid ID, No Vote; Paper ballots and hand counting only.
The reason young people are shunning STEM is that they have learned that the path to wealth is in the business, banking, investing and finance careers.
STEM at management levels requires A-to-Z thinking about aspects of problems, which is hard for most people, because they were not brought up that way, nor did they learn that in most classes in school.
I was fortunate to have a STEM father, who practiced A-to-Z thinking.

Despite the hype, there is no real evidence that CO2 has any effect on our global climate system. There is plenty of scientific rational to conclude that the climate sensivity of CO2 is effectively zero. The AGW hypotheesis has been falsified by science. Mankind does not even know what the optimal global climate actually is let alone how to achieve it. World wide trillions of dollars have been spent tyring to fight climate change yet no one is saying that ther ehas been any improvement in our global climate. Spending money trying to fight climate change is just a big waste of funds.
There is no such thing as “climate change” because most of the climate is water, ice, snow, rocks and sand and these large masses can’t be altered by an activities of humans.
CO2 IS AN ABSOLUTELY VITAL FOR GROWING FLORA AND FAUNA; NET ZERO IS A SUICIDE PACT https://www.windtaskforce.org/profiles/blogs/co2-is-an-absolutely-vital-gas-ingredient-for-growing-flora-and
.
The IPCC, etc., has dubbed CO2 as having magical global warming power, based on its own “science”
The IPCC, etc., claims, CO2 acts as Climate Control Knob, that eventually will cause runaway Climate Change, if we continue using fossil fuels.
The IPCC, etc., denies the Little Ice Age, uses fraudulent computer temperature projections.
.
Governments proclaimed: Go Wind and Solar, Go ENERGIEWENDE, go Net zero by 2050, etc., and provided oodles of subsidies, and rules and regulations, and mandates, and prohibitions to make it happen.
.
Net-zero by 2050 to-reduce CO2 is a super-expensive suicide pact, to:
1) increase command/control by governments, and
2) enable the moneyed elites to become more powerful and richer, at the expense of all others, by using the foghorn of the government-subsidized/controlled Corporate Media to spread scare-mongering slogans and brainwash people, already for at least 40 years; extremely biased CNN, MSNBC, NPR, PBS, NBC ABC, CBS come to mind.
.
CO2, just 0.042% in the atmosphere, is a weak absorber of a small fraction of the absorbable, low-energy IR photons.
CO2 has near-zero influence on world surface temperatures.
CO2 is a life-giving molecule. Greater CO2 ppm in atmosphere is an absolutely essential ingredient for:
1) increased green flora, which increases fauna all over the world, and
2) increased crop yields to better feed 8 billion people.
. At About 30% Annual W/S Electricity on the Grid, Various Costs Increase Exponentially
The W/S systems uglify the countryside, kill birds and bats, whales and dolphins, fisheries, tourism, view-sheds, etc.
The weather-dependent, variable/intermittent W/S output, often too-little and often too-much, creates grid-disturbing difficulties that become increasingly more challenging and more costly (c/kWh) to counteract, as proven by the UK and California for the past 5 years, and Germany for the past 10 years, and recently in Spain/Portugal.
.
All have “achieved” near-zero, real- growth GDPs, the highest electricity prices (c/kWh) in the EU, and stagnant real wages for almost all people, while further enriching the moneyed elites who live in the poshest places.

I signed up for email notifications, not realizing I’d get an email for each story posted. Now I’m getting TWO emails for each story posted, and I’ve not been able to stop them. When I hit the “unsubscribe” link, it brings up WordPress and a notification “Subscription not found.” Or if I log onto WordPress and look for WattsUpWithThat, it shows me not subscribed to it and asks if I’d like to subscribe.
I’ve been signed up for email notifications for many years, and get one per post. That broke with the recent changes after everything was reset. I finally got the subscription back and I’m getting the same thing. Some remaining glitch.
Tallbloke had an interesting article on the Gleissberg cycle
Gleissberg cycle – has a minimum now been passed?
Climate refugee?
In Minnesota, more likely political refugee.
The units for X and Y are AU. The Z-axis is AU/10. I am using the ICRS.

Thank you.
In short, the point is that the ERA5 hourly parameter “vertical integral of energy conversion” demonstrates that the minor increase in IR absorbing power for even the 2XCO2 case is vanishingly weak within the dynamic operation of the atmosphere.
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1PDJP3F3rteoP99lR53YKp2fzuaza7Niz?usp=sharing
I realize there are other good data-based arguments against climate alarm and the “net-zero” lunacy. Keep making them. But let’s also show what a fundamental error was made to ever attribute the “warming” to emissions of CO2 and other IR-active gases such as CH4 and N2O.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
URL: https://arxiv.org/pdf/2004.00708v1
URL: https://arxiv.org/labs/2004.00708
He showed that saturation of IR light absorption by CO2 occurs when the concentration is at 300 ppmv which occurred in 1920. What this means is that increasing the concentration of CO2 above 300 ppmv will not result in an increase in air temperature. This also means that there is no need to reduce the emission of CO2 from the use of fossil fuels.
I have been checking the Federal Register for the announcement from the EPA rescinding the Endangerment Finding. Comments on this action closed on Sept 22.
I thought Angstrom’s assistant showed the same saturation at 300ppm, qiute some time ago.
Happer and van Wijngaarden have argued that CO2’s ability to absorb LWIR in Earth’s atmosphere has essentially asymptoted to a maximum at about 270–300 ppmv . . . not only that, they have provided the basic scientific theory and observational data on why this is so.
How do we inform NY Gov. Kathy H. and CA. Gov. Gavin N. about the CO2 saturation effect before they wreck the economies of their states?
Well, neither would understand the basic science involved—moreover, would care to try to understand it—because (a) it conflicts with their confirmation bias, and (b) demi-gods such as them have the hubris to PROCLAIM how the world works.
Eggert used Leckners”s measured data to show basically the same thing.
Close to, but not exactly, logarithmic.
Levels of around 280ppm
If you click on Fig. 2, it will expand and become clear. Click on the “X” in the circle to return to comment text.
A very good paper to have available in your next debate with a warmunist…in addition to vanW & Happer, and Harde, whose line by IR line and layer by atmospheric layer calcs are very solid, and are worst case open sky, full sunlight cases…Happer’s paper possibly ignoring water vapor increase with temp….easily accounted for by a Modtran run…
https://arxiv.org/pdf/2004.00708v1
It’s very difficult for warmunists to argue accepted physics, Stephan-Boltzmann, and the transparency of the atmospheric window….cuz they learn their physics from journalism majors….
Not possible for the warmunits to understand the atmospheric physics, because they have brains that are about the size of that of a gnat.
Harold,
Your comments, like mine, are more valuable when they are about science, not insults.

I’ll mind my manners from now on. Most young people these days are scientific and mechanical zeros. Their brains are now those smart phone gadgets.
Smart phones have no ability to learn by themselves.
Many young people are not that much different from that.
Once the attention of real “climate scientists” turned to actual atmospheric energy transport and away from the silly arithmetic average of thermometer readings, the insignificance of minuscule changes in non-condensing GHG became apparent.
I note that Simpson and Brunt, in 1938, knew how to respond to Callendar’s attribution of reported warming to emissions of CO2. It’s about energy conversion within the general circulation. More here.

David,
Because thermometer readings were about the main source of past global weather data to 150 years ago, thermometry has had a distorting effect through being “It’s about all that we have got.” Other concepts like cooling through circulation have been downplayed, as you note.

True. Tony is much more active on X currently, posting a lot about issues other than climate.

This one just keeps going up.
The petition against digital ID is 2 million plus:
https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/730194
but the geographical distribution is revealing (click ‘Show on a map’), London has the lowest % of signatories, somewhat confirming the suspicion of London centric government. I am surprised any of them know how to get to Liverpool.
Mostly erstwhile dependable safe-seat “Labour constituencies”
One reason I find the monicker given to Andy Burnham, the King of the North, somewhat hilarious, and in denial.

Lawyers know how to bend the rules to breaking point.
Lawyers *write* the rules. If they were too clear to be bent, they’d never pass.
Nov 5 is coming soon. Start gathering torch material and pitchforks.
Too right.
The night time celebrations will probably be very huge.
Many Mad Ed effigies will be put to the torch!
We should start up a shop making effigies of Starmer, Mad Ed, et al. We would make an overnight fortune.
I would remind you, Harold, that there is no free speech in the UK. Ridiculing your masters is hate speech. Not to mention the carbon footprint of effigy-burning! Your social credit score is going negative.
Really, no free speech. Who are the Speech Police? Are they monitoring cell phone and social media like X messaging?
I should think you are closer to this than I am, Harold. I have seen reports of 30 arrests per day for “offensive online messages” (under the Communications Act), totaling ~12,000 in 2023.
It seems that anyone can make a complaint saying that a post gave them anxiety. Mind you, people whose grandparents were born in the UK do not have practical standing to complain, as you’re all dodgy racists. Unless you’ve managed to establish your rainbow credentials of course.
Don’t you think Guy Fawkes was just a bit confused and deserved a second chance? He didn’t even blow anything up after all.
Over here we give 38 chances if not more.

Only Labour has ever wanted them

Get real and get over it, please. Digital ID offers the only hope of eliminating voter fraud and improper access to government benefits of all kinds. It also might clean out a lot of the rot in credentialing systems and placement of unqualified people in important jobs.
Surely, Google, Amazon and countless other sytems aided by AI, already know more about us than name, rank and serial number.
And you are?
Either insane – trusting the UK government in the first place, or just an authoritarian
Personal details of UK special forces and spies were included in Afghan data breach – BBC
That is but one example.
If it actually was going to eliminate voter fraud, you could bet that the leftist, liberal progressives (three lies in three words) would be against it.
Liberal, with an uppercase L, was defined a long time ago, in England. How has it devolved to liberal, with the lower case l?
We already have National Insurance numbers which you have to have to get a job, and those lovely maroon booklets called PASSPORTS. If they can’t prevent illegal migrants getting jobs without those two things, why on earth should we have any confidence that some new Id number is going to be any different?
In honesty, I don’t have an issue with an ID card if it replaces the driving license and passport, but there is no way I am going to carry a so-called smart ID card that leaves my personal information open to theft. Nor am I going to have the proposed phone app that would allow other apps access to my personal information.
Ah no worries Redge! It will all be voluntary until it isn’t.
Won’t it be grand when nobody can buy or sell (or vote, or travel, or emit carbon) without permission from the government?
Are you obtuse or disingenuous?
I know that I have asked this many times, but I still do not think that I have gotten a coherent answer.
Labour need not call a general election until 15 August 2029. Getting rid of Sir Stalin would potentially only dissipate discontent with Labour by substituting a Left-populist like Burnham. Even if he were so inclined, the king has no actual power to dissolve parliament. There is no prospect of two thirds of MPs calling for an election in a vote of no confidence. Given those poll numbers, no PM would call for an election.
So what is the relevance of voter preference nearly four years ahead of any prospect of an election?
If Starmer goes the Labour Party chooses a new leader ie PM
The Tories used the same trick
No early election without a miracle
Voters? Oh them.
My point precisely. You could go out of the Starmer frying pan into the Diane Abbott fire. Although that would assure an end to Labour’s run in 2029, there might be no country left by then.
Ah, that leaves an opening for Diane Abbott now, doesn’t it?
Nooooo!
I’ve taken the BBC to task for this misleading headline.
The word I want to change is “discount”. While the government website also erroneously uses “discount”. Discount is defined as:
Collins English Dictionary:
Cambridge English Dictionary:
Naturally, the BBC has refused to change their headline to “grant” or “subsidy” on the basis that they are merely reporting what the government have said.
I’ve now reported the misleading headline to Ofcom, although I don’t have high hopes that Ofcom will actually tell the BBC to correct their headline.
I’ll let you know how I get on.
The BBC does what the fnuck it pleases, Redge…
The former director of BBC Television told LBC that ‘death, death to the IDF’ chants on stage at Glastonbury were a “clear incitement” to violence and that a corporation investigation into the controversy was an example of them ‘marking their own homework’.
the BBC’s complaints unit ruled that chants of ‘death to the IDF’ at Glastonbury did not breach editorial guidelines preventing the broadcaster from airing material that could incite violence. – LBC
The BBC has no standards other than critical theory says….
I know, mate, but you gotta try
Kudos
The Beeb has standards – all low.
When anyone criticised my work I always said “I have my standards and will not raise them for anyone”. A very popular ethos in the media and political field.
Redge,
The discount is, in essence, a return of excessive tax to the tax payer.
Last three cars..
Boycott Brazil!
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-officials-urged-boycott-un-climate-summitt-trump-seethes-climate-change-con-job
When? Never.
Somebody’s a Killery fan? The witch will never, ever be arrested, charged, much less convicted. The evil is strong in that one…prob. too strong for mere mortals to stop.
You are correct, Sir!
Accountability is coming!
uh huh, righhhhhhhhh tuh.
Agreed, if he can release Amelia Earharts file (which was obviously a distraction) he can release the Epstein files.
Still got an Epstein fetish, hey. !
Did you have it during the Autopen years ??
I don’t care who is in charge. Release the files. Why would anyone now not want to see who the pedos are who sexually assaulted and raped all those young girls? You want it hidden do you? Why would you want that?
So do I take it from your silence you would rather protect the pedophiles than the victims? That is very sad.
Here are a few more. I try to focus on the arguments with the most bang for the buck and are backed by simple and easy to understand science and examples.

As of mid-2025, approximately 27.3% of the world’s ocean floor has been mapped to modern standards.
Seafloor Mapping – NOAA Ocean Exploration
There could easily be a large area 20-50cm bulge somewhere on the ocean floor, pushing up sea levels..
.. and we never know
I agree on that part, and why I include the other theory that visible radiation is warming the oceans. The key is 15 micron LWIR won’t penetrate or warm the oceans, visible radiation does. There is plenty of evidence the cloud cover and pollution over the oceans has been reduced. Thanks for the Feedback.
About 50% of sunlight is IR light. The near IR band is 750 to 1400 nm and has most of the energy.
Yes, but only the visible radiation penetrates water.
David D has shown that bulk air movement moves magnitudes more energy that any possible CO2 radiative effect.
CO2 is no more than a flea on an elephant’s butt !
They oppose it
This video was filmed back in 2009. It is extremely prophetic. Now that we can look back in time and see how things transpired, it is pretty frightening.

David,
You have to check out this new website on weather and climate data acquisition and display that I just discovered. The URL for the home website is: https://extremeweatherwatch.com. There is displayed in highlight the US states and many counties of the world. Click on a highlight get the climate data.
A secondary website for temperature data is:
https://www.extremeweatherwatch.com/cities/adelaide/average-temperature-by-year.
Another secondary website for weather data is:
https://www.extremeweatherwatch.com/cities/adelaide/weather. The temperature and climate data is displayed in a different format. At the bottom of page are links to other areas of the website.
This website is ideal for people who limited computer skills like me who want data for checking on global warming and UHI effects.
You should consider publishing a review of this website at the CFACT
website.
Thanks for those links. I wish I could give you more than just one +
Thank you for the up vote. The up votes just make my day.
You should definitely go to the late John L. Daly’s website: “Still Waiting for Greenhouse” available at:
http://www.john-daly.com.
NB: If you click on the chart, it will expand and become clear. Click on the “X” in the circle to return to comment text.
WIND, SOLAR, TRADE AND SANCTIONS
https://www.windtaskforce.org/profiles/blogs/wind-solar-trade-and-sanctions

HIGH COST/kWh OF W/S SYSTEMS FOISTED ONTO A BRAINWASHED PUBLIC
https://www.windtaskforce.org/profiles/blogs/high-cost-kwh-of-w-s-systems-foisted-onto-a-brainwashed-public-1
See URL
https://www.windtaskforce.org/profiles/blogs/fuel-and-co2-reductions-due-to-wind-energy-less-than-claimed
1) Federal and state tax credits, up to 50% (Community tax credit 10%; Federal tax credit of 30%; State tax credit; other incentives up to 10%);
2) 5-y Accelerated Depreciation to write off of the entire project;
3) Loan interest deduction
.
Utilities forced to pay:
At least 15 c/kWh, wholesale, after 50% subsidies, for electricity from fixed offshore wind systems
At least 18 c/kWh, wholesale, after 50% subsidies, for electricity from floating offshore wind
At least 12 c/kWh, wholesale, after 50% subsidies, for electricity from larger solar systems
.
– Disassembly on land and at sea, reprocessing and storing at hazardous waste sites, about 2 c/kWh
Total ADDER 2 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 11 c/kWh
Some of these values exponentially increase as more W/S systems are added to the grid
.
The STEM professionals going into management, make big bucks, especially if they get stock options.
And STEM is hard. Plus, of course, math is racist.
“Despite the hype, there is no real evidence that CO2 has any effect on our global climate system.”
Needs repeating…… just wish I could add bells and whistles. !!
There is no such thing as “climate change” because most of the climate is water, ice, snow, rocks and sand and these large masses can’t be altered by an activities of humans.
CO2 IS AN ABSOLUTELY VITAL FOR GROWING FLORA AND FAUNA; NET ZERO IS A SUICIDE PACT
https://www.windtaskforce.org/profiles/blogs/co2-is-an-absolutely-vital-gas-ingredient-for-growing-flora-and
Anybody know what to do?
I’ve been signed up for email notifications for many years, and get one per post. That broke with the recent changes after everything was reset. I finally got the subscription back and I’m getting the same thing. Some remaining glitch.
