There’s no question that Germans and Europeans are much worse off than they’ve been in a very long time.
This has been due to incompetent, ideological leadership shadowy and global puppeteers. Fortunately their days may soon be numbered, as 2025 offers many rays of hope.

I’ve actually found myself longing for the days when climate change was one of the biggest issues we supposedly were facing – before Corona.
Since then, things has deteriorated markedly in Germany, causing concerns about climate to fade. Now nobody even cares about it. Germans and Europeans have long since been redirected to real, undeniable threats:
- economic woes
- falling living standards
- inflation
- energy supply bottlenecks
- deindustrialization
- loss of democracy
- growing restrictions
- curtailment of freedom of expression
- heightening war in Ukraine
- uncontrolled immigration
- skyrocketing crime rates
- elevated terror threat
- state-propaganda media
Real problems and crises
There’s no question Germans and Europeans are worse off than they’ve been in a very long time. Gone are the days when people here had nothing better to worry about than the climate crisis hoax. Today, Germans and Europeans are facing problems that are real and profound.
Never since World War II has the situation for Germany and much of looked bleaker than it does today.
Rays of hope for 2025
But there are powerful rays of lights bursting through the dark layers of clouds in 2025. There are true winds of change blowing: political forces that promise to bring back the peace and prosperity we were robbed of for years. Already in many countries we’ve seen huge political shifts as citizens have become weary of the rapid and undeniable socioeconomic deterioration brought on by incompetent leaders and their puppeteers.
2025, though likely to be tumultuous at times, promises to bring about revolutionary changes. Keep in mind that the major forces behind them have been or are about to be deployed. The axis of incompetent leaders and the globalization are in total disarray, with many elements already on the run. Now is the time to run them down (politically) and defeat them mercilessly. The iron is hot and now is the time to strike it with abandon. If everyone delivers a blow, we can forge a new future.
So on that note, We wish everyone a Merry Christmas, and keep in mind that there’s a lot to be hopeful about in 2025.

Always hopeful, but not sure as the monster of borrow and spend has become untethered from reality. Seeing the clip Elon posted of Reagan on Carson brought back memories and understanding. So eloquent, plainly and perfectly stated yet the problem has grown. Republicans sadly staring with Reagan would do anything in the name of security and defense spending such that they had to give in to massive social spending. The great Gingrich-Clinton bargain seemed to be the genesis of where we needed to be, but alas 9-11 bent the security minded out of shape and Bush gave the liberals whatever they wanted if they would only fund the war on terror. Wrapped in spending were the seeds of the financial crises which were hard to see but there nonetheless and take off it did to where we are at. Only the most strong could stop this madness of debt and spend. No Trump no Musk can stop it when the rot runs deep in the libs plus the rinos. They think they are doing good no doubt, but what folly they bring upon us. Merry Christmas and love and we shall overcome. We hope. We dream.
Trump wins the election. The government of France collapses, and then collapses again as Macron tries to form another.
The German government collapses and is then rocked by a terrorist attack by a Saudi that the government had been warned about and which they refused to extradite back to his home country where he was a wanted man. It appears a right leaning party will gain a plurality for the first time in quite awhile.
The UK government is an unpopular mess and the Reform party is steadily gaining power.
In Canada, Twinkle Toes Trudeau is on his way out and will be replaced with a more conservative government. That narcissist will never step down but is soon to be forced to leave.
The EU is feeling the heat of their own making and meanwhile Trump is already turning up the heat on NATO members to pay their fair share plus back pay while making noises about the US leaving if they don’t; The Europeans are in no position militarily or economically to fight WW III with Russia or to even sustain support for Ukraine without the US.

Trump is bypassing the state department by appointing envoys that are experienced and loyal to him so Europe will see no relief through the State Department watering down Trump mandates and policies.
It appears to me that we are watching the global oligarchy’s dream of the new world order implode.

A Global community was never going to work when China, Russia and their allies were never willing to play.

It is difficult to overstate the importance of Musk’s acquisition of Twitter in helping to bring about many of the events listed above and others. It has become the #1 news app world wide and it’s influence is continuing to expand.

I would be interested to know if the effect it has had here on the old state controlled media is being mirrored in Europe. I suspect it is.
Here MSNBC is a financial basket case. CNN had it’s worst year of Nielston ratings in it’s existence so they’re laying off staff and cutting salaries of even the big names. The prime time viewership share of ABC, NBC, and CBS have all taken substantial hits.
After ABC being humiliated by losing an 18 million dollar defamation suite to Trump it has been hilarious watching all the talking heads trying to make the case that in order for them to be able to call the President out for any inaccuracy his words or statements, they can’t be held responsible for the inaccuracy of their own words or statements.

All one had to do was watch the reopening of Notre Dame to know how the land lies.
Macron was far too weak politically to come to Mara Largo to kiss the ring but the opening gave him a perfect opportunity to invite Trump to France. Justin was very quick to come running down to kiss the ring and got a slap in the face when Trump trolled him about Canada becoming the 51st state. The Socialist tool Pope wisely decided it was best he stay away even though it was such an historic occasion for the Church. And one European leader after another lined up to greet Trump and try to feel out where they stand with him.

It has been pointed out that cancelling the elections could backfire especially given their proposed changes are more ill thought out Student Union ideas that are not wanted by the people. The last local government reshuffle was 8 years in the making with commissions and consultations.

Western Europe is enduring political and social conditions approaching those of the 1930’s. Perhaps not quite as blatant but certainly reminiscent of. Including in the UK where its been put on steroids with our newly elected socialist government.
These far-left, Hitler’esq governments are pulling out all the underhand stops they can to resist the public movement to the right, including attempting to rig elections, sometimes successfully in Romania, Georgia and Moldova. Macron is scheming and manoeuvring to wriggle away from Le Pen and Germany is doing the same to scupper the AfD, including an outright ban if they can get away with it.
I have a contact who has lived in Russia for many years now He’s shocked at the erosion of individual freedoms in the UK and western Europe. Even during the Ukraine conflict Russian citizens and media are free to criticise their government, especially now the west has done Putin’s job for him by stripping many oligarchs of their wealth and sending them to ground.
What does surprise me though, is that so many people who lost complete faith in our governments and MSM over the climate scam suddenly have complete faith in both over Covid, Ukraine and Gaza.

I’m also shocked at the erosion of individual freedoms in my own country, the UK.
Free speech is one of the most basic freedoms, and we have lost most of our freedoms in that area. Completely harmless and innocent people have been arrested for social media posts. It’s practically a crime to even criticise the establishment, particularly religion. I hope the first Reform government will restore free speech. All speech should be free with a few narrow exceptions: libel, disclosure of genuine state secrets and speech that encourages violence or illegal activity. I assume you’re joking. The destruction of basic freedoms in Putin’s Russia, particularly since he invaded Ukraine, is far, far, far worse than anything in the UK or Europe.
All the independent media were driven out as well as maybe a million Russians. People were arrested for calling the war a war. They were arrested for merely standing in a public place and holding up a blank piece of paper. All the political opposition leaders were either arrested and jailed, forced to flee Russia or murdered. And what about the freedoms of all the innocent Ukrainians slaughtered by Putin’s artillery and missiles?

I think HS is dreaming that there is open free speech in Russia. The Russian people are definitely afraid to speak out publically about the government. There is harsh retribution for doing so.
I have been to Russia (and Ukraine as well) multiple times. In private some Russian citizens will speak out regarding their thoughts re the government but they are resigned to the fact that things will probably never change into an actual democracy.
My ex wife is in Tula Russia and I speak to her frequently (she went back to take care of her ailing mother). Even her mother years ago confided that she hated the government.
Now things have gotten worse since the Ukraine invasion. Inflation of goods especially food is up considerably. Even gasoline and gas for heating which is surprising since it’s Russia’s main export and income source. Obviously the tremendous income from these commodities are not shared with the populace.
Then there is the human cost of war; some 600,000 to 700,000 thousand Russian men killed or wounded in the war. All to satisfy Putin’s ego and thirst for the breadbasket in Ukraine.
Putin is basically a thug in my opinion (he was seen and there is a photo of him in east Germany with members of the Stasi) when Berlin was still divided and he has stated that he would like to see the Soviet Union reformed.
So, no Russia does not have a kind supportive government which allows free speech.
BTW Russia celebrates Christmas on Jan 6th.

I wish I could share the author’s optimism. The Great CAGW Scam has clearly run its course and is dying, which is wonderful, but now Europe is faced with a genuine and vastly graver problem. I refer to the forthcoming demographic and cultural replacement as a result of uncontrolled immigration from Third World countries. The current huge pro-Hamas demonstrations in European cities are unequivocal evidence of this.
I see it a bit differently I suppose. It is not that CAGW has run its course and now Europe is faced with a different set of crises far more dire, it is rather that now it becomes apparent that Net Zero was the Trojan Horse to bring in deindustrialisation and totalitarianism. It was the means that led to those ends, not an unrelated and bygone episode.
One must hope that it is not too late for a U turn as the author optimistically celebrates.
In the USA, there was an event that is hard to put into words: an illegal alien from Guatemala, on a New York City subway train, decided to set fire to a woman who was asleep. There are videos of this horror, one apparently shows an NYC cop ignoring the event (I could not watch any of them). Reports are the victim has still not been identified as a result of the fire.
This event has gotten through the usual media firewalls, especially on the East Coast,. The mayor of NYC, democrat Eric Adams, had already broken away from the party on the illegal invasion issue (and the feds rewarded him with an indictment); the NY State governor continues to tow the Bidenista party line, she is likely done-for and cannot be reelected.

I lost many friends and comrades overseas trying to have the locals adopt many American values and methods, but learned it ain’t possible. There is something deeply ingrained an most Americans and some other country’s folks that has resulted in them prosper and enjoy freedom. Despite having won the election, the Media takes every opportunity to denigrate Trump and speculate on his future failures. The ‘warnings’ would be warranted if the Media thought that they saw something dangerous that could be avoided. Instead, it is more like they are setting themselves up to be able to say, “See, we told you so.” Then they work to oppose the party platform. That is, using their power to try to make Trump fail. Elections are supposed to be a way of democratically choosing leaders and thereby the future course of actions to implement the programs and policies of those chosen. To use the power of the Media to deliberately try to make the president fail says that they do not really support democracy, because they do what they have accused Trump of doing.
If the welfare of the country was of foremost concern, then the opposition party and their supporters would remove the barriers to his success and give Trump a chance to prove himself. If given a fair chance, and he fails at delivering, then it is time for a change. However, if Trump runs into premeditated road blocks at every turn, then he and the republican party can legitimately claim that he failed because of treasonous behavior of those who only give lip service to democracy. Give democracy a chance!
The Leftwing Media are not honest. They are propagandists for the Democrat Party. Naturally, they are going to oppose anything and everything Trump does because they are trying to regain political power for the Democrats.
The good news is there are now alternatives to the Leftwing Media and the Leftwing Media is losing its influence among Americans.
I always say the Leftwing Media is the most dangerous organization that exists that is capable of taking away our personal freedoms. If enough American people had not woken up and voted for the right guy, we would be in very deep political trouble right now. The Democrats would be in power and they would see that their lies and distortions of the truth have given them control over our lives and using the power of the federal government, the Democrats would never allow a challenge to their political supremacy again. They came close to knocking Trump out of the race using lawfare and the power of the federal government. If they had been successful, the rest of us would be sunk. If they can take down Trump, then they can take down any one of the rest of us.
Freedom-loving people better be thinking about what we are going to do four years from now, after Trump is gone. We can’t let the Democrats regain power. They will use it to enslave us. We better offer the American people a better alternative.
The U.S. House Republicans looking like the “Keystone Cops” over who is going to be the Speaker of the House, isn’t instilling confidence in the American people.
Show the American people you can get your act together, Republicans! Our very freedoms depend on it! “My way, or the highway” is not a viable position to take. If you take such a position, you will have a Republican opponent, financed by Elon Musk, in your next race for congress.

MSN has been evolving its censorship of articles for some time. I have recently noticed a change that leaves me concerned. For a number of years I have averaged more than 2 ‘Likes’ per comment, with frequent replies. Recently, instead of rejecting comments for ‘bad’ words, they have been accepting most everything and then later deleting the comments. The thing that has me most concerned is that even more recently I’m getting few if any replies or votes. I don’t know if this is direct manipulation of the comments and statistics, or if people are getting tired of the censorship and are now rarely replying to comments or voting.
Related to this, there have been a number of commenters, typically with feminine first names, who have unbelievable numbers of ‘Likes’ and relatively few actual comments, resulting in anomalous comment-to-like ratios that is strongly suggestive that the inarticulate, liberal-flavored comments are from MSN staff hired to inflate the support for ‘woke’ causes.
Shadow banning?

And most of these problems they face are created by the climate crisis hoax.
Very nice. CAGW and Covid are proof positive of why top down government control is bound to fail. We have first hand experience of why the USSR fell, why North Korea is failing, why Venezuela is failing, why Cuba has failed and yes even China although they allow just enough capitalism to keep their head above water. Command and control economies can’t come close to accomplishing what a lightly regulated free market/capitalist system can do. It is that simple.
It’s not only in the countries mentioned mentioned above where sentiments are changing but also we have to remember that global surveys have shown for years that the residents of numerous other nations have never made climate issues anywhere near the top in their lists of personal and national priorities. It’s a relief to see that Germany and several others are waking up to the reality that there is no climate crisis and there’s no need for new taxes, laws and restrictions to combat it.
Just remember they refused to tell the passengers of the Titanic what was happening until the ship started listing and water awashed the decks.
May there be Peace on Earth and Good Will to All People.
Let’s invoke those when confronting the problems of the planet.
