So a well-funded international organisation funding acts of disruption across UK, Europe, USA and probably other countries as well. And absolutely nothing whatsoever is done about them – just nothing at all. If these had been of the political right there would have been a huge effort by numerous law enforcement groups to investigate and shut down this ‘hate’ group. This has got to stop, they have to be defunded and this behaviour has got to be shown as unacceptable – they might be just throwing powder around today but some of them, the more extreme ones, will (or have already) move on to arson, bombs and guns. Make no mistake, this is a terrorist organisation – it’s methods may not be on a par with the Red Brigade, IS or Al Qaeda yet but that’s where they’re heading. The time to stop this, before the bodies pile up, is now.

It has all the makings of a pink insurrection, but given that these guys are covered in the substance, the police weren’t sure if they had the culprits or whether they were innocent bystanders.

Sure it must have been very confusing for the guards – the powder is on the case, on their clothes, there’s a big space around them with no-one close and they’re the only ones making stupid remarks to a camera. I’m guessing the guards must’ve spent a few minutes searching for the perpetrators elsewhere in the building, right?

There’s a security guard in the photo above. They are just standing there while the perps check their cell phones. WTF?? Those twerps ought to be face down on the ground in handcuffs by the time anyone could snap a picture.

It was all so very confusing. The guards were only distracted for a moment and coincidentally surveillance cameras malfunctioned at the same time. Without reason, staff had allowed the subject to accumulate extra bedsheets and linens.

Sorry, wrong conspiracy.

Not really – it’s pink and they’re handling it without gloves or protective gear so, like with the orange powder in the UK, it’s just paint powder.

I am completely mystified as to why this document was targeted as surely it would have brought the group nothing but bad reviews? What on earth was that Guard doing, just lounging around? Has there been any explanation for his behaviour?

I remain equally mystified as to why these idiots target great works of art. What is the purpose -is it merely to gain maximum publicity, even if that is negative?

According to their website these morons think that…

every time the state imprisons us for nonviolently demanding a livable future, we win a moral battle. The more the state oppresses those asking for the right to live in a sustainable world, the less tenable its moral stance becomes in the eyes of the greater public.”

WRONG.

According to a Pew poll in the US…

“About half of Americans (49%) say climate activism does not really affect people’s levels of support, and 21% believe it has the opposite of its intended effect and makes people less likely to support action on climate change.”

The left/Democrat Party hates the United States and wants to destroy our country – our rights, history, values, etc. They hate the Constitution as part of that. Every so often they’ll even tell you directly (often adding that it’s a racist document that was written by old white men). And of course, Brandon and his ilk wipe their butts with the Constitution every day.

The side issue here, and probably in other examples of criminal conduct involving the CAGW theme, is the inability or unwillingness of the Security staff to stop or interrupt these events. Begging your pardon, but it appears that DEI (Diversity/Equity/Inclusion) is involved. A counter example is the citizens that detained (beat in some cases) the shooters at the World Football Champions Kansas City Chiefs parade. Which do you want?

The security guards follow their instructions. The same is true for the urban crime of graffiti. Security and law enforcement are instructed not to interfere unless physical violence ensues. The protestors are exercising their expanded right to “free speech”, which evidently includes the damage to property belonging to others.

Well, there’s something between doing nothing and looking stupid vs. pummeling them. They could have grabbed their arms and put on cuffs and taken them away- normal police work. It’s almost as if the cops were terrified of being rough with them what with the public standing there with cameras. Instead, the public will think the cops were not doing their jobs.

An interesting situation. In the halls of Congress and the White House the US Constitution is defiled regularly by the elected representatives, asset forfeiture a case in point. Attributing holiness to a piece of parchment with an outdated and ignored philosophy makes the same amount of sense as damaging it in an attempt to legitimize an unpopular and scientifically illiterate theory. “Democracy” is, in fact, a secular religion so as the lighting afire of the stars and stripes and obscuring the Constitution, holy relics, the bones of saints, are the palpable realities of an abstraction and must be protected, preserved yet made visible to the subjects. The mummified corpse of Lenin serves the same purpose in Red Square.
If Yankees require the unqualified worship of such a relic to insure the survival of their republic, its survival would seem to be in doubt.

‘In the halls of Congress and the White House the US Constitution is defiled regularly…’

You and Lysander beat me to it.

But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain – that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case it is unfit to exist.

Do you think we should have a constitution? Or should we just let government do whatever the majority wants done?

What do you believe is outdated regarding the document?

The constitution was implemented to control government. It has failed.

An example of its being outdated: at the time the second amendment was added, “arms” weren’t just pistols and rifles, they were swords, maces, knives, spears, lances, shillelaghs, garottes, foils, epees, canes, walking sticks, billy clubs and more.

Holiness? Displayed and protected in a marble rotunda, a kind of ark of the covenant? No evident holiness there! Wander further around the capital, idols of the gods of democracy are on display. If the Lincoln monument isn’t idolatry, nothing is, even though the railsplitter god ignored democracy as a matter of course. We’ll briefly mention how the democratic religion spread, gaze on Mount Rushmore, an insult to rationality.

“An example of its being outdated: at the time the second amendment was added, “arms” weren’t just pistols and rifles”

Your example illustrates the opposite. Suppose they had written “the right of the people to keep and bear muskets”

To say the constitution is outdated is to say human nature is outdated. Our constitution seeks to balance that part of human nature which allows man to live as a free individual, against those aspects of human nature which pose a threat to others.
As we are learning, probably too late, human beings reject the constitution at great peril.

Just look at the position the police have been put in.

In NYC, as the cops tried to arrest one “asylum seeker”, they were jumped by 7 more. Because of leftist policies, and the laws allowing trial lawyers to sue police for just about anything, they didn’t even have billy clubs to defend themselves with.

It has been said that when the government does not enforce criminal statutes for theft of property and assault, etc. with sufficient punishment, eventually the people will provide the punishment themselves. When that happens the punishment will be death.

If this crap was happening 50 years ago, that would already be the case. With cameras everywhere, people are just taking it.

These guys have repudiated their oath of loyalty to the Constitution. They should be required to re-state it. If they refuse: deportation.

If they do restate the oath, there should be a video record, which should be displayed for public view on the INS website.

Those who burn the flag likewise, candidly. Everyone gets a second chance. Three repudiations, and the offender loses U.S. citizenship and gets 6 months to arrange their affairs and move to the country of their choice (presuming some country would have them).
