We are going to be adding a media section. This section will highlight the best videos and podcasts related to the climate change discussion. While I already have my own personal list that I will include, I want to give readers a chance to weigh in on their favorites. Part of the reason for doing this is that quality climate skeptic videos get suppressed by “woke” search engines. We want to make them easy to find here.
Just a couple of requests:
1. Any video/podcast that looks/sounds like a rant won’t past muster here. For example, one former commenter who routinely claimed to have found “a new paradigm” will be automatically excluded. Along those same lines, anything that claims planetary atmospheric pressure is the cause, or that barycentrism rules, or a host of other “out there” crackpot theories that we have debunked here over the years will automatically get passed over.
2. Any video/podcast that claims “hoax”, “fraud” etc. also won’t do. I want content that discusses the science and the issues factually and rationally without stooping to mudslinging, namecalling, and derogatory commentary. There are plenty of places where these videos and podcasts exist, and some are very popular. Just like global warming aka catastrophic climate change itself is a popular belief, just becuase it is popular, doesn’t mean we should include it.
3. If you submit a video/podcast, be mindful of anything behind paywalls. Also, since the WUWT staff may not have time to fully review each and every one, if you can provide a brief summary, it would be helpful. All we need is a working link and a description.
That’s it. For starters, and as an example of quality content, here is one we will be including:
P.S. We may include a category that is comedy/satire, so consider that too. Likewise, we may include videos where the presentation is simply flat wrong, but we’ll need the “why” in detail ahead of time. If that happens, it is likely to be a second round effort. Also, don’t try to make sense of the header picture in this post related to any of this. I simply liked the clouds and couldn’t find anything representative that worked any better. – Anthony

One of Jordan Peterson best moments on Climate Change.
Here’s another link to the same event. At the end it also includes a portion of Peterson’s interview with Michael Shellenberger.
Peterson makes a few good points, here are three:
1 – If you project out 50 years, the error bars become so large that you won’t be able to tell if what you do now has had any effect or not.
2 – Germany’s attempts to cut emissions actually increased emissions and made electricity prices skyrocket.
3 – If you really want to improve the environment, follow Bjorn Lomborg’s plans. It will be way cheaper than trying to implement solar and wind, and it will work way better.
The person who asked the question probably had a good opinion of itself and may have been trying to patronize Peterson. Bad mistake. LOL
Ben Pile (Climate Resistance) has a Youtube channel that deserves a wider audience. He has made some slick pieces aimed at particular issues, and has a nice series of podcasts with other contributors from the COP 26 period.

Anthony, we should try to find good historical stuff on LIA, MWP, RWP and “no-way-to-argue_away” solid evidence, like the big 5000yr old white spruce near Tuktuyaktuk, Arctic Canada, showing that the globe was 3-4°C warmer during Holocene Max.
If there isn’t a video, a project of Heartland or Marc Morano or GWPE to produce one would be good. It is a medium that you don’t have to be a scientist or math whiz to understand it (over 90% of your audience is in this category). Re the ‘Tuk’ spruce, I gave that to a 12 yr old to draw his own conclusions which he did correctly. That’s powerful stuff for the non-scientist to be solidly convinced.
Need to interview archeologists, historians etc: Hannibal and his elephants crossing the Alps, Wineries in Scotland, Greenland farmstead, barley, sheep etc.
Did you discuss that because of obliquity and precession northern hemisphere insolation was much higher than now during that time?
Dr. Patrick Moore – A Dearth of Carbon?
Great idea!
I regret that I may not be able to contribute much.
While at one time 20 to 30 years ago I might have been (in my local circles at work) considered to be a techno-Lion, I’m now a techno-Dino.
(I still don’t have a cell phone.)
But, may I suggest a some do few videos of, say, local flood events highlighted on the The Storm Channel and the MSM but shot looking away from the flooded creek?
“(I still don’t have a cell phone.)”
Worse than that, I only buy flip phones!

I liked the podcast.
I agree that Climategate is probably the major cause of skepticism about Human-caused Climate Change among the public.
Climategate is also probably the reason President Trump thought it was a hoax. He says as much on the podcast.
In all seriousness, Willie Soon’s 2015 work has been debunked?

Or am I missing something or misunderstanding barycentrism?
Of course the chemical composition of the atmosphere will have an effect on the surface temperature. Of course the thickness an density of the atmosphere will have an effect on the surface temperature. Of course the gravitational effects of the planets will have an effect on the sun and that, in turn, will have an effect on the Earth’s surface temperature.
Things become crackpot when people insist that any one thing, taken simplistically, tells the whole story. In that light, CO2 as the Earth’s thermostat is just another crackpot theory. 🙂
I would also like a listing of PowerPoints with talking points…..?
“For example, one former commenter who routinely claimed to have found “a new paradigm” will be automatically excluded.”
Probably means Tony Heller, and that would be a mistake.
I haven’t seen Tony Heller offer up new paradigms or explanations. Most of his videos are about comparisons between old and new datasets, missing data, contradictory claims made by the various official climate organs, etc. IMHO
I saw somewhere, perhaps an old comment in this blog, that Tony used to post here but for some reason was no longer welcome. Not sure what happened.
I hear there is frozen carbon dioxide in some of the craters on the Moon. Quite a bit of it if estimates are correct.
More focus on the Solution, rather than the Problem, please.
The solution to energy, while we continue with coal and oil, is a really difficult program – Fusion.
I recommend these regular short video updates :

This shifts the rampant popular focus on psychology, sociology, pathology, to the future and science. We hardly want the future to look like a huge COP (pun intended), do we?
Send them to the “media” and make it more difficult for them to mindlessly adhere to the “Climate Change” meme!
One of the best I’ve ever seen is “The Great Global Warming Swindle”,https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oYhCQv5tNsQ
I want to see clear graphs, that I can send to my correspondents, that show the entire history of climate, graphing temperature changes over time, and CO2 changes over time.
Leonard Nimoys New Ice Age video from the 70s is of course very useful. Then The Great Global Warming Swindle from the UK.
Michael Shermer podcast episode with Steven Koonin on his book “Unsettled”. New as of today. Balanced and provocative.
This is outstanding: https://youtu.be/jFcJLLMhpEA
A suggestion from a site I sometimes visit: “Fifteen minutes long, because you’re in a hurry, and we’re not that smart.”
Writing Excuses
Shorter is better. Too long and not but a few will ever watch or listen.
“…I simply liked the clouds and couldn’t find anything representative that worked any better. – Anthony”
I looked at that picture and didn’t know if it was just a painting, a time lapse photo, a real actual photo, or a black and white version of a 70’s black-light poster!
I recommend Alex Epstein”s podcast. He is the author of A Moral Case for Fossil Fuels

1. Video: I may have one I did for the Geologist’s Association in the UK, which starts on natural climate change realities and them moves onto the likely influence of submarine volcanicity on ocean surface warming and its variability. If they make it public. I am checking.
2 BTW as regards pressure and temperature as they relate to the lapse rate, what do you mean by that?
The Barometric formulae are a well established basis for climatology. The lapse rate to the tropopause down to 0.1Bar is determined by Gravitational pressure on the atmosphere and the TSI that creates the atmosphere by heating the surface. Physics 101. NOthing to do with GHE which may change it slightly.
In particular the Barometric Equation describes how this pressure relationship works, and its derivation and application is well described in the literature. See below.
The equation describes how pressure at any height is a function of gravitational force = the acceleration times height, and temperature. The energy that supports all this molecular action, versus a -273 surface with nothing happening, comes from the solar radiation.
Neither pressure nor temperature are causal per se. PV = nRT should describe the relationship between the variables. Water vapour messes up the ideal gas basis somewhat.
Same on most planets and Moons. NASA validated. Established science.

I suspect you meant something else?
Oh, and another video, the killer reality of ice core data by a Neils Bohr Institute Geologist.
