Psychic Medium Ian Scott writes via our “submit story” link:
Climate Change Please Use Common Sense.
Climate change, global warming the heated debate goes on and on. A handful of scientists say one thing and a handful of scientists say another ? which scientists do we believe ? “none of them”. Lets all use our common sense, “I know” many of you are now asking what’s that.
A Climate Change Skeptic ?
Earth is a living breathing organism just like any other living thing, it feels, it hurts, it cries, it grows and changes. If we remove all minerals and metals from any living thing will it survive ?. If we drill enormous holes in any living thing and withdraw it’s fluid constantly, I ask you, will it live ? the common sense answer is, of course not. Scientists words are not gospel they can be paid off just like anyone else to say whatever suits their or their payee’s purposes. The governments answer to tax and throw money at it, is futile, the corporations ( banks, electricity, mainstream media, ) run this world and the biggest ones are the oil company’s they literally hold everyone on the planet to ransom. Oil has been the cause of many wars on earth including the ones happening now.
Unfortunately we are all powerless against these corporations as they hold the influence in governments and now with the TPP they will literally own the governments. This is where all the false reports come from it is very similar to a handful ( not all ) of viral posts or viral youtube videos, the more money you have the more views or lies you can afford. Unfortunately money, greed and power are the goals of most people on the planet, “money makes the world go round” well yes it does, in a world of money, greed and power. With enough money you can make people believe anything you want them to.
Climate Change Conspiracy
Every living being on the planet should understand this common sense factor about global warming, it should not take any guessing and trying to prove anything from anybody, scientist or not. It does not take a genius or psychic for that matter to comprehend the damage we are doing to the earth. Now the solution is as many of us know already is free and renewable energy but the corporations hold this from us too. Climate change has effects on humans, animals, plants and all living things. If common sense is used these corporations paying millions to make us believe climate change is not real, will go broke trying. © by psychic medium Ian Scott
If we remove all minerals and metals from any living thing will it survive ?
===============
how about mercury amalgam? Is it OK to remove this from the earth? Why do we remove it from people’s teeth?
And what about Arsenic? Should we remove this from the earth? It is poisonous living things, so it must also be poisonous to the earth? If we leave it in the Earth won’t it kill the earth?
And what about Lead? Doesn’t this cause brain damage? Is the Earth brain damaged as a result of all the lead left in the ground?
..Are psychics eligible for government grants to study “Glo.Bull Warming” ? Why should they have to do a study if they are psychic ? Shouldn’t they already know ?
Well… if science don’t work, bring in the mystics. I guess.
Just as an aside, I see that some comments were deleted because of some cursing or inappropriate words. Whatever happened, I think I understand. When “arguments” such as these are put forward, the choices are to [a] kick the cat (which annoys the wife), [b] curse a blue streak (which annoys the neighbors, and the wife), or [c] sit back, take a long drink of an alcoholic beverage and think about a nice, warm beach filled with women who cannot be bothered to wear very much in the way of clothing because, you know, global warming.
Yeah science is guessing and mishaps anyway bring the real people in
The silly thing is that ALL the cultural relativists subscribe to the notion that this guy has the right to his view and should be coddled not shamed. Further, he has a point about corporations suppressing our access to free or at least low cost renewable energy. AND if you think that his scheduled hormone therapy and surgery is a crazy permutation of what we used to think of as medical science you are simply a troglodyte denier right wing conspiracy theory believing fellow traveler of some nasty hater group and SHUT YOUR MOUTH!
snarc/ (because in politically correct times some people can’t recognize a sense of humor)
Actually,$40 a barrel oil ain’t half bad. Compares to $20+ in 1970. The price of gasoline back then was %1.76 in 1970. Considering they’ve raised the gas tax from about 5 cents to 85 cents gas is still a bit cheaper.
As commonsense tells us, there’s no sense in nonsense, just as there’s no sense in most opinions. Just ask two win kinda sewers.
I’m a bit mystified. I admit I don’t follow his “logic” too well, and I certainly don’t believe much of his argument, but it occurs to me that the comments, for the most part, have me wondering as to who is the most bigoted and to who is the most unreasonable. I don’t agree with Ian, and I doubt that this work of his is in anyway prophetic – although it is someone pathetic. However, I really don’t think he deserves the derisive attacks that most of the comments are. Freedom of speech is, after all, freedom of speech. There is nothing that says you can’t disagree with him, but why pile of the deriding and malicious comments? Is that the qualities that “skeptics” display best? It seems to be the ones displayed most often.
That’s “pile on,” not pile of.
“Pile of” seems about right, Tom, for Thrive On News and psychic medium Ian Scott.
” I certainly don’t believe much of his argument…”
I’m curious as to the parts you do “believe”.
His writing appears “all” fabricated to me.
Tom O “…me wondering as to who is the most bigoted and to who is the most unreasonable.”
Perhaps I am, depending on how such things are measured and to whom it matters. But bigot is such a limiting word suggesting a capacity for only two ways of looking at something. Better yet is “polygot.”
This is a science blog, more or less. Readers here are probably not reading other points of view so occasionally it is worthwhile to bring one of those points of view HERE to avoid the echo chamber syndrome that plagues so many blogs.
It is refreshing to escape the binary language of moisture vaporators (us versus them); to read an entirely different viewpoint that helps re-calibrate our sympathies to relatively more normal CAGW believers that worry about simply running out of oil rather than anthropomorphizing the Earth.
I got three paragraphs into this piece, eyebrows raised, before I burst out laughing. I do actually have some empathy for Earth itself and a metaphor of a living thing is worthwhile when not carried to an extreme. It is just as easy to consider Earth a *fruit* and the oil and coal a *gift* to mankind; to fail to use these gifts would be an *insult* to mother Earth.
What happened to my freedom of speech? I can no longer call BS when BS is obvious?
One of the problems with leaving your mind open, is that if you are not careful, your brains just might fall out.
Tom,
“There is nothing that says you can’t disagree with him, but why pile of the deriding and malicious comments?”
Mr. Scott himself makes several deriding and malicious comments (predominately toward anyone who is even skeptical of the climate alarmist attitude, and some to humans in general; i.e.~ Unfortunately money, greed and power are the goals of most people on the planet”) . . so, why exactly does he not “deserve” what he got here?
You remind me of SJWs spouting all manner of hateful things about all sorts of people, and then shouting “hate speech” when someone reacts negatively . .
I suspect you are part of the recent drive to censor the internet, frankly.
It’s Ok I really don’t mind it shows exactly what we are dealing with on climate change hateful negative afraid to loose their business people in fear.
Why is it that so many people who advocate for renewable energy, are unable to write coherent sentences?
Tom
Wow! your PC orgasm just about knocked me over.
Unlike George Mason’s Shula, nobody on this thread is proposing to RICO Scott for his speech.
Freedom of speech is fine; we’re just amazed at Scott’s breath taking display of freedom of stupid.
Thank you so much, it’s quite ok I did this knowing full well what would happen, I’m a psychic right ! I get it you believe this I believe that who cares live with each other. If don’t have to fight or hate something or someone just because they don’t believe what we do. Everybody has a right to have their own beliefs and that should respected no matter what we do or believe in. Nor what colour, race or creed we are from.
A plant is a living thing agree yes you sort of have to. Then in my wildest imagination I can’t understand how you can not believe earth is alive, this is common sense. Love and Light Ian Scott

Then in my wildest imagination I can’t understand how you can not believe earth is alive, this is common sense. Love and Light Ian Scott”
It’s in YOUR mind/imagination that the earth is alive. The earth has no concept of what it is, not what lives on it. It has no idea that it will be consumed by a start that is consuming it’s fuel and will eventually FAIL! Not only do you not know much about this rock you IMAGINE has some “feeling” you also have no idea about solar systems, or anything actually outside your IMAGINATION.
It could be due to Toxoplasma gondii. That would also explain a lot of other things that are going on, including the Bernie & Trump phenomena.
I am the child of a technical writer and a professional proofreader, so I found this post quite cringeworthy. Aside from that, however, one need not be a psychic to sense the operation of a nascent paranoia here.
Nascent?
I’ve seen full-blown paranoia many times. He’s not there yet.
Really thank you so much you have made yourself look extremely clever. I never said anything about being a professional writer, You said that. The paranoia is in you because you have acknowledged it not me. Look at yourself to see what is inside of you.
If I notice that someone else is acting paranoid, this proves that I’m paranoid.
I don’t know what drugs you have been taking, but I would advise cutting down the dose.
I can’t bring myself to read past the first couple of paragraphs, such is the distraction caused by his retarded writing skills. An adult who writes like that should be embarrassed.
+ a gizillion
Please tell me he isn’t registered to vote.
He already knows who will win. It would be pointless to vote.
Ian deserves no mercy, really. His belief system is just a pile of comfortable fantasies without the benefit of the perspective produced by a well rounded education.
I don’t think 99 of 100 people have the merest conception of the vast volume of the earth.
Perhaps id is the delusive effects of the prescriptive produced by a well rounded pill
He appears to be Australian. “Ian is a popular Australian psychic medium and has over 30 years of experience and is an amazingly accurate Psychic Medium. His intuitive connection with a clear direct channel brings forth past lives, messages from beyond and emotional healing.” (from his website.)
Exactly how does Ian demonstrate the accuracy of his “messages from beyond”?
He asks for a repeat, and if he gets the same message that proves his accuracy.
Was this junk published, or is Anthony throwing junk at us for fun? Are there really people out there who buy into this freak’s ideas? If so we are doomed. Doomed I say.
Dig this: “Earth is a living breathing organism just like any other living thing, it feels, it hurts, it cries, it grows and changes. ” Now, that’s deep. Deep, I say.
Is WUWT running short of material?
If so, a shout out for articles might be better than publishing drivel?
I’ve got a couple sitting on the shelf that could be ready to go in short order. I’m sure others do as well. Just holler if you want ’em.
Oh come on now. The post was plainly marked as humor and the title clearly told us that he is a nut. We need a bit of humor now and then. Not every post needs to be deadly serious with the fate of western civilization riding on the it.
Of course a man once said, “Western Civilization? It would be a good idea!”
The other man once said, “Civilization is a transition from barbarism to decadence.”
When most of the “scientists” agree with “psychics,” this transition is complete.
He left out the turtles.
It’s turtles all the way down.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I’m sure that he’s a very nice fellow – probably penned the piece after feeding his gerbil.
What I’d really like him to focus on is how my Cubs are going to do in October.
That’s the important stuff.
grumpyguy
I can help you with that – the answer is “not well”
This is the kind of critical thinking we get from Bernie supporters…
Buy one beer for the price of two and get the second beer absolutely free!
Shallow minds, shallow thoughts, big insults. Sad.
Cheer up Tom! 🙂
Some people really get bent out of shape when others don’t take their particular religions seriously.
Jeez Tom, this is your second “tsk tsk” comment, so I can see the idle chatter, here, on this thread (I hope you haven’t lumped moi in with all the rest), has been a real drag for you and has left your normally chipper “aura” all “low-energy” and peaked-lookin’, and everything. So I hope I’m not out of line if I recommend that you visit Ian Scott’s on-line shop, which is linked to the latest, and apparently only edition of Ian’s “Thrive on News–Free Spiritual Magazine”, a cutting-edge publication of which Ian is “the owner, writer, and editor”, and that features, in what is apparently its sole article, ever, (not counting the gushing, attached testimonial, I mean), an admiring account of Ian, so complete in its exploration of the many forms in which Ian’s essential “grooviness” bravely manifests itself, amidst the dross and mockery of this tacky, earthly plane of existence, that it could almost be used, without changing a single word, even, as advertising copy–not that Ian would ever be interested in such a thing, of course. .
I mean, like, I’m thinkin’, Tom, an order for a coupla of Ian’s “Druid-Boy T-Shirts”, and, maybe, a really cool, “Genuine Alder Wood” Ogham Protection Amulet, strung on “Genuine Leather”, and that comes in a packaging that remarkably resembles laminated paper and fossil-fuel derived plastic, but is obviously no such thing, that would look just darling on your cat, and–what the hell! might as well go on a shoppin’-binge splurge, here, since we’re talkin’ about gettin’ you out of that funk, you’re in, right Tom?–you might even want to put one of those far-out “Dream Catchers” in your virtual shopping cart (the “Spirit of the Cat” example is especially mind-blowing) would do wonders to get you back on a good-vibe roll, I’m thinkin’. Check it out, Tom!
Tom
(sigh)
If what you’re trying to say is you’re disappointed in (the rest of) us for not embracing Ian’s cow poo, you have judged correctly.
Somebody has to make real decisions, do real work and pay real taxes so guys like Ian can live off the fat of the land.
But then Ian knew he’d get this response.
Sure did proving a fact and that is skeptics and negative thinkers will attack others simply because that is what they do. No real honest opinions just attacks. Those that attack others is in fact a hatred or mis like for themselves. Basic psychology. Many blessings Ian
Translation: I’m used to people laughing at me. However in order to protect what’s left of my sanity, I’ve convinced myself that the problem is in those other people who don’t believe as I do.
Brad Keyes is a sceptical psychic. You may find his predictions more suitable.

Being idle, I had a quick look at this bloke’s website. Do not go there, you’ll need new pair of shoes, it is a total ‘merde’
You should shout yourself a new pair of shoes anyway be kind to yourself. Then hop on over to thrive on news

This is the interesting bit
Q: So if the heat emanates from within and rises to the solid surface, why don’t we have a generally cooling effect? What keeps the center of Earth hot?
AE: Magnetism, both generated and received. The example we would use are your coils for sparks, in automobiles, your transportation devices. The magnetic field expands then collapses around the coil. The introduction of electricity into a coil creates the magnetism which then collapses onto the coil as the electricity is interrupted, and a spark is made. Earth magnetism does this also, with the steel and iron Earth contains. The magnetism of the sun, your star has great effect on this. Remember, as your guardians have told you, most of Earth’s solid surface is covered by water and the effects of surface heating and cooling are limited to hard land, a small portion of the surface creates the season effects. The vast portions of water absorb the surface heating effect with almost no consequence. The rise of heat to the hard surface under water has little short term effect on climate and weather; it does control the patterns of Earth surface weather.
Q: We’ve been told before, global warming or climate change is not a human effect.
AE: No, it is not and humans cannot yet affect climate and weather. Magnetism does this.
Any scientists wish to comment on this
When electricity warms something, there is a loss of energy in the electric circuit.
So each time through the magnetism to electricity back to magnetism loop. Energy is lost. There is nothing to replace that energy. So if this were truly the mechanism that’s keeping the earth’s core warm, the earth’s core would have frozen solid billions of years ago.
Let me see if I have this straight. Heat can only escape from the earth from dry land, water is apparently a perfect insulator? Try getting into a tub of unheated water and see how long you keep warm. Sheesh.
And even better, this heating from dry land is what creates the seasons?
I’m hoping that the person who created this web site was having a lot of fun.
Because if he’s serious, he needs immediate psychiatric intervention.
Oh stop it, I don’t claim to be anything else than what I’ve stated. [snip]
And my comment is based on what you have stated.
What’s this : “…as your guardians have told you…”?
Does this guy ride on the short bus, too?
No I ride on a unicorn
I wonder how many times he has to rub his balls to see what’s coming up?
(Sorry!)
Three times
Last night I had to console mother earth, she was crying. ( eyes rolling in my head ) ….. don’t touch the baby asteroids, they need to grow up to become planets! I have to go see the lizard king now.
Are you ok mate see lifeline or a psychologist they can help with your problem. You know if your seeing lizards something wrong. love and light
If you are talking of LifeLine here in Australia, then bad call. These people deal with real issues.
Actually, your comment is a very shallow and selfish comment to make if indeed you are talking about LifeLine here in Australia. They actually help real people in the community who suffer from real problems such as alcohol/drug abuse, domestic violence and suicide thoughts/attempts. So to use their name in the way you have is disgusting and derogatory to the services, real services, these people provide to the community nationwide. A clear indication, IMO, how disconnected from reality you are.
Highly resistant to applied engineering. Always going OHM all the time…
In the comic strip “The Perishers”, the character Wellington predicted that when the oil had been pumped out of the Earth, it would seize up and stop rotating.
The psychic is right about the TTP, of course, but you don’t need to be psychic to see that.
Excellent, that was what I was hoping to hear it doesn’t take a psychic to realize we are killing the earth.
We are? Have evidence of that given much of the earth is largely uninhabited and explored, especially the 7/10ths of the surface covered in water.
I don’t see any evidence that we are killing the earth.
In fact the earth has been getting much healthier in recent decades.
‘The governments answer to tax and throw money at it, is futile, the corporations ( banks, electricity, mainstream media, ) run this world and the biggest ones are the oil company’s.
