The report is gripping the nation like a global warming polar vortex trapped in place by the swirling toxic vapors emitted by a swarm of possessed SUVs.
The report contains claims of U.S. floods, droughts, severe weather, and heat waves, all of which are not unprecedented compared to centuries past, but are nevertheless known to be the fault of humans.
Ronald Wobbles, the report’s lead author, was quoted as saying (I am not making this up), “We’re already seeing extreme weather and it’s happening now”. This finding stands in stark contrast to 100 years ago, when ‘we saw extreme weather that was happening then’.

So today to launch his new campaign the President has invited a group of television Meteorologist to the White House to interview him on the topic. The barrage of publicity will be deafening. I deeply regret that the global warming/climate change thing has become a partisan political issue. Al Gore made global warming a Platform issue for the Democrat Party and it is now accepted without serious study or scientific consideration by a vast majority of liberals in this country. And, as politics goes, the Republican Party denies global warming because it is a key issue of the other party without even studying the science.

Radical environmentalism is the new home for Marxists. Control control control…..filter all the “solutions” proffered by the AGW crowd through that lens…..control. Science be damned, the masses must be controlled, shown what’s good for them because they’re unable to do whats good for the collective on their own.
I understand this is a forum of predominately scientists, and how you want the SCIENCE to determine the victor. But, to blithely ignore that everything in this world is dominated by the politics surrounding it is to play the part of the proverbial ostrich. This “Assessment” is exhibit A.

Remember, climate change is the greatest national security threat we face. Not Russia, not China, not a nuclear Iran nor transnational Islamist terrorism, but an angry, vengeful Mother Nature — sorry — Mother Gaia herself is the greatest threat we face.
Obama told us this in the last election but we were too concerned by outrage over’s Romney’s success to pay any attention to it.

If one reads the report,its says something totally different (H/T Pielke jr). Basically, it says the same as the IPCC AR5 and SREX, which said there were no trends in extreme weather
The NCA 2014 report says this:

“”lack of any clear trend in landfall frequency along the U.S. eastern and Gulf coasts”” (hurricanes)
“”Other trends in severe storms, including the intensity & frequency of tornadoes, hail, and damaging thunderstorm winds, are uncertain””
“”There has been no universal trend in the overall extent of drought across the continental U.S. since 1900″””

There is a Democrat full court press to try and get the American public’s mind off of their disastrous economic policies that have left many people without jobs or the hope of finding a job as the 2014 midterms loom. Good luck to them. No one’s watching Years of Living Dangerously or watching the president’s speeches. The issue hasn’t had much traction and has indeed slipped over the last several years. What better way to rally the troops then portray Republicans as right wing, bible thumping science deniers when you can’t point to anything good in your record?

Here is the answer I sent:
Nicely doctored to make you believe in warming. John, did you know that Hansen did not prove the existence of the greenhouse warming in 1988? What he did was to speak of a hundred year warming that proved the existence of greenhouse effect. As part of that hundred year greenhouse warming he listed the non-greenhouse warming that started in 1910 and stopped in 1940. There was no increase of carbon dioxide in 1910 and that means this warming is not greenhouse warming by the radiation laws of physics. Take that off of his warming below 1940 and you are left with a see-saw temperature curve: 25 years of cooling followed by 23 years of warming. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know that no way is this proof of the greenhouse effect. Nobody checked his science and he has been getting away with it for all these years. Among many notables he fooled is your person, John, spreading the pseudo-scientific fantasy of greenhouse warming. There is no warming now and there has been none for 17 years. This invalidates the Arrhenius greenhouse theory. The only theory that correctly explains it is the Miskolczi greenhouse theory (MGT). Brush up your math if you want to understand this.

This is an attempt to gin up the base in an attempt to avert what may be a disastrous November for the Democrats.
Who is winning the climate debate? I mean where it matters, not here. On the way to the NWO, the US, once the only super power left standing, is now little more than a hollow shell. Manufacturing and jobs long gone overseas, military scaled back, currency debauched, astronomical national debt, energy production crippled, morals corrupted, borders undefended, public education propagandized, lap dog MSM, democracy replaced by oligarchy, individualism demonized, militarized police and federal agencies, constitution dismantled. All orchestrated to bring about the collapse of this country. Many will cheer. In desperate straights it will then integrate into the new system willingly. Facts, reason, science have nothing to do with this. Don’t suppose those in power are stupid and incompetent; they are not. We can not vote our way out of this; the two party system is a sham. The tides of history are against us. We must wait for the pendulum to swing. Just kidding. Everything is fine.
