A friend at Curtin University, Western Australia reports that a new mysterious and imposing mural appeared on the facade. It is as if passers-by can look through the bricks and see a Saint-of-Science himself working.
The words on the plaque (which must be something like 5m wide) read “Inside our walls Professor Richard Warrick is continuing the climate change research that led to a Nobel Peace Prize. “

Wanted to email Prof Warwick and suggest that, out of embarrassment, he should tell the Uni to remove this Communist Era propaganda installation. Guess what? Unlike every other academic at Curtin Uni, there is no publicly accessible email address for the good professor. Pathetic, eh? Who the F%&k do these people think they are? Unbelievable.
I bet the other professors at the university feel invisible right about now.

I have not got time at the mo to investigate how accurate Warrick’s climate model software has been to date, it would been interesting to see how inaccurate his models have been to date.
Only thing better would be if this building was in the city of Jericho. And the walls came tumbling down…

When you are capable of presenting a reasoned argument instead of venting, your opinion might be taken more seriously.
Would have to vote that this is a different spin from Chairman and Fidel, but these guys are definitely positioning themselves as shamans. Mike would have us trust his “gut feelings” , the twinges in his gizzard. It is an interesting, but frightening study in sociology and anthropology.
