What is “dirty weather”?
It is when, in the near future, the countless lies of the climate liars and snake oil salesmen like Gore come home to roost, and the sh#t hits the fan. Don’t forget your umbrella.

I’m amazed it falls to me to mention Al Gore was on Jimmy Kimmel last night to push the show. I thought of posting, but I forgot I’d be giving the west coast 3h10m warning. You didn’t miss much. Well, the stuff before Al was moderately entertaining.
Al did stay it’s not too late to prevent the most dire consequences, so he’s still hoping you’ll donate to saving the world from demon carbon.

Al Gore was interviewed by ABC TV 7.30 Report tonight about the NSW bush fires being Climate Change related. He should be put in jail for his lies and propaganda. Since the fires started the ABC has relentlessly featured “the fires caused by Climate Change” every day. It is so obvious, it’s embarrassing. The only good thing is the majority of Australians are turning against the ABC which we, the taxpayers, fund. No effort is made to present the other side of the debate – their bias is juvenile. One of their prominent and biased hosts, Barry Cassidy of Insiders, is rumoured to lose his position on that show because of the number of complaints about him from the viewers/listeners/”shareholders”.

I see Yahoo Finance is flogging Al and his “reality” project. The finance page is the only Yahoo thing I look at, and it’s getting pretty liberal preachy – anybody have suggestions for a finance site with the basic financial info?

What are the odds on a bet that Obama stayed up all night watching the Gore-a-thon; zealously hanging on every doom and gloom moment? Also, what are the odds on a bet that he probably ordered his staff to watch it with him?
Damaged goods are Gore and his three stooges; Hansen, Oreskes and Revkin.

Why would anyone want to ever go to his site? Enlarge Gore’s ego past red-line? Let him transfer another million or two from the public into his pocket? I won’t give him even one DoubleClick.

Faye – the ABC prefers bloated Al to firefighter Tony. Well, Tony won the election. They are still in the stage where they can’t quite believe that it has happened.
I must say, putting pudgy Al on after the Suzuki debacle shows how desperate they are. What next, Michael Mann surfing at Bondi?

I have other interests including secular research in biblical archaeology.
Reading an issue of Biblical Archaeology Review May-June 2011, I started the article titled “The Birth & Death of Biblical Minimalism”.
In the mid-1980s the principal argument involved the dating of the final writing of the text of the Hebrew Bible. The minimalist school claimed then that it had been written only in the Hellenistic period, nearly 700 years after the time of David and Solomon, and that the Biblical descriptions were therefore purely literary.
That position has fallen, however and the minimalists reacted in panic, described as “Paradigm-Collapse Trauma and manifesting itself in “literary compilations of groundless arguments masquerading as scientific writing, through footnotes, references and publication in professional journals”.
Wow, thought I! Exactly the descriptions for Al Gore’s & Michael Mann’s situations. Self fulfilling prophecies, if ever I wanted examples. That’s all folks!

According to the cost of carbon tool here in the hills of Mid Wales, on a Watershed (Cambrian Mountains) near the sources of the rivers Wye and Severn we are about to suffer from drought, flooding and landslides.
Also the “24 hours of Reality” drivel in the background saying that the 1st world should look to Africa for solutions to CAGW. Wonder what they’re smoking?

The cost of carbon????????????
“World Is Spending $1 Billion Per Day To Tackle Global Warming”
http://www.thegwpf.org/world-spending-1-billion-day-tackle-global-warming/
“The world invested almost a billion dollars a day in limiting global warming last year, but the total figure – $359 billion – was slightly down on last year, and barely half the $700 billion per year that the World Economic Forum has said is needed to tackle climate change.”

Dear Moderator and Anyone Whom I Offended,
Please forgive me for my offending you by being sexist in my post at 9:47pm on 10/22. I’ll try to be more careful from now on.
Not that it excuses me, but, sometimes I feel like this site is a little sexist at times by its allowing the posting by commenters of certain pejoratives about women and videos of scantily clad women weatherpersons and the like. I haven’t said anything and I’m not going to start saying anything when I see it in the future, but, it sure doesn’t make me, a female, feel welcome here. I would not have even brought this up, now, but for my (being a bit defensive, lol) being called out for sexism above.
Anyway, this is a GREAT SITE. Thank you for moderating and for your care to make WUWT a place where all feel welcome.
Gratefully (and apologetically) yours,
Janice

I was not offended. I was amused. At times we have to laugh at ourselves, or die from being compulsively ill-humored.
Please do not stop being you.

Dear Monsieur Jourdan,
Thank you. I needed some encouragement. I was really ashamed of myself. I felt like I did when I was sent out into the hall for telling my second grade teacher that I thought chanting “Ta, ta, tee, tee, ta” for a music lesson was “dumb.” I deserved to be reprimanded, but it was embarrassing.
I’m so thankful that you (and, I think, most of the men on WUWT) have such a fine sense of humor.
BTW, glad to see you posting again this week after being absent for awhile. Hope all is well.
And, keep on being your wonderful self, too!
Merci beaucoup,
Janice

That hypothesis was as crazy as CACA, since parts of the Old Testament have been found in Ugarit, written in cuneiform script.

Janice, +1.
Freedom of expression includes the option of calling out misogynist jerks, even if they are Favourite Sons at WUWT. ; )

Hey, Johanna! (high-five) You — go — girl! I read you. My general policy is ignore-and-avoid, but, lol, if I ever come across another one …. I will certainly do that ….. for the sake of truth and for the morale of us females. It will, of course, have ZERO impact on the jerk, as you no doubt are well aware.
FYI — To anyone: there was no such “jerk” encountered on this particular thread.

Well, it turned out that I was the only live person commenting. I thought I was reading comments of a bunch of idiots and suckers, but they were ALL fake and part of the show. I was watching a movie and I thought it was live.
