Your outright win is important.
Scaremongers wrongly assert that consensus has importance in determining truth. Your outright win allows their false assertion to be turned against them; i.e.
If consensus indicates truth then your outright win demonstrates the truths that
(a) WUWT provides the best information about climate change on the web
while
(b) web sites such as SkS and RC that purvey misinformation are rightly ignored except by a small, misguided coterie of deluded cranks.
Actually, those statements are truths. Their validity is not decided by consensus, but those statements cannot now be denied by those who wrongly assert that consensus defines truth.

Tremendous thanks to you Anthony, because without you we might not have made it through Global Warming, or survived man- made Climate Change or Climate Disruption. I’m sure we’ll have no trouble outlasting man-made Extreme Weather Events, with all our practice whuppin’ those other dangers.

This is a bigger achievement than receiving the Nobel Prize these days (hundreds of climate scientists have those up on their walls). I’m amazed that your blog has won these in the face of the massive political, university institutional and MSM weight on the side of of climate armageddon. It shows that the real numbers are those of a largely silent majority. of thinking folks This is a wonderful spirit builder for me and the other little guys.

The articles are always enlightening and thought provoking and the commentators bring a certain vitality, speed and immediacy to all that goes on here. It is the comments , that flow past like a river, that we see first and across all topics that I thoroughly enjoy. Surprisingly, considering the wide range of skill,culture, experience and temperament, that we see here there are very few comments requiring snips or caution.
Our host is to thank for allowing his character to shape WUWT into the phenomenon it is today. It is Anthony’s steady hand and vision that guides us and, like our moderating, he guides with a light and deft touch.

This is a great achievement Anthony. I couldn’t help noting that even on the Guardian site covering this http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/blog/2013/mar/01/climate-sceptics-capture-bloggies-science there are a number of rational contributors who see the benefit of WUWT.
Yes I know that the normal cabal of insane know-nothings were also strutting about using words they clearly don’t understand over there but they do stand out as very foolish fops.
