[Snip. Sorry, completely off topic. ~dbs, mod.]
I didn’t take this pic, but I’ve always liked it.
I like this one, too.
And of course there’s this weather pic. And this one.
Over and out.
I’m biting my tongue on this one. Time to remote into my images server.
Good luck, the software for my new Vivitar camera wouldn’t load.
I will never submit!
I’m workin on it boss. I’m just a little shagged out after a long squawk. That election was murder on my nerves. I will comply. Soon. Must. Sleep…… zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
“In Arabic, the word “Islam” means submission or surrender”

Interesting change in the term. Of course let’s not forget the Apostle Paul, “Submit yourselves to Christ therefore”..or Islam your self to Christ.
I’m sure all the prophets have plenty of WEATHER fotos to submit.
Smokey, Smokey, Smokey.
You never say “over and out”. If you’re expecting a response, it’s simply “over”. It you’re finished with the converation, it’s “out”. “Over and out” basically means “talk to me-shut up”, at least that’s how my Drill Instructor put it.
Beautiful plumage, though. Comes from pining, I hear.
Are weather related videos allowed ?
[Sure. ~dbs, mod.]
Great result for Canada! Common sense winning over? The only thing that made me sad was seeing the Greens actually win one (1) seat, Still a little work to do then!
I’ve always thought this the best example of where weather tracking technology sometimes hints at some of Man’s greater achievements…

REPLY: Nope, not a contrail, not an echo, just a plain old communications failure in the scan line transmission of the satellite image…seen hundreds of them that look just like this one. GOES satellite uses a stepping IR scanner, and sometimes the scan line develops a glitch during the transmission. As proof, have you ever seen a plane follow and maintain an exact latitude for that long? Sorry. It’s just noise. not a super secret plane contrail. – Anthony
Jeff Alberts,
I say ‘shut up’ to no commentators on this [un-censored] Best Science site. Thanks for the lesson in Drill Instructor protocol…
…Over.
Smokey,
Roger that.
Out
😉
This is a 10sec. interval time lapse video of a passing storm cell, when the second cell approached, dumped heaps of rain and forced the camera indoors. It is a little rough around the edges, but you don’t know just when you will be lucky with what you capture. About 2.5 hours of filming (sounds old fashioned now!) and I allowed sunset to provide a fade-out.
I got a great one of Spiderman if that’ll help.
The title of “Submissions needed” Says it all.
I always said 10-4 and shut off the radio; and promptly did what I was going to do in the first place.
sorry mod but snips just get the radio turned off

Take a look at the front home page of the UK Times right now and the photo of the brush fires around the base of windmills – bonefire of the vanities.

The other two used are “Roger” and “Wilco”. Roger only means recieved the message and wilco means will comply.
Just completely off -topic. I’m looking for an article that was in WUWT some months ago. The article concerned (I think) Vostock CO2/ Temperature ice- core reconstructions. And the amazing thin was at the end of the article there was ANOTHER hide- the decline moment.
The past several decades CO2 reconstruction from the borehole showed a decline in borehole CO2 reconstructed atmospheric readings which contradicts Mauna Loa measurements of CO2 in the atmosphere and in the article was a graph presented by a warmist “climate researcher” where he had done a “hide the decline” and simply pasted the last few decades Mauna Loa CO2 data on the end.
Does anyone have this in their bookmarks?? on the off- chance?
I have searched for hours through past WUWT articles and not found it.
many thanks
regards
John
Not my submission, more of a ‘tip’ to an interesting presentation.
Jason Kirkby gives an hour-long presentation on the CLOUD experiment at CERN. (Trying to pin down the Svensmark effect at the atomic level.)
Good graphics, good clear exposition by a particle physicist who came to the subject without any particular bias.
