Behold a travesty.
I can claim of having been the first one to write about the (unbearable) NAKEDNESS of climate change
Where is his feet of clay.
“The fact is that we can’t account for [it] . . . at the moment and it is a travesty we can’t.
Anthony:
Subjecting a scientist of dignity and repute, such as Dr. Trenberth, to derogation and belittlement, by means of tawdry double entendres is really beyond the pale….No,really I’m serious…Really I am…No, really….ROTFLMAO!
P S Do I Really need a sarc tag for this? Really?
I am glad you call this . . ALMOST Funny Friday

It was interesting that Trenberth’s AMS paper had two cartoons at the end. I have reworked and animated one of those cartoons, which you can see here…

It’s the Emperor’s Trenberthday suit.
Me thinks his weather ‘instrument’ should quickly fade with the cold weather…
It would be quite fun to meet Trenberth socially. Some conversational gambits suggest themselves:
“Is that “Travesty” Trenberth?”
“Found the missing heat yet?”
It’s a pity he didn’t use Mike’s Nature trick…
Much ado about nothing. And I do mean NOTHING!
I note that Josh has tastefully hidden the decline.
I’m impressed with Josh’s excellent art work over at cartoonsbyjosh.com

True, but yours didn’t make me lol.
Puts a new meaning to Kevin (I looked here, I looked there, I could not find it anywhere) Trenberth.
Talk about funny, has anyone seen The Hill article about Trenberth e l letter to congress.

Is it my perception or does the Emperor look quite effeminate?
It’s a travesty that they can’t find his missing clothes.
from the letter signed by Trenberth et al at http://thehill.com/blogs/e2-wire/677-e2-wire/141453-scientists-put-aside-politics-and-focus-on-climate-science
So if Trenberth can’t account for the lack of warming, he doesn’t want anyone else to account for the lack of warming either, and it’s a travesty that he wants to gag skeptics on false premises.
Peer review revealed that something was missing.

Yes, you do. Until I got to the end of the comment I didn’t know it was sarcasm myself.
==================================
“Does my North Atlantic Oscillation look big in this?”
Apparently, glaciers aren’t the only thing shrunk by global warming. Of course, it could just be a result of the missing heat.
Josh’s funniest one yet
Josh,
Delicious! It would best be served with a cabernet sauvignon
because of the significant amount of backside meat involved.
John
Think of the children!™
the volcan may provide his missing warmth:-)
maybe he should do an IN depth exploration of it?
To all the WUWT commenters …… too, too funny!
Here I am, sitting at my breakfast table freezing to death in the “sunny southland”, scouring WUWT looking for some hopeful sign that I won’t be “freezing to death” for some time to come, and instead come across this hilarious cartoon & comments.
The energy spent laughing my head off has warmed me considerably! “much ado about nothing”, “tastefully hidden the decline”, “pity didn’t use Mike’s nature trick” …. Ha! whoohoo! whewww! … inhale …. breath … lol.
Having his “weather ‘instrument’ fade with the cold weather” couldn’t happen to a more deserving guy, in my humble, albeit vindictive, opinion.
