Bilderberg Group discusses "Global Cooling" at 2010 meeting

James Delingpole has found something interesting:

He writes:

Bilderberg. Whether you believe it’s part of a sinister conspiracy which will lead inexorably to one world government or whether you think it’s just an innocent high-level talking shop, there’s one thing that can’t be denied: it knows which way the wind is blowing. (Hat tips: Will/NoIdea/Ozboy)

At its June meeting in Sitges, Spain (unreported and held in camera, as is Bilderberg’s way), some of the world’s most powerful CEOs rubbed shoulders with notable academics and leading politicians. They included: the chairman of Fiat, the Irish Attorney General Paul Gallagher, the US special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Richard Holbrooke, Henry Kissinger, Bill Gates, Dick Perle, the Queen of the Netherlands, the editor of the Economist…. Definitely not Z-list, in other words.

Which is what makes one particular item on the group’s discussion agenda so tremendously significant.

The 58th Bilderberg Meeting will be held in Sitges, Spain 3 – 6 June 2010. The Conference will deal mainly with Financial Reform, Security, Cyber Technology, Energy, Pakistan, Afghanistan, World Food Problem, Global Cooling, Social Networking, Medical Science, EU-US relations.

Yep, that’s right. Global Cooling. Which means one of two things. Either it was a printing error.

Or the global elite is perfectly well aware that global cooling represents a far more serious and imminent threat to the world than global warming, but is so far unwilling to admit it except behind closed doors.

Let me explain briefly why this is a bombshell waiting to explode.

On the topic of global cooling – following on from recent cattle deaths in South America from cold – this from new Zealand:
http://tvnz.co.nz/national-news/snow-hit-farmers-call-help-3795585
Coldest spring since 1972, thousands of stock deaths mainly of lambs.
Of course nothing in the MSM – I searched the BBC for New Zealand and found only Peter Jackson’s pay dispute with actor unions about making of the film “The Hobbit”.

Good to see someone noticed.
I pointed out this very same thing right here on WUWT in the week following the BB summit.
I don’t think it even got one comment.

Anthony,
I accept your “damned if I do, damned if I don’t” explanation, but suggest that you could have put a disclaimer in your original post stating specifically that you did not support or endorse Dillingpole’s offensive call for a “a ‘Global Warming’ Nuremberg.”
You might consider this approach if a similar situation arises in the future.

To all those who believe this site is a spoof, I would like to point out that there are very real reasons why it is not:
1. It appeared on the Sunday before the conference ended showing this list which has been confirmed by cross-referring to the photos of the delegates leaving Monday am (taken by the enterprising Quierosaber – they’re all over the web). There was no list available before this so if it did happen to be a hoax it was carried out by conference insiders anyway.
2. The existence of an official Bilderberg website has been confirmed by 2010 participant Olaf Scholz who referred people to it subsequently when answering questions on a German political website.
