Boxer's global warming hearing gets cold reception

Sen. Barbara Boxer went ahead with the markup hearing on her global warming bill this morning despite the absence of all but one Republican (George Voinovich). She sat alone during markup doing nothing for 15 minutes. Michelle Malkin obtained photos. See below.

Yes Ma’am. No Ma’am. I see “Senator” is not getting respect. No Ma’am.
She was livid. I could feel the scorthing from hear.

Voinovich showed up to read a statement telling boxer that the rest of the GOP senators would not show up as a protest of the bill. Then he left.

350,000 pages of ‘proof’ that nobody in their right mind is going to touch with a political 10 foot pole. Boxer didn’t get the meaning of the polls yesterday.
This is what you get when you stop listening.

You gotta hand it to her, she’s really going down with the ship.

So today Granny Barb approved the climate bill without one minority member voting.
Max Baucus the only senator voting no.

But how do we know that that CD contained anything other than old “Barney” songs?
The bill was eventually voted out of her committee, WITHOUT the minimun of 2 minority votes. However, Baucus voted against the bill leaving committee. Baucus’ main issue seems to have been the impact of the bill on Dems from coal states. What I am not sure of is if it will end up in Baucus’ Finance Committee, if it does it could linger there for a bit. http://business.theatlantic.com/2009/11/climate_bill_passes_senate_committee_without_republicans_or_baucus.php

Perhaps some people are begining to realize that they have been hoodwinked.
Sunspots caused all of global warming. The analysis, which accurately reproduces the average global temperatures of the 20th century and so far in the 21st century, is in a pdf at http://climaterealists.com/index.php?tid=145&linkbox=true .

Think of her as Barbara Boxer Shorts.
It helps.
