Bye the bye the size of Australias contribution under the Copenhagen treaty looks about $7 bn a year this is getting some attention on blogs here.
It would appear that the US liability under the same treaty would be about $138 bn a year is any mention of this appearing in American blogs or media.

As a reformed warmest, I’m gratified to have a forum that allows for sketicism to flourish. I think a lot of folks out there are probably like me – they care a great deal about the environment, but have never taken the time to critically read any of the actual science (not that they have much science training), and have been bombarded and overwhelmed by the AGW propaganda machine. You provide a valuable counterpoint to the overheated rhetoric.
The door opened a crack for me this summer when I first read a ‘hockey stick’ article published in the mainstream press. I was a little shocked to be honest, because mainstream press articles critical of AGW are few and far between. This piqued my interest, which led to your site (my favorite), among others.
We have a long road ahead of us I fear. Please keep leading, I’ll be following.
I’ve been coming to your site every day for the past 3 months and I am sooooo energized by your articles and the ensuing comments. I can’t thank you enough for offering people a site where we can learn about globull warming/climate change and what the intellectuals are planning for us poor unwashed masses. Sorry to be a downer Anthony, but my site gets 2.5 mil hits a month and turns over 68 gig of data, cos we include pics, – no , not porn, just a subject that is equally fascinating to the participants.

Congrats on your site performance. It’s apples & oranges, though, comparing a large commercial enterprise that has been in existence for almost twenty years with WUWT, which started in late 2006. The relevant comparison is WUWT vs all other climate related sites, both alarmist and skeptic.
Is TGP IT the same company as TGP.com?
Yes, this is the only hockey stick that seems scientifically valid. Congratulations, Anthony, and kudos for your ability to enable so many knowledgeable and intelligent (and, maybe, opinionated) people from all walks of life and from around the world to work together for science and responsible public policy.
Woops, I am a little late with my subscription. It’s on its way for the last quarter. Oh, subscriptions? Much better, and more dependable than a tip jar. What I learn from WUWT is worth more than many of the mag-journal subscriptions I maintain. How about others?
