Live at 1 pm ET: Good News: Climate Cult In Decline — The Climate Realism Show #184

The Heartland Institute

The Heartland Institute

The signs are all around us. The climate cult is losing its grip on our politics and culture. The UN’s climate conference, COP30 in Brazil, was a flop that even the alarmist cheerleaders in the legacy media could not ignore. A major paper justifying radical climate action was just retracted. The Sierra Club is shedding a shocking number of members. And when was the last time you saw climate alarmist propaganda shoved annoyingly into your favorite TV show or movie – which was very common not so long ago?

The Heartland Institute’s Jim Lakely, Anthony Watts, Sterling Burnett, and Linnea Lueken will be joined by special guest and fan favorite Steve Milloy of Junkscience.com. We will also cover some of the Crazy Climate News of the Week, including an exodus from EPA, what climate policy failure looks like in graph form, perhaps the cringiest moment in COP history, and Donald Trump’s call to have those who have pushed climate alarmism investigated.

Join us LIVE at 1 p.m. ET on YouTube, Rumble, X, and Facebook.

Wrong forum – but for awkward comic relief one can watch FIFA bestow a world peace medal to DJT on behalf of socialist Europe around now. It’s highly entertaining to watch a room full of New York liberal soccer fans try to be their true selves in el presidente’s presence. Leads one to wonder, if this is the way it was going to go, then why would said institution get itself involved in handing out peace medals?

The world’s greatest con game is fracturing all around.

“… [W]hen was the last time you saw climate alarmist propaganda shoved annoyingly into your favorite TV show or movie …

For that matter, when was the last time we heard from Dr Phil Jones, or Trenberth, or Briffa, or that guy at Lawrence Livermore Labs who changed the IPCC final report to state that the fingerprint of anthropogenic global warming had been found?

Of course, there is still one Climategate star who regularly lets us know what he is thinking. But when has he, or his graduate students, published anything new?

Phil Jones retired in 2016; Keith Briffa died in 2017. So neither of them has had anything to publish for a decade.

Gavin Schmidt said “It’s humbling, and a bit worrying, to admit that no year has confounded climate scientists’ predictive capabilities more than 2023 has.” He went on to say “Our eyebrows at this point were rolling over the top of our heads.”

At least “Gavin Schmidt, NASA’s top climate scientist,” is still proudly waving the “it’s worse than we thought. We’re all Doomed!” flag.

Ignorant and gullible, but supremely self confident.

Admitting they cannot predict El Nino events…

… which just happen to be the source of the only warming in the UAH atmospheric data.

Climate models have ZERO predictive ability whatsoever.

It’s still on NPR daily along with non stop hatred of Trump, his administration and all his policies. All day every day. I wouldn’t mind if occasionally somebody offered an opinion on that station against Trump but there absolutely NEVER is any commentary in favor of Trump and his policies. And yet NPR always says its not biased.

For laughs I tried to fact check… NPR is confirmed by AI and other sources to be centrist… along with CBS and Business Insider. The League of Women Voters produces a nice graphic that made me ask “who would make such a silly graphic, and for whom would they make it?”

So, as I barely understand the structure of NPR, there is the national programs and the local programs. I believe in some areas, the local programming is much better and maybe centrist. Certainly not in the Northeast. I get 2 channels. The one from Albany is extremely far left- all day every day. The other is from Amherst and their local programming is not so bad- often plays classical music and other non political stuff. The one in Albany- when Trump lost in 2016, it wouldn’t let up its hatred of Trump. I’m not a super Trump fan though I like many of his policies. But, that Albany channel continued with the Trump hatred and I thought that was stupid- Trump lost and time to move on. But no, the same all day every day- so I emailed the honcho there who set up that station, Alan Chartock and told him he should lighten up. He didn’t like that and wrote back telling me to apologize! I wrote back and told him to **** ***. 🙂
