Live at 1 p.m. ET: The Pain in Spain Is Renewably Insane – The Climate Realism Show #155

The Heartland Institute

.
The Heartland Institute

In mid-April, Spain’s socialist government bragged that, for the first time, the nation was powered by 100 percent “renewable” energy—mostly solar and wind. One week later, Spain, Portugal, parts of France, and several other countries suffered the largest peacetime blackout in their histories. Net Zero came to Europe all right—as in zero energy. We were perhaps seconds away from nearly the entire continent going dark. Yet again, wind, solar, and other “renewables” proved they simply cannot generate the consistent power needed to keep a complex electricity grid stable. We’ve been warning about this for a while, and today we’ll break down exactly what happened.

The Heartland Institute’s Sterling Burnett, Anthony Watts, Linnea Lueken, and Jim Lakely will also cover some “Crazy Climate News of the Week,” including the federal government scrapping the so-called “social cost of carbon,” NASA’s climate-alarmism office above the Seinfeld diner getting shut down, and a newly minted map of climate anxiety.

We discuss all this and more on Episode 155 of The Climate Realism Show. Watch the stream LIVE at 1 p.m. ET, and jump into the chat with your comments and questions!

The more people see lamp posts that don’t provide illumination, the more they will remember, ahem, the traditional way to re-purpose the lamp posts. And by now Europe is not exactly sleepy and complacent at the best times.

We are seeing the denouement of the climate change scam. Some will take longer to admit it but eventually they will. Failures of renewables, high energy costs, restrictions on what you can buy, sell, do, and constant shaming for those that don’t comply, add up to disillusionment for the faithful.

Wind power blows. And when it doesn’t, it’s sucking the money from our bank accounts.

Heartland should hold their next ICCC in Utah next winter at the Cliff Lodge where we can also get in morning skiing, followed by afternoon and evening climate discussions. Preferably during a storm cycle with interlodge/avalanche warnings and powder skiing.

Now once again, why all the pain?
The pain in Spain is to a scam maintain.

By Jove, I think you’ve got it!

The pain in Spain is to a scam maintain.

That’s right! You’ve finally got it!

Now once again, who stands to gain?
The wind and solar scammers can’t explain.

And why that blasted pain?
The wind and solar scammers are our bane.

The purpose of all that intermittently nonfunctional infrastructure is to stop THIS:

The “climate crisis” is a scam. It is nothing but FUD-based marketing, by the parasitic muti-trillion dollar climate industry. The scientific evidence is compelling that manmade climate change is modest & benign, and CO2 emissions are beneficial, not harmful:

The purpose(s) of net zero is obvious.

Make rich people richer by using taxpayer funds to build electrical and CO2 capture systems that will never be reliable.

Make the common people poorer by high energy costs so they can freeze in the dark.

It’s really all about control and who is in control.

The remaining common people after an energy apocalypse will be tied to the land or starve.
