Are you trying to say that millions of people have never migrated before?
The U.S. has seen an influx of over 12 million just in the past few years. Quite a number of them passed through hotter regions to get to our borders instead of just going south toward the Antarctic. Some came from cooler regions like Canada to get to the comfortable climes of the U.S. where they can get tremendous benefits for breaking our laws.
Bill Gates is proof positive that rich guy can be ignorant about many subjects but still think his opinions and statements are worth considering.

It’s strange that I have never met a single climate refugee here in sunny Scotland. If the climate alarmists were right, Scotland should be crammed with them. The only explanation that I can think of is that climate alarmists are lying their heads off as usual.
Here in the US, we have a steady migration from deep blue northern states to red southern states. I guess those people just don’t believe in climate change.
Most migrations are caused by wars, dictatorship, bad policies causing poverty and low life expectancy. Current modern climate optimum has nothing to do with that.
Illegal migration to the UK is driven almost entirely by the generous benefits funded by the British taxpayer.

The thing making 16,200,000 people migrate across Africa is Islam not ‘Climate Change’. Unfortunately, there is no easy solution to the effect of Islam. For ‘Climate Change’ the easy solution is to realise that it is not caused by CO2, it is caused by good old variable weather.

The “experts” have ignored the true “climate refugees” for decades. It all started in America about the start of the 20th century more or less. Americans and Canadians to escape the cold winters of the northeast have been heading to Florida in the summer. In the west, many in the 19th century were advised to go to the southwest to seek relief from respiratory ailments, including consumption (tuberculosis) which seemed to help.
For decades in Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas, we call them “Snowbirds”, folks from Canada and the northern states of the US who flee to warmer climates to escape the cold winters. So even venture into Mexico and as far as Central America to escape the cold and dark winters up north.
Yet despite the obvious, MSM and “experts and scientists” fail to make the connection hoping to find a migration heading north to escape the warming. That does happen. In California, we head to the Sierra or the coast to escape the heat, just like we have forever. In the east, others head to the Carolina hills. Same in the flyover country for a lesser extent when many head to the highlands of the Rockies for their vacations in the summer.
It’s just human nature to want to cool off when it’s hot or to seek a warmer clime when it gets cold and dark.
