ClimateTV LIVE at 1PM EDT -Hottest Summer Ever? NOT! PLUS – Mann’s Court Appearance!

On Climate Change Roundtable, we take a stand against selective information portrayal, examining the contexts often omitted in mainstream climate discussions. This week, we’re covering the go-to media hottest ever narrative parroted after every summer. And, we’ll have special guest Marc Morano on to discuss Mann’s court appearance in the decade old Mann vs Steyn case this week.

The media has been quick to dub this the ‘hottest summer on record’, but what does that truly mean in the vast timeline of Earth’s climatic history? The referenced record composes the last 150 years, a misleading statement outright. And during this time, Earth is recovering from the Little Ice Age, further skewing the data. When you look at the Earth’s entire history, temperatures are well within norms. We discuss issues with the temperature record, misleading language, and highlight objective data.

An Unexpected Ally in Michael Mann When figures like Michael Mann, known for the hockey stick chart, begin to voice concerns about the media’s alarmist take on climate change, it’s an indicator that the discourse might be veering off course. We’ll discuss his recent tweet that underscores the exaggerated stance of corporate media on climate-related issues.

So check out episode 84 of “Climate Change Roundtable,” with host Anthony Watts, panelists H. Sterling Burnett and Jim Lakely, and special guest Marc Morano, founder of ClimateDepot.com. Tune in LIVE at Noon CT/1 PM ET this Friday for an insightful discussion. And be sure to leave your questions during the show for the weekly question and answer segment. There’s always more questions than time, so leave us a Super Like and we guarantee yours is addressed.

Meter Smart: You stupid…

Milliband knows net zero about energy, engineering, climate science or economics – yet next year he may be the UKs Energy & Net Zero Minister!

Sheer incompetence, dressed as salvation, Ed, a life long socialist, leads a very privileged life, he could no doubt afford nut zero, although no doubt he doesn’t own a battery car, heat pump, or have a wind & solar farm in his back yard – the country is well & truly stuffed if this idiot gets the power handles

Like the EU still buying Russian oil, albeit via India at 4x the cost, these champagne socialists are the real danger to humanity

“”the discourse might be veering off course””

This stood out

“”Australia is already an energy superpower. We should be using that to drive the world towards renewables””
https://www.theguardian.com/business/grogonomics/2023/oct/19/australia-is-already-an-energy-superpower-we-should-be-using-that-to-drive-the-world-towards-renewables

Can it be true?

It can try real hard but good luck driving China and India towards renewables.

In reality, it is just barely the warmest summer during the time period they are interested in looking at.

But that’s only after adjusting the data to better fit the narrative they want to push.

The debate is, to use a phrase, hotting up!

October 20, 2023 4:26 pm

The media has been quick to dub this the ‘hottest summer on record’..

Erm, that’s because it was the hottest northern hemisphere summer in the instrument temperature record, according to every global temperature data set, including UAH. Like it says on the tin, ‘on record’.

Maybe in the distant past, when our tripod ancestors were tentatively emerging from shallow swamps, it was a bit warmer; but that doesn’t really help us today, does it?

It is COOLER now than for most of the last 10,000 years.

The world is at best “TEPID” at the moment.

How much warmer must it have been for large trees to have grown where now there are glaciers?

You keep saying it, though it is not true. Try REMSS Northern Hemisphere.

And that’s only since 1979.

If that’s true, why do the alarmist shills fiddle, sorry, adjust temperature records? Altering data to make your point, like generating models based on biased inputs, is rather corrupt

Well I am definitely looking forward to reading about Mann’s appearance in court. I found it highly amusing when the judge threw out all of Mann’s ‘expert’ witnesses using the scientific principles as a necessary criteria – Mann has never used them in his life and Naomi Oreskes is actively against them! It will be interesting and, no doubt, entertaining.

I understand Mark Steyn is also still waiting for some truthful, unbiased facts & data to be presented by the plaintiff in his disappeared into the long grass court proceedings

Mark Steyn is positively salivating at the thought of getting Mann testifying under oath – he has enough accumulated evidence to disprove most of what Mann will likely come up with. We’ll see if Mann has the bottle to do it or if he runs away again.

Are there any court documents or links available about this Mann v Steyn hearing?
