James Cameron decides to scare people about climate at Halloween

I didn’t really have a point, Zeke, just ramblings from atop the Ozarks from the mountain man. Sorry about my low social skill, 4-5-600 miles a day of travel doesn’t give much time. I only ramble because Smokey snips it, left alone I’d probably long ago just went port side so your blood pressure doesn’t elevate.
No thanks to the sedition led by Ted Cruz, with the survival budget the United States of America will get past its gravest crisis since the near Oligarch takeover during the Great Depression, or from Civil War … by basically the same Oligarchs. I suppose if you count Cruz as an agent of Imperial Canada the attempted overthrow could be treason instead of sedition.
Conservatives were vehemently opposed to freeing the slaves. It is interesting to note that, in 1860, the Democrats were the conservatives, while the Republicans were the left-leaning radicals.
Lincoln believed that rich Americans should pay more than their less wealthy friends and neighbors.
In shear numbers, more Americans died during the Civil War than in all other American Wars combined, of course this total includes the deaths of Confederates. It’s totally appropriate that the Tea Party wave the traitors flag Stars & Bars in defiance of the twice elected black President.

Conservatives vehemently warned us that it was unnatural to rebel to our Sovereign Lord, King George III, and that doing so would plunge the colonies into disorder.  They assured us, as the father of Conservatism, Edmund Burke echoed, that social stability would only come from the small group of wealthy aristocrats ruling over the poor majority.  Conservatives reiterated that it was the duty of the poor to obey their “betters.”  Their rewards, after all, will come in Heaven.
Conservatives burned the houses of liberal soldiers and drove their families into the forest, ten percent of Americans died from this carnage before the United States came to be.
Thanks to the $24 billion exercise in Sedition the Sept jobs numbers came in nearly three weeks late. The 148,000 new jobs created last month were more than twice the rate of new workers entering the workforce, and you have workers leaving into retirement at a higher than normal rate with the peak of the Baby Boomers leaving for the rocking chair. This is basically what’s pushing down the unemployment rate and not huge numbers of ‘discouraged’ workers the media likes to talk about. Although a lot of older folks would keep working if they could find a decent job. We can’t all be paid blog personalities in our twilight years like Smokey.
The best estimate for the economic damage from the right wing Sedition is a 0.25% reduction in GDP or about $40b per year for the foreseeable future, that is until the economy fully recovers from its current slump. The Republicans have already hindered GDP growth by one percentage per year for the three years that they’ve controlled the House. They are currently cutting output by 3% or about half a trillion dollars each year and the damage continues to build.
All but the most stupid of Republican leaders know that this is the effect that they’re having on the economy. You can tell because they create talking points that say exactly the opposite.

Another academy award he is chasing? I think he forgets that submarine volcanic vents create chemosynthesis conditions and where there is no sunlight these represent early life of this planet when they adjusted to no photosynthesis. Oh Well, I watched some joker talk about how we are killing the planet etc., and while studying film at University, we learned that people are attracted ie. the likely audience, to genre that interest them. Well obviously the audience he will attract will be alarmists and the IPCC. Only the believers and most will watch out of interest I suspect. Giving them the confidence to copy and quote his beliefs. He is a smart film maker, he knows he will have a large audience qualifying the expense of the movie. Let’s hope it gets poor reviews.

This movie should really seal it ….the zenith of scaring and crying wolf …..btw Jaymam …..James Cameron buying land in NZ is sort of ironic giving the recent bout of earthquakes that have been occurring there …good luck to him …

Jimmy, You got that one wrong.
You should be saying: “If Your doctor lied to You, telling You that You had a terminal, malignant illness, and 99% of all doctors did the same, would You trust Obamacare?”
Well, alas, this is the case of Your so-called climate scientists. They are paid to tell us that something is wrong with the climate system, and that mankind is to blame, even if it is a lie. This is the core of the IPCCs mission.
Would You, James Cameron, trust a doctor who was paid to make You believe that your lifestyle, no matter how healthy, would lead to lung-cancer, heart failure or alzheimers? And if he or her was also paid to falsify all health test You supposedly took, or to tell You that a cold or a pimple on Your nose would lead to Your imminent death, would You trust it? These are the inner workings and methods of Your so-called climate scientists.
So, Jimmy boy, if You should ever get a symptom of any kind, a sunburn, a scratch or something … And Your trusted doctor would present Your diagnosis the same way Your climate ‘scientist’ would, if I were You, I think I really would be getting a second opinion.
Be a mensch man, don’t do this series.
