Keep up the good work!
Despite the activity here, there was but one sunspot in July. The sun is yet slumbering.

When you hit a million, I think you ought to throw one heck of a big party.
How about a Debate’s Over Party?
And by all means, do send the folks at RC an invitation!
Perhaps the readers here have a better idea for celebrating this upcoming milestone.

It’s a family blog. My ideas are not “appropriate”.

Congrats, Anthony.
The blog is great and highly educational. Not agenda driven, but data driven…

Yes, this site is very informative, and keeps the playing field level. Even if it isn’t heard by policy makers. But it is heard by hard-working, honest Americans. This is a comment I left at Real Climate Friday, August 1, at 1PM MDT:
REPLY: Ken there was not comment in the posting, FYI. I don’t know what happened to it but it is not in the oroginal message you submitted.

Two months ago a similar posting yielded 28 comments, last month that was up to 45 comments, and this newest posting is already up to 57 (and counting) comments. You’re reaching a tipping point.

Congrats again! However, I cannot find the line that shows the “1979-2000 average” with which I can compare the current figures

I was just reading your thread on Viscount Monckton, and found that the posts just tailed off. What happened? Has he been arrested for copyright violations by publishing a private communication from a real scientist? Has the APS admitted his paper received extensive scientific peer review?
Lots of sound and fury, and now… nothing?
Your graph reminds me of the famous PT Barnum quote. When asked what should happen if he should ever run out of suckers, he replied:
“There’s a new one born every second.”

Ah darnit. The comment didn’t post. If those folks at Real Climate cared about anyone else’s voice, then I should be able to find my comment. I will give it a couple of hours, but frankly…my faith in the moderator over there is minimal. They don’t seem to find appreciation in debate. Like they are too stuck up or afraid. We, on the other hand, can learn from our wrongs…in order to improve our stance on issues such as this. That is sensibility.

Hi Anthony, just to add my voice & say congratulations. This is a great blog – usually I manage to check in a couple of times a day to see “Watts up” and am rarely disappointed.
Cheers!

Reading the above comments is more than just refreshing (with the exception of a few comments from the Pogies), it also indicates how support for the anthropogenic global warming hoax continues to unravel.
The Mysterious Climate Project (TMCP) of climate change tutorials now has over 115,000 subscribers, all of which have been obtained since May 2007. So it doesn’t surprise me that Anthony has such a large following. But Anthony’s following has a far greater diversity than anything he could ever have imagined, and I might add, anything I could ever hope for. From the novice to the expert, participants mingle like no other site on the ‘Net.
As author and editor of TMCP, I’ve found it an invaluable source of information including an abundance of incredible links to other resources.
Way to go, Anthony! Although you’ve censored me more than once, I still respect you and your judgement more than ever!

Hi,
Great Blog, thanks for taking the time to express your truths. It is truly appreciated, by all ( at least by me). Thanks for your hard work, as a fellow blogger I know the daily grind of publishing new, interesting items. Thanks again for you hard work.

You and jeez deserve the thanks. You do the work and we enjoy the results. I’m tired now but I’ll see about a more tangible form of appreciation tomorrow.

Seen the Alexa tracking numbers; here’s another one:
http://www.quantcast.com/profile/traffic-compare?domain0=realclimate.org&domain1=wattsupwiththat.wordpress.com&domain2=&domain3=&domain4=
If only we could see that chart w/o those two spikes in the first three months of the year. The difference between the two sites might be more pronounced.
