This year alone, they’ve spent $4 million on parties. NASA asked for, and was given, $1 billion more from the Senate this year. NASA proponents argue it makes more sense to give money to talented, productive people in exchange for scientific knowledge, than spend it on unproductive people in the form of straight welfare.”
I wonder if they have any photos of James Hansen dancing with a lampshade on his head? I also wonder if NASA GISS ever gets invited at all? I wonder if Gore throws GISS a party every time a new paper comes out?
I’ve got nothing against perks, but it does seem a bit excessive, 4 days in a 5 star hotel.
Gee, just think of what a few determined individuals could do with a fraction of that money.

Anthony did you see Steve’s deconstruction of the AIT thermometer? I bet you have. Think about this. Dr. Carter;s video that you linked to on this very blog has been distributed to at least three different non AGW websites. Now that it’s out there it will never go away.
Thopsons’ Thermometer is something that every AGW advocate is aware of. It’s instantly recognizable to millions of people – and none of them know it’s a fraud.
Imagine a video with a Carter like character walking us all through Climate Audit’s deconstruction of it. Don’t need sets – just use Al Gore’s DVD projected on a blue screen, and maybe a few insets of where the damn thing came from – Thompsons paper – maybe an overlay to show it’s the same crapola.

We got a TV writers strike. At the Movies you have a choice between a number of Bush Bash movies or a number of Troop Bash movies.
