What a way to say “Happy New Year!”

January 1, 2010 12:23 am

We’ve got not much to say, except thanks! 🙂

Anthony: And huge thanks to you in particular, to those other articulate contributors that you feature and to the ever faithful Moderators. You really are making a huge difference. And I love to see how rattled you get the AGW fanatics. Proudly I have been a daily (and usually more) visitor to WUWT since it was at a very low part of its proud ‘hockey stick’ ascendency. And Happy New Year to all, from a particularly sweaty and humid part of South Africa.

Yeah, best Science blog coming up again.
I just wish they would bring in reinforcements to try to argue for the monumental pieces of crap that are Steig et al. (2009) and Solomon et al. (2009).
I’m pretty sure that the take-down would qualify for best comedy blog too.

Thanks for all of the hard work that you have done to provide us with such valuable information. Please keep up the good work, and congratulations on the hockey stick.
Sorry to inform you though, the new millennium started on the first of January 2001, in spite of the hype that surrounded the previous year. The first day of the second decade will be the 1st of January 2011.

It’s -5C over here in rural Shropshire, but warmest greetings to all for a peaceful and truthful New Year.
WUWT remains an oasis of sanity, in a sea of nonsense. Your figures prove it.

Congratulations, Anthony, and also to the rest of the WUWT contributors. My very best wishes for 2010. And my sincere thanks for all you do and have done for the cause of rationality. You are truly a hero.
There is still a long way to go, of course. But we finish 2009 able to take some comfort in some of the victories, expected and unexpected, that have been achieved recently. The landscape regarding the climate change debate sure has changed a lot in the last couple of months!

Anthony
Congratulations.
I have become an avid reader of all the material on your site over the last 2 months or so – just to seek out the underlying facts on the global warming issue. It has been an enlightning exercise for me due to the hard work you and your team put in as well as your enlightened contrubtors determined research. Not to menton the wry humour that spices the pages!
You deserve to feel proud and justified.
