ClimateTV – Climate Facts: The Videos

On episode 110 of The Climate Realism Show, we are going to highlight some new ammunition for our side in the “climate war”, notably the website, Climate at a Glance which is now updated with videos and an app for your phone.

Research fellow, Linnea Lueken has produced several companion videos to go with each page at ClimateataGlance.com, we’ll preview the first two this week. Plus, we’ll discuss our new app.

Join host Anthony Watts, The Heartland Institute’s H. Sterling Burnett, and Linnea Lueken for the preview.

And, as always, we have the Crazy Climate News of the Week. Join us LIVE at 1 p.m. ET (12 p.m. CT) for the kind of climate realism you can’t find anywhere else, and join the chat to get your questions answered, too.

In the first few seconds of this video I heard Anthony say “climate debate”. I suggest there is no climate debate- or very, very little debate. Sure, a few here and there, but mostly off the public radar- nothing that gets discussed in the MSM or in peer reviewed journals- certainly not in the likes of Unscientific Unamerican. Any mention of those who don’t worship “the consensus” are portrayed as Trump loving deplorables, science deniers, climate deniers, all paid off by the ff companies. Ticks me off. I don’t love Trump but I love good science work- and I’ve worked out doors for 50 years. I see no climate emergency. But if I try to discuss/debate this with anyone in Wokeachusetts, they act as if I have leprosy.

That nails it. The stories in the major news media are largely exaggerations and lies. Bigger and bold with each passing years.

There is no longer any public debate. The “science is settled” just as wars are usually settled – with victory by one side.

Interestingly, when I discuss “climate” with the tradies and country people in my area, they almost unanimously agree that it is a complete farce.

People who spend most of their waking hours outdoors and aren’t noticing anything untoward going on with the usual weather cycles.

There seems to be a rural / city divide all around the world in observations about weather / climate.

One group experiences the real world 1st hand, the other gets told by their media feeds what’s supposed to be happening.

Same with the members of a scientific organisation that I belong to, and most importantly with the general public who come to its functions. But the leadership of the organisation have been hard-wired global warmingers (warmongers) until recently. I’m not sure where it’s headed now, hopefully towards scientific sanity.

Mind you, the tradies are getting more than a bit fed up with the incessant rain ! 🙁

WFH ! Stop it, at least for a week.. please. !

Got a couple of gorgeous rain-free days this week, but it is now raining again. 🙁

Just a note to Linnea. Another thing that coral critters don’t like, is being exposed to too much direct sunlight.

In El Nino years there is often a distinct drop in general sea surface levels which leads to more direct sunlight exposure, and the critters leave home…

This means the surface corals, the ones “seen” from low flying observation aircraft, appear bleached.

ps.. on a presentation note, maybe a bit too much screen make-up, lip-gloss etc on the videos.. only my opinion. 🙂

Cooling… doesn’t even GISS show some cooling since 2017 ? (until current El Nino)

UAH certain shows cooling since 2017…

The Heartland Institute should not use my Holocene temperature reconstruction figure and not cite me.

This reflects badly on them. Credit should be given where credit is due.
