This report presents and analyses the sea level data for 2024.  The year 2023 finished with the strong El Niño still causing faster increasing sea level rises but during 2024 the El Niño reduced considerably.  The rate of rise is now more stable at about 3.3 mm/year and the so called “acceleration” has resumed its downward trend.
