Oh well-with all his hilarious predictions he does not need to worry. He will have passed on by then! God save (us all from) the King!

Sooner than that if he doesn’t get the not-budging randy andy-pandy out of royal lodge. As a part of gentle persuasion as the first step his utilities are going to be cut off.

How does the joke go? Charles is in bed with Covid 19. Andrew is in bed with Sophie, 16?

This is very much o/t but not really a story tip either, and I don’t suppose that King Charlie III knows.
I have a look at the DMI Temperature North of 80‘ every few days. The last couple of months have been interesting as the feed failed for a couple weeks. So I noticed that this month the temperature rise has paused even dropped back a little. The DMI thoughtfully give links to previous on the same page. Looking at previous years it, this century only 2001, 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016 where something like this hasn’t happened in late April, early May. In earlier decades it wasn’t as common.
Does anyone know what causes this and why it has become more common in the last couple of decades?

It depends on what the weather’s like and how many air conditioners are switched on in NYC, Boston, Philly, Washington and other large New England cities – delayed by about a week or so while the Gulf Stream moves the UHI up the coast

There’s today’s task for any data-miners out there – correlate the orange spikes on that DMI graph to New England weather of a week or so previous

Hopefully it shows here…..

The “north of 80” temperature is highly influenced by the flow of air from the south so the ups and downs are an indicator of the chaotic nature of the “Arctic Front.”
If you look at many of the past years for these DMI charts, the only consistent thing is change.

The problem with all these predictions, apart from one, is that the time predicted still lies well in the future. So when he says we only have ten years to save the planet in 2020, we won’t be able to disprove it until 2030. We all know his predictions are completely barking mad, but we have to be patient before we can prove it.

Charles did make a prediction some years ago: that the Arctic would be ice free in summer by a specified year (I don’t recall the details – does anyone know?)
Needless to say, the predicted year finally came and went and Arctic ice was not even close to being ice free in summer. Perhaps this prediction could be added to the list?

The most irritating thing is that they’re banking on the time lapse bringing with it either a memory lapse on our part or that our usual easy-going spirit won’t carp on about his old blunder because he meant well or both. People brush off those past failures of predictions while still getting all riled up about the next one.

Indeed. And saying that we only have ten years to save the planet in 2020 doesn’t mean terrible things happen in 2030. It means that after 2030, we won’t be able to save it from terrible things that might happen at some undetermined future date, let’s say 2050 or 2100.

ten years to save the planet
This is where they could lose kids who grew up expecting they’ll live past 80.
We joke that they have no attention span, but we also saddled them with college-or-else then fund-your-own-retirement-accounts, then let them destroy centralized network tv and newspapers.
WUWT does not run on technology Al Gore and Dan Rather are driving, unless as stocks in a portfolio.

We tend to confuse what “they” are saying.

First, we must remember that they aren’t “predictions”, they are “projections”. Second, the date given isn’t the date of “the end of the Earth”. It is the date by which “we” must act to forestall “the end of the Earth” at some future, unspecified, date. If “we” don’t act by the date that “they” provide in their “projections”, then the damage will be “burned in” and irreversible.

Second, I believe that it was Professor Wadhams, an “arctic expert” at the University of Cambridge, who, in 2000 or 2001, predicted an “ice-free”* Arctic by 2015. The Honorable Albert Gore, former Vice President of the United States, jumped on that bandwagon. I was unaware that the former Prince of Wales, currently His Majesty The King, had also taken up the call. If I remember correctly, around 2013, Professor Wadhams changed the date to 2017. I don’t believe that he has spoken to the topic since then.

*Note that in “The Settled Science”, “ice-free” means less than 1,000,000 square km of sea ice. It doesn’t actually mean no ice. But, then, they like to change the definition of things to fit their needs. And, BTW, the arctic sea ice hasn’t come anywhere near “ice free”.

I’ve run out of quote marks – all for now.

So, from their past “projections” that date has passed and we are already doomed at some future time. Nostrodamus couldn’t “project” any more accurately.

Charles has been waiting a very long time for this job. Deep down he is a miserable and petulant child. I’d say much of the blame for his madness can be lain at the door of his mentor; Laurens van der Post.

It’s only a matter of time now before big ears’ mugshot will be on money, stamps etc

My pick for the coronation…

The Unreddy, as in Ethelred the Unreddy, meant Ethelred the Ill-advised.

It’s not reasonable to expect a heridtary Monarch to be an expert in anthing, so the point has always been that they should have the humility to listen to experts (without losing divine authority).

Of course, when that is untrue the Kingdom falls to some Cnut.

As well as being a ‘climate guru’

Kinky Charlie Chump also has aspirations …

he wants to be a Tampon !!!

In 1993, the British press published the full transcript of a private conversation between then-Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles in which the two had an intimate and sexual exchange. The conversation was notable for a number of reasons, not least of which because it involved the heir to the throne saying that he would like to “live inside [her] trousers” and joking that he would be reincarnated as a tampon, hence the name of the scandal. ‘Tampongate’ ( “Tampongate” actually took place on Dec. 17, 1989,)

To mark his coronation, Charlie Chump is releasing a new single …
‘Tampon Charlie is my name, Tampon sniffing is my game ! ‘

How come I did not read about this in the US media at that time, or any time.

If Trump had said this in 1989, it would be reported and embellished on every day.

Of course, we all heard about it. It was a scandal. A private phone conversation that took place in 1989 when both were married to other people and made public in 1993 when Charles and Diana were separated. It created outrage and greatly damaged Charles and Camilla’s reputations. Everything has been forgiven now because the Brits are very forgiving of their royals.

Not necessarily “forgiving”, but perhaps understanding how his upbringing in a very unusual dislocated family has caused him immense mental problems. Most of us, despite the trappings, would not wish to be in his shoes for all the tea in China. I always remember, when he was seen on television as a boy of about 8 years, waiting to greet his parents who were returning from a months-long overseas trip. His mother walked up to him and graciously shook him by the hand! Poor kid!

Charles the Thurd is looking for a cause to appear relevant.

He mindlessly embarrasses himself by repeating doomsday nonsense, as proven by the history of his utterances

He latched onto scare-mongering regarding global warming some decades ago, as did Al Gore, another such charlatan, who wrote a “Book of Predictions”, which did not happen

Am sorry people but you are really being a bit naughty here – let’s not descend to the level of M Mann esq, et al.

Chuckles (as seen in all the quotes) Was. Not. King. when he said those things.
He was free as a bird and out on the pull when he made those prediction/projections and as such, folks are allowed that.
Are they not?
Be careful here, you don’t become even more finger-wagging, paranoid & controlling than Warmists are.

But now he has ‘pulled’, he has to behave a little more responsibly and nobody knows it better than him.

Because, as = A King, he is more hemmed-in than a really hemmed-in thing, even before there are more hands up his backside and strings attached controlling and telling him what to say/do/think than even Brandon has.

Brandon does of course *need* those things lest he fall over and never be seen again. Boris actually did.
(That’s a lie, he did fall over but is still visible – it’s just when you now see Boris you need to use binoculars – the wrong way round. He is now soooo massive)

back to Brandon, I refer you to the attached…..
That one is a year old, the exact same happened this year here

May 16, 2023 7:13 am

While Charles III is still the same lame brain, Prince Charles said these things. As king, he has had to give up his pet causes.

Is it a slow news day?

His pet causes are the same as all the parties in UK, so don’t expect him to shut-up and in fact don’t be surprised if he ratchets up the stupid to 11 on the dial.

May 16, 2023 7:44 am

So many predictions, so many deadlines. I suppose if he keeps this up and varies the dates enough, one of them might come true. Perhaps he should play the long game and make sure all the new predictions go well past his own best-before date.

May 16, 2023 7:52 am

There’s no way Charles is giving up his religion. The only thing saving the UK from some sort of king action on his part is that all the major political parties also support this religion.

Even when reliable energy becomes something only the wealthy and the royal can afford, he’ll still be out there preaching from his climate pulpit.

Prince / King Charles:

2009: 4 years to save the planet, by 2013. (Apocalypse missed)

2015: 30 years to save the planet, by 2045. (Good news, we got 32 extra years!)

2019: 10 years to save the planet, by 2029. (Sorry, I wasn’t urgent enough–move the deadline up by 16 years).

As King, Charles is supposed to be the leader of the Anglican Church. But after all these failed predictions of the apocalypse, he’s starting to sound like a Jehovah’s Witness.

Who remembers Gore’s lauding his beloved professor Revelle, for educating him on climate catastrophes.

Yet, when Revelle retired, he opined that he may have been wrong on the crisis.

When Gore was quizzed about the professors comment, he referred to him as an old fool
