Premiered Mar 6, 2023

U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) spoke at The Heartland Institute’s 15th International Conference on Climate Change (ICCC15) on Feb. 25, 2023. She discussed how she and fellow conservatives fought for reforms in the House Rules, and how she is fighting against the radical climate agenda of the Biden administration and Democrats in Congress.

The Fifteenth International Conference on Climate Change (ICCC15) featured more than 50 speakers who are top scientists in their fields and policy experts from around the world. Each edition of these conferences attracts scientists, legislators, environmentalists, and more all discussing their views on climate science, the idea that there is a crisis, efforts to educate the public, views on the state of discourse, and more.

She’s not necessarily the sharpest tool in the shed, but she shoots straight.

i will take a freedom loving straight shooter over a sharpest tool in the shed any day. remember the so-called sharpest tools are the ones destroying and controlling our lives.

Well, Boebert grew up on welfare and dropped out of high-school to have a baby, but now that she is hanging out with all those class A grifters in Congress she’ll get some sharpening. 😏😁

I met Lauren Boebert in her Shooters Grill, in Rifle CO. She and all her waitstaff were carrying. All trained.

Whatever her educational status, Ms. Boebert came across as intelligent and personable.

They served the best burger, ever. Angus beef.

It’s odd how many have run to defend Rep. Boebert from her own truth as if I posted to demean her, when all I did was offer a reason for her not being as ‘polished’, experienced as the class A grifters in Congress… or is it that descriptive of Congress in general that has everyone hot under the collar?

No Phillip – its the “Boebert grew up on welfare and dropped out of high-school to have a baby” comment, not the “grifters in Congress” comment

And the implication that she is a duma$$.

One of the biggest problems with liberals is that they think years in school equates to an increased level of intelligence.

The leftist attempted bailout of all those student loans because those years of school did not improve their earning capability sort of illustrates that those taking the loans are not too bright.

The implication was one of being unpolished compared to the class A Congressional grifters, NOT dumba$$.

Even if she had a PHD she couldn’t express her conviction and common sense any better.
She’s got a new fan.

So what? You attack the person not the message? Pretty typical

LOL Explaining Boeberts past in deference to a posters use of “not the sharpest tool” is hardly an attack on her. Sheesh!

I know, especially when you compare Lauren against both “blades” in the WH. /sarc
We need people who can clearly articulate those “straight” thoughts.

They don’t all have to be “nu-clur” engineers.

Too bad this conference will be ignored by the MSM. Stop the first 100 people you see on the street and I bet not one will be aware of it. So, the question is- how to make it have an influence? I’ve noticed that the many videos of this event are getting few people watching them- a few thousand at most. It seems that the skeptics of a climate emergency are just talking to themselves.

wonder when Fox will discover this hoax – I have sent Jessie Watters several of the WUWT posts including the ones from the CO2 coalition – if they can recognize 1/6 as a hoax surely they will at some point have to take a look at what destruction these climate alarmists aka Useful Idiots are doing and want to do to this country – and the world

Fox News is being taken over by the Murdoch boys. Expect them to turn Fox News into another establishment echo chamber, ala CNN.

The Murdock boys seem to be promoting Ron Desantis for president. They practically ignore Trump.

Trump is ahead of Desantis in the polls by a pretty good margin. That must really irritate the Murdock boys.

Jesse did a segment on the climate change story last night. I think the headline on the bottom of the screen referred to a climate hoax or a climate scam, so maybe your efforts are having some effect. 🙂

And she may well preach reducing government spending, but as a freshman congresswoman she claimed an eyewatering $22,000 for gas milage despite attending a minimal amount of events. This was more than her predecessor spent in 10 years.
All on the taxpayer.

I know….get some decent speakers. I listened to the first half of her speech and she said absolutely nothing about climate change. It’s like she was totally unprepared and knew nothing about the topic, so just winged it. Lots of radical left this and radical left that….

They are conditioned K-12 and beyond to accept the approved dogma so any contrary point of view is simply rolled over. The Leviathan that is Man Made Climate Change has mass and momentum. Even incontrovertible evidence that they are wrong seems to have no effect rather like the men can get pregnant nonsense.

She may not be the best spokesperson, but at least some of the younger generations are willing to move professionally against the CAGW scam. Unlike major league sports who’ve all seemingly caved to the woke agenda.

Next the big ‘make shed loads of money’ thing is CO2 capture.
About an hour earlier there was this dishevelled American with Indian subcontinent accent and appearance claiming he has the ultimate method.
Simple filter that captures 3 times more CO2 than the most efficient up to date method at 400ppm concentration.
And for the ‘piesta de resistance’ a true masterpiece of technology invention he is going to pump billions of tones (a year or decade, who cares, just invest your money, not asking for government subsidy but it would be accepted) into sea, just don’t mention ‘ocean acidification’.

I live just north of Chicago. Looking out my window it started snowing here about half an hour ago. At the moment the snow is coming down hard. The weather forecaster tells me it will snow all night and tomorrow morning and that we will get three to six inches of snow. That seems about normal for mid-March where I live. So where is this global warming they told me about forty years ago? And how long will it be before these “wise” people in their fancy conferences and their universities and their news rooms finally figure out that its cold outside and that it’s snowing?

Never going to happen. They have convinced the citizenry that CO2 caused global warming makes things colder and hotter and drier and wetter. It is the absolutely perfect political cash magnet.

It doesn’t matter to me that she isn’t the “smartest” woman alive like people alleged about HRC, but you can bet she speaks with real world experience and honesty. Something that is rare in congress.

Salute!

Actually, listening to the young lady, she sounds quick witted and has a sense of humor. She represents the values and interests of most of the folks in her huge district. Only exception being the ski resort and mountain retreats that movie stars and “rich” folks frequent.

The Colorado 3rd district is worth a look, and it represents the vast majority of mineral wealth in the state and then the agriculture along the western slope and a bit of the farmland in the southeast part of the state. So I am glad we have her representing that huge portion of the state due to her personal background and her husband’s.

Not all is lost in Colorado, and many of the folks that migrated there from California are coming around to appreciate that sense of freedom and independence inherent in the clean mountain air and blue skies.
