Greenpeace International, a global climate group that opposes fossil fuels, released a study showing that elites largely travel to the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) annual conference via private jets.
The analysis – published late last week by Greenpeace and the environmental research firm CE Delft – showed that there was a significant uptick in private jet flights, many of which were short-distance, to airports near WEF’s headquarters in Davos, Switzerland, during the 2022 summit. The group released the study ahead of WEF’s 2023 summit, which is slated to kick off this week.
“Europe is experiencing the warmest January days ever recorded and communities around the world are grappling with extreme weather events supercharged by the climate crisis,” Greenpeace campaigner Klara Maria Schenk said in a statement Friday. “Meanwhile, the rich and powerful flock to Davos in ultra-polluting, socially inequitable private jets to discuss climate and inequality behind closed doors.”

Of course, don’t let this distract you into thinking Davos is simply a week long drug fueled orgy for the super rich. They are there to talk serious business, like how to ration ordinary people’s access to air travel, to save the planet from global warming.
I predict lots of comments about “being screwed”…
WEF also has quite a few attendees from amongst visitors to pedophile Epstein Island as well as Epstein’s associates, from Prince Andrew to Bill Gates, et al. Even one of convicted child sex-trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell’s sisters (Christine) is a well connected WEF affiliate.

So “grappling with” means benefitting from the absolute best weather that anyone in Europe could possibly have expected during their energy crisis. The unusually warm weather has saved a lot of people a lot of heating money, and has probably saved many lives as well. Maybe Klara Maria Schenk should start grappling with that instead.

There is definitely inequality in access to the services provided by firms such as Aargau. Could it even be that the inequality is increasing? But what solutions is the WEF proposing to this totally unacceptable inequality? However, we may rest assured that Aargau are experts in diversity.
