LIVE NOW at Noon CDT Climate Change Roundtable

Europe is in the midst of an energy crisis, and it goes past Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. For years, leaders across Europe have decided to implement energy policies that signal their green virtue but fail to provide adequate amounts of energy.

Now, they’re paying the price. America is headed down the same path. We’re already seeing the effects Biden’s policies have had on gas prices, but that’s just the start. That’s why energy experts are sounding the alarm.

On today’s episode of Climate Change Roundtable, Andy Singer, Anthony Watts, and H. Sterling Burnett discuss the current situation in America as well as pay respects to the recently passed climate scientist Dr. Tim Ball.

Meanwhile in the UK

UK companies are collapsing at the fastest rate since the height of the global financial crisis as surging energy bills drive thousands of firms out of business.
National Grid says households and businesses could be cut off for around three hours a day if Britain cannot buy enough gas and electricity from abroad due to global shortages.

Listening to the discussion the grasshoppers were mentioned.
Climate change is causing an increase in numbers of several grasshopper and cricket species. According to research from the Centre for Ecology & Hydrology , the warmer weather in Britain has led to rise in numbers of species.
That is the good news for the grasshoppers, but the bad news is:
The United Nations has encouraged more people to eat grasshoppers. Not just because they’re nutritious and healthy meat alternatives, but also because:

  • they produce fewer greenhouse gases than most livestock
  • a lot less land is needed to rear grasshoppers
  • rearing is a low-capital and low-tech industry that provides great opportunities for the third world countries.

I wish this had been announced earlier. I missed it.

There is also a failure of journalism going on in the U.K. about Net Zero (achieving it is now a legal requirement in our country). We all know what the endpoint of Net Zero is – but not a single journalist has written about what the START point is. So – what is the current U.K. manmade CO2 contribution expressed as a %age of global CO2? There’s a huge story right there just waiting to be picked up by a gutsy journalist. But not one currently has the courage to research and report on it.

Not one journalist has the scientific understanding to count beyond 10 without taking (pronoun variable) socks off.

A problem cannot be solved until you first recognize all the causative factors.

Until they recognize the weather dependent energy is the cause of the problem (and worse actually believe it is the solution) things can only continue to get (much) worse.

When people start freezing to death and the pitchforks come out – then maybe.

What we need is a mass-extinction of Climate Alarmists.

Extinction Rebellion should show us how to do it properly.
Other alarmists should follow their virtue and refuse to use any energy made by fossil fuels. give up their petrol/ diesel cars and flying anywhere, stop utilising any plastic materials, give up using phones etc, otherwise they are hypocrites. Let’s see how long they last without modern conveniences due to our industrialization; they should copy the Amish.

The most effective way of destroying an economy is to stop its access to energy.
The question we are all asking is, how did we arrive at a situation in the Western World where that desire to destroy our economies, was considered a priority by our political class?
Net Zero describes perfectly what we will all have, if the present madness continues for much longer.

The Climate-and-Green-Energy scam was a blatant fraud from the start ~50 years ago, promoted by “scoundrels and imbeciles”. The scoundrels knew they were lying; the imbeciles believed them. We told you so 20 years ago.
