UN official at WEF: ‘We own the science & we think that the world should know it’ so ‘we partnered with Google’ to ensure only UN climate results appear

During the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Sustainable Development Impact Meetings last week, the unelected globalists held a panel on “Tackling Disinformation” where participants from the UN, CNN, and Brown University discussed how to best control narratives.

Fleming also highlighted that the UN worked with TikTok on a project called “Team Halo” to boost COVID messaging coming from medical and scientific communities on the Chinese-owned video sharing platform. “We had another trusted messenger project, which was called ‘Team Halo’ where we trained scientists around the world and some doctors on TikTok, and we had TikTok working with us,” she said.

The United Nations’ global communications rep tells the WEF, “We own the science, and we think that the world should know it, and the platforms themselves also do,” during a panel on disinformation.

During the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Sustainable Development Impact Meetings last week, the unelected globalists held a panel on “Tackling Disinformation” where participants from the UN, CNN, and Brown University discussed how to best control narratives.

Melissa Fleming, Under-Secretary for Global Communications at the United Nations, highlighted that the UN had partnered with several big tech companies, including TikTok and Google, to control COVID and climate narratives while claiming, “We own the science.”

“We own the science, and we think that the world should know it, and the platforms themselves also do” — Melissa Fleming

“We partnered with Google. For example, if you Google ‘climate change,’ you will, at the top of your search, you will get all kinds of UN resources” — Melissa Fleming

On the topic of controlling the climate change narrative, Fleming remarked that the UN had partnered with Google, so that the unelected globalists’ authoritative narratives would appear at the top of search results.

“We partnered with Google,” said Fleming, adding, “for example, if you Google ‘climate change,’ you will, at the top of your search, you will get all kinds of UN resources.

“We started this partnership when we were shocked to see that when we Googled ‘climate change,’ we were getting incredibly distorted information right at the top.

“So we’re becoming much more proactive. We own the science, and we think that the world should know it, and the platforms themselves also do,” she added.

Melissa Fleming

“We trained scientists around the world and some doctors on TikTok, and we had TikTok working with us” — Melissa Fleming

But the unelected globalists’ efforts on narrative control didn’t end with partnering with Google to manipulate search results on climate change.

“We’re becoming much more proactive” — Melissa Fleming

The UN claims to own the science, but if we take a closer look at who funds the UN’s “directing and coordinating authority on international health” — the World Health Organization (WHO) — we get a clearer picture of who is really calling the shots.

Historically, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, along with the Gates-backed GAVI vaccine alliance, have contributed more to the WHO program budget than all member nations, save two — the US and the UK.

Who owns the science again?

“Another really key strategy we had was to deploy influencers […] and they were much more trusted than the United Nations” — Melissa Fleming

During last week’s WEF panel, the UN global communications rep went on to admit that people didn’t trust institutions like the UN when it came to information related to COVID, and so to counter this, the UN looked to influencers to get its messaging across through the backdoor.

“Another really key strategy we had was to deploy influencers,” she said, adding, “influencers who were really keen, who have huge followings, but really keen to help carry messages that were going to serve their communities, and they were much more trusted than the United Nations telling them something from New York City headquarters.”

The idea of infiltrating and subverting online groups from within by targeting influencers mirrors recommendations coming out of a Google-backed RAND report published in April, 2021.

Conspiracists have their own experts on whom they lean to support and strengthen their views […] One alternative approach could be to direct outreach toward moderate members of those groups who could, in turn, exert influence on the broader community […]

It might be possible to convey key messages to those who are only ‘vaccine hesitant,’ and these individuals might, in turn, relay such messages to those on antivaccination social media channels” — Google-backed RAND report, 2021

According to the report’s policy recommendations:

“Conspiracists have their own experts on whom they lean to support and strengthen their views, and their reliance on these experts might limit the impact of formal outreach by public health professionals.

“Our review of the literature shows that one alternative approach could be to direct outreach toward moderate members of those groups who could, in turn, exert influence on the broader community.”

The report went on to say, “Commercial marketing programs use a similar approach when they engage social media influencers (or brand ambassadors), who can then credibly communicate advantages of a commercial brand to their own audiences on social media.”

Adrian Monck

“CNN is both an organization that’s trying to make sense of the world and trying to establish the facts; it’s also part of a political war on who owns the narrative” — Adrian Monck

Moderating last week’s “Tackling Disinformation” panel was WEF managing director Adrian Monck, who in recent months has been name-calling critics of the WEF and components of its great reset agenda as white supremacists and anti-Semites engaged in far-right disinformation campaigns.

When addressing CNN’s Rachel Smolkin, Monck said that CNN was part of a political war strategy to “own the narrative.”

“CNN is both an organization that’s trying to make sense of the world and trying to establish the facts; it’s also part of a political war on who owns the narrative,” he said.

According to MintPress News, CNN received $3.6 million in donations from none other than the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation — the same organization that’s been heavily invested in the WHO.

The investigation revealed that Gates had also donated a whopping $319 million to many of the biggest and most influential corporate news outlets in the world.

Who’s really engaged in the “political war on who owns the narrative” again?

“Narratives shape our perceptions, which in turn form our realities and end up influencing our choices and actions” — The Great Narrative, Klaus Schwab & Thierry Malleret, 2022

Speaking of owning narratives, last year, the WEF launched the great narrative initiative as a sequel to the great reset, with the goal of reshaping all aspects of society and the global economy.

The idea of a great narrative is something that the French philosopher Jean-Francois Lyotard called a “grand narrative,” (aka “metanarrative“) which, according to Philo-Notes, “functions to legitimize power, authority, and social customs” — everything that the great reset is trying to achieve.

Once the great reset has its great narrative implemented, any opposing narrative can be dismissed as disinformation, conspiracy, or extremism that must be censored and suppressed for the greater, collective good.

“People who are very active in the anti-vaccine scene and others were seizing the opportunity of people being so afraid” — Melissa Fleming

In one single WEF panel on “Tackling Disinformation,” we saw unelected globalists claim that they basically had a monopoly on science and that corporate media was embroiled in a battle to own the narrative.

At the same time, the UN rep claimed that people who questioned the vaccine narrative were “seizing the opportunity of people being afraid” to inject disinformation.

According to Fleming, “People who are very active in the anti-vaccine scene and others were seizing the opportunity of people being so afraid — injecting disinformation and misleading information — fueled also by some leaders and governments.”

“We have a golden opportunity to seize something good from this crisis — its unprecedented shockwaves may well make people more receptive to big visions of change” — King Charles III, WEF Great Reset Launch, 2020

However, it was Britain’s King Charles III, who was prince at the time of the great reset launch, who said in June, 2020, “We have a golden opportunity to seize something good from this crisis — its unprecedented shockwaves may well make people more receptive to big visions of change.”

Similarly, WEF founder Klaus Schwab said that the pandemic represented “a rare but narrow window of opportunity” to initiate the great reset agenda.

If anyone was “seizing the opportunity” to exploit people’s fears during the pandemic, unelected globalists and the British crown would certainly be at the top of that list.

“This idea that all speech is equal is not true, and I wish we could just have that conversation properly,” she said as she had exactly that type of conversation” — Claire Wardle

On the subject of free speech, Brown University’s Claire Wardle, who is “one of the world’s leading experts on misinformation,” told last week’s WEF disinformation panel that she was frustrated that people couldn’t have a “more nuanced conversation about speech” as she simultaneously engaged in a nuanced conversation about free speech.

Free speech is free speech. It allows for nuanced conversation by default.

However, that didn’t stop Wardle from complaining about free speech even as she was actively participating in it in real-time.

“I just wish we could have a more nuanced conversation about speech,” she said.

“This idea that all speech is equal is not true, and I wish we could just have that conversation properly,” Wardle added, as she had exactly that type of conversation.

“The good news is the elites across the world trust each other more and more […] The bad news is that in every single country they were polling, the majority of people trusted their elites less” — Ngaire Woods, The Great Narrative Meeting, 2021

By declaring they “own the science,” partnering with big tech companies to manipulate search results to influence public opinion, and pouring millions of dollars into media outlets, the unelected globalists are once again showing their true colors for all to see.

Owning the science leads to owning the narrative.

Owning the narrative means controlling thought and speech.

Controlling thought and speech means the end of free society.

Welcome to the great reset.

The unelected globalists’ authoritarian attempts to remake society out of the destruction of the old are becoming increasingly more obvious and desperate as the people’s trust in the global elites continues to crumble.

The WEF is penetrating (the metaphor is apt) nation’s governments and taking control. The sad thing is, by the time the general citizenry of Western nations realize what’s going on, they’ll find they are chained up, handcuffed, and silenced… if they aren’t dead from starvation or mass murder.

Far too pessimistic. They may be trying, but they are failing:

  1. Bugs instead of meat, when methane is irrelevant as a GHG in a water world with about 2% specific humidity.
  2. Ruination by renewables (Europe this winter).
  3. MAGA movement in US, Fratelli d’Italia in Italy.

To paraphrase Solzenytsin:
We know they are losing.
They know we know they are losing.
We know they know we know they are losing.
And yet they persist in losing.

Pessimism is called for Rud, that is, if pessimism is your motivator. Yes they seem to be losing because blogs like WUWT, Notalotofpeopleknowthat, etc call their bluff on a lot of things. We all have to keep getting good info out to the public and that requires the thousands of visitors to these sites to be vocal to non-visitors in their families and social networks. What makes me pessimistic is the ability of these self serving, well resourced elites to play really dirty if that is the only way of getting what they want. They can’t win on facts so now they want a blanket shutdown on facts. They are sinister.

Yes and no. One issue is funding. While there is a lot of good info here and on a few other sites, the funding for distributing skeptical view points is orders of magnitude less than the funding behind the WEF and the UN. One recent example is Patagonia’s founder pledging his support to fight climate change. Then there is Bloomberg, Gates, Steyer, and many more with a lot of money they can devote to this lunacy. And, they own the MSM, including the WSJ, although the WSJ has recently published a number of articles questioning things like the GND and the climate “crisis”. What resources do skeptics have that compare with the elitist climate campaigners?

That tends to be my approach. Google may simply have more and longer access enabling it to index some things DuckDuckGo may not. When I use Google search it is usually only when I am already certain something exists but DuckDuckGo hasn’t found it, which is not often.

I use Brave Search by default and 95% of the time it gets me what I’m looking for. The other 5% of the time I use Google inside a “container” in Firefox. Google does provide the most comprehensive results for technical information, the down ranking of non progressive political/social results notwithstanding. Still I only use it as a last resort and the likes of Brave Search continue to get better.

I used DDG for a long time, then found that (a) they apparently just call google anonymously and repackage the results, and (b) they were sending everything(?) to Microsoft.

I switched to neeva, pay $5/month for it, because they have their own search system not dependent on google or anyone else. Seems ok 99% of the time. Occasionally I’ll get results that seem incomplete, try google, and usually google only adds crap; but sometimes google actually does find what I was looking for.

When the Ukraine situation started, DDG explicitly stated that they would be controlling results in their searches to “prevent the spread of misinformation” – exactly the opposite of one of their primary foundational premises. They’re going down the same road as Google.

That’s when I switched to Startpage. But I can’t say they won’t end up on the same path either.

United Nations Melissa Fleming says “They *own* the science on climate change”.

The only thing Ms Fleming et al “own” is the falsehoods. Proof.

An inside look at the WEF’s plans for our countries – not just Canada and the USA: All! The two big Control scams are Climate and Covid, and neither ever made any sense.

The Climate-and-Green-Energy scam was a blatant fraud from the start ~50 years ago, promoted by “scoundrels and imbeciles”. The scoundrels knew they were lying; the imbeciles believed them. We told you so 20 years ago.

In reality, the Covid-19 “Emergency” was not a real emergency – it was a deliberate international scam and the quality data supports this conclusion. This totalitarian scam was already in progress with Climate as the primary driver, and then along came Covid-19, a relatively mild flu that only killed the very elderly and infirm, and Covid was enlisted as a second front for the wolves to stampede the sheep.

Covid-19 was a WHO scam. I called it correctly in a note published on 21Mar2020, ~6 days into the needless, destructive lockdown. Covid-19 was an illness that was only fatal to the very elderly and infirm, but not even close to a real epidemic. Six months later on 4Oct2020, world experts wrote the same conclusion in their Great Barrington Declaration.

I wrote our Alberta & Canadian politicians and North American media on 8Jan2021 to NOT release the Covid-19 “vaccines”. These so-called “vaccines” are toxic – some informed parties call them “bio-weapons”.

In Alberta now, the leading cause of death is listed as “unknown”. It’s actually the toxic Covid-19 vaxxes. Deaths jumped in 2021 after the Covid-19 vaxxes were deployed – most of the “Covid” deaths, especially of people under ~75, were caused by the vaxxes, not the virus.

IMPORTANT NEW PAPER!
THE GREAT RESET: PLANNING THE THEFT OF CANADA?
https://fcpp.org/2022/10/02/the-great-reset-planning-the-theft-of-canada/
by Robert McCarter October 2, 2022

This shocking story was just published by the Frontier Centre for Public Policy. It’s not just the theft of Canada – it’s the destruction of ~every country in the world, and it’s working! Wake up good people, you have been scammed by your governments and your media. Many politicians and health authorities have been bribed to betray you. They have knowingly sabotaged our economies through the Climate and Covid scams, deliberately driving inflation and poverty and they have caused the vaccine-deaths and injuries of millions. We tried to warn you three years ago – do you believe us now?

Bob McCarter approached me circa July 2019 with this shocking information. I checked him out through a mutual friend and he received a five-star recommendation. I contacted my friend Terry Corcoran, former editor of the Financial Post, with a draft article, before the 2019 election where traitor Trudeau was re-elected as PM of Canada. Terry worked with me on edits for weeks and we submitted it for publication, where it was rejected by the new “Trudeau-bought” editor of the FP. Trudeau had given $600 million to the mainstream press to buy their fealty. This was the only article I had ever submitted to a mainstream newspaper that was rejected. I then published the story on wattsup, as Bob did under a pseudonym. See CorrectPredictions.ca for updates.

Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum has bragged about how he owned Trudeau and his Cabinet, and it is obvious by their conduct that the WEF also controlled the leaders of the USA, Britain, France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, etc. Basic logic states that no rational individual or group could be the utterly obtuse, this wrong for this long – these traitors knew what they were doing and were well-compensated for their treachery.

Here is some more recent information on the Covid-19 scam.
This post was censored on ~every Canadian newspaper website – the bought press continue their work.

The necessity of competing economically and strategically with China and its allies will shake out some of the Western stupidity.

Here are what some notable individuals think on the subject of science:
“It is important that students bring a certain ragamuffin, barefoot irreverence to their studies; they are not here to worship what is known, but to question it.” – Jacob Bronowski
“That is the essence of science: ask an impertinent question, and you are on the way to a pertinent answer.” – Jacob Bronowski
“Don’t pay attention to ‘authorities,’ think for yourself.” – R. Feynman
“No government has the right to decide on the truth of scientific principles, nor to prescribe in any way the character of the questions investigated. Neither may a government determine the aesthetic value of artistic creations, nor limit the forms of literacy or artistic expression. Nor should it pronounce on the validity of economic, historic, religious, or philosophical doctrines. Instead it has a duty to its citizens to maintain the freedom, to let those citizens contribute to the further adventure and the development of the human race.” – R. Feynman
“Study hard what interests you the most in the most undisciplined, irreverent and original manner possible.” – R. Feynman
“We live in an unscientific age in which almost all the buffeting of communications and television-words, books, and so on-are unscientific. As a result, there is a considerable amount of intellectual tyranny in the name of science.” R. Feynman

Here are some extracts from the book ‘Covid-19: The Great Reset’ it begins:
“Since it made its entry on the world stage, COVID-19 has dramatically torn up the existing script of how to govern countries, live with others and take part in the global economy.”
Page 33 – Just to provide a broad and oversimplified example, the containment of the coronavirus pandemic will necessitate a global surveillance network capable of identifying new outbreaks as soon a s they arise…
Page 94 – As advocated by Joseph Stiglitz: The first priority is to (…) provide more funding for the public sector, especially for those parts of it that are designed to protect against the multitude of risks that a complex society faces, and to fund the advances in science and higher education, on which our future prosperity depends. These are areas in which productive jobs – researchers, teachers, and those who help run the institutions that support them -can be created quickly. Even as we emerge from this crisis, we should be aware that some other crisis surely lurks around the corner. We can’t predict what the next one will look like – other than it will look different from the last””
Page 95 The return of “big” government – Taxation will increase, particularly for the most privileged, because governments will need to strengthen their resilience capabilities and wish to invest more heavily in them. As advocated by Joseph Stiglitz: “The first priority is to provide more funding for the public sector, especially for those parts of it that are designed to protect against the multitude of risks that a complex society faces, and to fund the advances in science and higher-quality education, on which our future prosperity depends. These are areas in which productive jobs – researchers, teachers, and those who help run the institutions that support them – can be created quickly. Even as we emerge from this crisis, we should be aware that some other crisis surely lurks around the corner.
Page 102 – Youth activism is increasing worldwide, being revolutionized by social media that increases mobilization to an extent that would have been impossible before. It takes many different forms, ranging from non-institutionalized political participation to demonstrations and protests, and addresses issues as diverse as climate change, economic reforms, gender equality and LGBTQ rights. The young generation is firmly at the vanguard of social change. There is little doubt that it will be the catalysts for change and a source of critical momentum for the Great Reset.
Page 114 – Global Governance – Put bluntly, we live in a world in which nobody is in charge.
(There is much here on the importance of global governance as opposed to national governance)
Page 142 – This brings us to the all-important question of whether the pandemic will eventually exercise a positive or negative effect on climate change policies. “A Great Reset is necessary to build a new social contract that honours the dignity of every human being,” added Schwab “The global health crisis has laid bare the unsustainability of our old system in terms of social cohesion, the lack of equal opportunities and inclusiveness. Nor can we turn our backs on the evils of racism and discrimination. We need to build into this new social contract our intergenerational responsibility to ensure that we live up to the expectations of young people.”
Page 153 – Technological Reset – We will see how contact tracing has an unequalled capacity and a quasi-essential place in the armoury needed to combat COVID-19, while at the same time being positioned to become an enabler of mass surveillance.
Page 156 – Accelerating the digital transformation – In one form or another, social and physical distancing measures are likely to persist after the pandemic itself subsides, justifying the decision in many companies from different industries to accelerate automation. After a while, the enduring concerns about technological unemployment will recede as societies emphasize the need to restructure the workplace in a way that minimizes close human contact. Indeed, automation technologies are particularly suited to a world in which human beings can’t get too close to each other or are willing to reduce their interactions.
Page 157 – In 2016, two academics from Oxford University came to the conclusion that up to 86% of jobs in restaurants, 75% of jobs in retail and 59% of jobs in entertainment could be automatized by 2035. These three industries are the most hardest hit by the pandemic and in which automating for reasons of hygiene and cleanliness will be a necessity…
Page 160 – The most effective form of tracking or tracing is obviously the one powered by technology: it not only allows backtracking all the contacts with whom the user of a mobile phone has been in touch, but also tracking the user’s real time movements, which in turn affords the possibility to better enforce a lockdown…
Page 165 – As the coronavirus crisis recedes and people start returning to the workplace, the corporate move will be towards greater surveillance; for better or worse, companies will be watching and sometimes recording what their workforce does. The trend could take many different forms, from measuring body temperatures with thermal cameras to monitoring via an app how employees comply with social distancing…
Page 173 – In short, a return to business as usual. This won’t happen because it can’t happen. For the most part “Business as usual” died from (or at the very least was infected by) COVID-19.
Page 174 – For some, like entertainment, travel or hospitality, a return to pre-pandemic environment is unimaginable in the foreseeable future (and maybe never in some cases…)…
Page 197 – The pandemic may increase our anxiety about sitting in an enclosed space with complete strangers, and many people may decide that staying at home to watch the latest movie or opera is the wisest option.

In contrast to the quote on Page 156 please see the small excerpt from a BBC series by Joseph Bronowski and the danger of dogma. He ends by saying “We have to cure ourselves of the itch for absolute knowledge and power. We have to close the distance between the push-button order and the human act. we have to touch people”

And contrast that plea with the ‘aspirations’ of Herr Schwab
“…In one form or another, social and physical distancing measures are likely to persist after the pandemic itself subsides, justifying the decision in many companies from different industries to accelerate automation… …Indeed, automation technologies are particularly suited to a world in which human beings can’t get too close to each other or are willing to reduce their interactions”

UN And WEF try to own the science. They are failing miserably, which is why they now try to silence dissent. In the internet era, that only works on some social media, causing others dedicated to free speech to rise up over time.

With respect to COVID, CDC had to change the definition of ‘vaccine’ because being vaccinated did not prevent getting COVID, did not prevent transmission, and did not prevent severity except among the most susceptible. Plus, vaccination is associated with an abnormal high incidence of severe side effects like myocarditis and vascular thrombosis. Nothing UN/WHO does can silence those indisputable facts.

With respect to anthropogenic global warming:

  1. The globe has not warmed as models predicted.
  2. Arctic summer sea ice has not disappeared as predicted. This years minimum was 4.65 Wadhams.
  3. Sea level rise has not accelerated as predicted.
  4. Children still know snow, unlike what was predicted in 2000.

And none of those indelible facts can be erased by UN/IPCC or WEF.

The statement by this UN ‘lady’ displays ignorant arrogance, nothing more.

To use the term ‘lady’ in referring to the grifter, Melissa Fleming, implies a certain amount of class. The term would be more accurate if she were identified as a female grifter in the model of such infamous females as Hillary Clinton. With her useless degrees, Fleming has probably reached her apex of accomplishment. Along with others who conspire with the UN/WEF to bring about the downfall of civilization. And they are desperate, as their goals are failing worldwide. They will need to go into hiding sometime soon.

I remember when we pointed out cold weather events they told us weather wasn’t climate. Now every adverse weather event is claimed, by them, to be evidence of man made climate change. We are supposed to take them seriously but they make it jolly difficult to do so.

Things are are getting worse not better in terms of censorship. Many of you may be familiar with Dr John Campbell in UK one of the best most balanced and data based commentators and medical educators in the Covid arena. Well he was recently “warned off” by YouTube” despite walking in egg shells”, and only implying that we need better data collection in some areas.

But what do expect in a world where Taylor Swift who never set foot in a College class is the Commencement Speaker at NYU. And worse yet, there was hardly a single critical review on Google search engine .

When “Wikipedia” allowed members of “The Climate Cult” to control information about the issue and smear skeptics — see the entry for WUWT — the effect has been to push people away from “consensus” messengers. Richard Feynman died in 1988 but his quotes have become ubiquitous on sites such as WUWT and several other anti-consensus blogs, podcasts, publications.
Orwell’s book “1984” was published in 1949 and it too has been quoted more in recent years (I think) than prior interest.
It is said that money talks, but so do parrots and often they are not speakers of truth.

As noted this is just what is obviously visible. I examine lots of marine science papers, even read or actually study a few. Papers too often state about how parts of their research are “robust, novel.” Such scientific signatures expressed in papers has changed, numbers of citations, authors and lengths of papers unnecessarily increased, overlap of portions easy with so many journals. I have over a hundred in my search list, keep running across new ones. Might be one out there that actually has studied this.

Before reading the comments, here is my take on UN and/or WEF elites taking over in general:

1) The various governments will not give up their power (sovereignty) to a collective that can effectively tell them what to do. For example, imagine China giving the UN control over its domestic and foreign policies. The present situation with climate change mitigation is instructive: No country is following the UN’s proposed mitigation actions, and the ones that matter (China, India and other developing countries) are bluntly telling the UN to go to hell.

2) It is plain that no country is currently nor is likely in the future willing to give Africa monies sufficient to make a difference in that population’s material wellbeing. The whole notion of a country bringing down the standard of living for its (voting) population to bring up other countries’ standards of living is laughable. Rich elites can virtue signal about equity and sharing, but human nature is immutable. Anyway, such a scheme is physically and economically impossible because it is anti-free market, the system that drives all advancement.

3) Even if they can accomplish the impossible, the UN and WEF elites assume they can keep their current unanimity of purpose and methods indefinitely into the future. History teaches us that factions will develop, power plays will ensue and the unanimity will facture. Then we would get some true world wars.

4) Good luck with disarming the U.S. populace, a necessary prerequisite to the dissolution of our Constitutional Democratic Republic.

I’m tired of listing reasons there will be no worldwide kumbaya with the elites telling us all what to do. Make up your own list.

Political science demands consensus & “owning” the narrative.

This is just a variation of “the science is settled” line that the alarmists were pushing a few years ago. This time they remind me of a team that actually is losing a game, so it wants the referee to blow the whistle early and declare it no contest. What they conveniently downplay is the fact that in spite of their hysteria, no one’s really listening nor taking any of the desperate measures they are constantly advocating. That’s the reason that fossil fuels are still generating 82% of the world’s primary energy supply and that in the last 25 years since the first COP conference the planet’s temperature has continued to creep up. Meanwhile populations, life expectancies, food production continue to rise, while poverty levels keep on falling.

C.S. Lewis wrote a cosmic trilogy culminating with That Hideous Strength (1945). A scientific think tank called the N.I.C.E. (The National Institute of Co-ordinated Experiments) is secretly in touch with demonic entities who plan to assume control of the Earth. The book starts a bit slowly, but it is a good study of the thoughts and motivations of wannabes and hangers-on and what they will do in a desperate attempt to be part of or rewarded by those in power.

This woman Melissa Fleming is a pathetic example.

Simple solution here: boycott Google search engines and stick to those which return relevant information. I saw a precipitous decline in the quality of Google searches over a 15 year period to the point where it is now simply pointless using it. It is an information prostitution service, it no longer returns the results I am interested in.

As an example, a test search for ‘England vs Wales 2015 Rugby World Cup’, a famous match well worth watching highlights of, I got absolutely everything but a 10 minute highlights video which I know exists (since I have watched it several times over the years). They returned Wales vs South Africa World Cup 2019 amongst many distinctly irrelevant other highlights reels….
