Dr. Susan Crockford is a professional zoologist with a special interest in evolutionary theory and dozens of peer-reviewed papers on a variety of topics; from 2004-2019 she was an adjunct professor at the University of Victoria, British Columbia. Since 2012, she has challenged claims that polar bears and other Arctic species face devastation due to loss of summer sea ice, which over the years has generated a surprisingly nasty backlash from climate activists and their supporters. She blogs at http://polarbearscience.com.
Her books include The Polar Bear Catastrophe That Never Happened, Sir David Attenborough and the Walrus Deception, Polar Bear Facts & Myths (for kids), and (for fiction lovers) a polar bear attack thriller set in Newfoundland called EATEN.

Dishonesty hates being questioned. Truth welcomes it.
Fascinating, what a great speaker she is. Both barrels at Attenborough – desevedly so
She’s also learnt that the BBC is never wrong
The BBC appears to be moving all of it’s news to America and the rest of the world in April; I want to know why my licence fee is being used for this and not for UK news? This may be the last move before the licence fee is removed and I can’t wait for that to happen.
If the BBC is moving to America, it sounds like it was bought by a leftist billionaire who needs a biased pulpit with a legion of corrupt reporters and editors devoted to whomever is paying them.
I’ll take Susan Crockford over any climate activist at any time. Climate hysterics have made noise long enough. It’s time to “move along”, as they say in the current vernacular.
She’s an absolute treasure. Long may she continue to inform and educate us all.
‘surprisingly nasty’
No, fully expected when you are showing the truth about one of their global warming icons.
“Eaten” was a fun read.
Many women pose as thinkers these days.
She is one that is not a poser.
Susan is the REAL THING.
An international expert in a field where there are very few.
Such an interesting interview…very enjoyable and informative.
That was an hour very well spent. thank you Dr. Crawford, Tom Nelson and WUWT.
