Essay by Eric Worrall
h/t Dr. Willie Soon – Includes video; In an interview with Megyn Kelly, Libertarian Alex Epstein has accused Climate Scientist Michael Mann of triggering a cascade of events which led to today’s gasoline price horror show.
Alex Epstein’s explanation for his accusation is that Michael Mann has promoted a very one sided view of fossil fuel, only talking about the negatives, without talking about how the modern world we live in today simply wouldn’t have happened without the extensive use of fossil fuel.
As Epstein points out, the billions of global poor people whose miserable poverty stricken lives have not been touched by access to fossil fuel are a cautionary reminder of the alternative to fossil fuel powered modernity.
I personally don’t think the current fuel price crisis was all on Mann. There were other influential players, though Michael Mann’s scary hockey stick likely played a big part in the ascendancy of the climate crisis narrative.
The current gasoline supply shortfall is an obvious direct consequence of President Biden’s fossil fuel hostility. Biden’s cancellation of pipelines and drilling lease sales crimped supply and impeded competition from new entrants, which must have contributed to today’s gasoline pump price pain.
But from where did Biden draw the inspiration for such reckless policies? Why is there substantial public support for harsh restrictions on fossil fuel production and use, despite the enormous cost and inconvenience?
Perhaps if Mann hadn’t made such an effort to “hide the decline“, fewer people today would be suffering the misery of extreme fuel poverty. And perhaps more Americans could afford this year to take their families on summer vacation, without stressing about the gasoline bills they will face.
I’m ok with blaming Mann. He has as much if not more than others to do with it.
It’s an amusing thought but I have to disagree. This would be giving a rather inconsequential, very minor figure entirely too much credit; he already has an over-inflated sense of his own importance without adding this to it. It would be like blaming Putin’s manicurist for the entire Ukraine invasion – ludicrous!
Saw a news article last night about Gas Prices and potential price gouging in L.A. regarding a Chevron station that’s charging $8.09 – $8.39 per gallon
And NO I’m not anti Standard Oil or anti Fossil Fuel. I do realize that station owners set their prices.
Too, no one has to buy from that particular station either and I wouldn’t.
How is it price gouging when you can get it cheaper across the street?
Because it is an unreasonable price given other area station pricing of $6.49 – 6.79.
I always shop the lowest price for fuel…Costco @ $5.59
Some sheeple are creatures of habit and do foolish things like not pay attention to prices, they would be gouged
Again – go to Costco or other cheaper station in the area. Suddenly, it’s not price gouging – it’s that station going broke because no one wants his product!
Sheesh, Brian! How difficult is this to understand? YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BUY FROM HIM!
I see the same thing happening in my little town, where the BP station ALWAYS at least a nickel cheaper than the Shell station across the street. SOME people seem to think that if the price is higher it HAS to be better gas, right? It doesn’t help that the Shell station ALWAYS has several cars out front, pumping that higher gas! I guess they must have company gas cards, so they don’t care how high it is. These are near the Interstate. They don’t know that if they drove on down the street a ways, they could buy their gas cheaper, where we LOCALS buy our gas! Also, My wife said there are stations in California where gas is being sold for over $10 a gallon! Is this what’s known as ‘Fear Pron’?
Chevron is always thirty to forty cents higher here in Tucson – but that is ridiculous.
Cause it got that Techron!
You need that…your engine be hungry for it!
We must also attribute significant blame to Hansen who is often considered the godfather of climate alarmism. Hansen in collusion with Schlesinger were responsible for the feedback fubar that provided a false theoretical rationalization for a climate sensitivity large enough to establish the IPCC. Hansen and Lebedeff were the ones who came up with homogenization as a valid way to identify trends that aren’t really present. Hansen also hired Gavin Schmidt who was his propaganda minister running the real climate website as well as a significant contributor to the horribly broken GISS GCM (Model E) and did so well promoting the big lie, he was promoted to take Hansen’s place as the director of GISS. There was also the malfeasance of disabling the AC for a meeting with legislators about climate change that was scheduled for one of the statistically warmest days of the year.
Mann is just one of the many small minded minions who jumped on the ‘co2 is the root of all evil’ bandwagon in order to advance themselves, rather than to advance science.
Don’t let him off so lightly.
Mann and his buddies are the root cause of rising fuel and energy prices.
Maybe they were the useful idiots/blunt instruments or they knew the score but either way they sold out to the watermelons.
So please don’t cut the Mann made Nobel prize winner any slack!
This is what they wanted, isn’t it? So if they advocate for policies that result in higher fuel prices, then of course they are culpable. Of course it’s no single person, it’s the entire eco-socialist-leftist-fascist mechanism…including Gore, Soros, and all the usual suspects.
There are dishonest scientists at many universities right around the world pushing this scam of glowbull warming .
I have been following this for 30 years and yes the global temperature has moved up by less than half a degree Celsius over that time .
Remember that we where being told in the 1970s to prepare for the coming Ice Age and also the world had warmed up from the intense cold of the Little Ice Age in the 16th and 17th into the 18th century.
I am sure that these crazy zero carbon policies and restrictions of fossil fuel use that woke governments are implementing will lead to massive hardships in many countries around the world in the very near future.
When I started school in 1948 there were less than 2.5 billion people on this earth .
We are now approaching 8 billion people .
There is not any doubt that these billions of people rely on fossil fuel to feed cloth and house them.
Our government here in New Zealand have there heads in the sand as they say our domestic inflation is running at 6% .
But they say nothing about building and construction increasing at over 15% and our agricultural costs are rising by 20% per year.
These escalating costs are going to affect every one right around the world as the cost of imported food increases in all countries .
“This is what they wanted, isn’t it?”
Ten years ago Allan MacRae put up a good run down of
quotes from these people – WUWT June 24th 2012
Don’t forget Bloomberg!
Epstein is good, Mann? I don’t know what Mann is but everything I think of I can’t say here.
Absolutely no doubt about that.
A very powerful graphic that was intended to gain maximum publicity and effect.
You have to expand that blame to the entire “hockey team” who conspired to eliminate any science based opposition to their narrative and of course decided to also become political activists. “Believe me: I’m a SCIENTIST! Repent your fossil fueled life.”
There seems to be two distinct thoughts on fossil energy. First is it is only used for petrol /gasoline and diesel and along with natural gas to heat our homes and that can be replaced. Secondly, despite the evidence, it is not involved in any other part of our lives.
As a result we have groups like XR and Just Stop Oil, showing all the benefits of fossil fuels in every aspect of their lives, trying to stop everyone else benefitting.
Will the penny ever drop for the people?
Yes Mr. Mann. *** YOU **** are responsible.
With some help from Naomi Oreskes
If all the people calling for the use of fossil fuels to stop actually stopped using fossil fuels there would be a massive drop in our carbon footprint and plenty of fossil fuel left for the rest of us…..
While The Team™ will continue to use 24/7 solar & say “Let them eat cake”, the gullible True
Believers™ will continue to help them despite being priced out of being able to use them, too. So
“Fossil fuels” – you sure about that? Strange how several other planets in our system are loaded with methane and hydrocarbons. Coal, I get. Not decomposition of animal meat to crude oil…
“Fossil fuels”…is the accepted term, however, there is some evidence that the planet is continuously making the basic ingredients for crude oil from some process deep within the core.
And, if we were to completely swear off of all “fossil fuel” use, we’d be naked and hungry a lot. And back to writing with rocks and burnt sticks.
You would think that the discovery of massive amounts of methane in the outer planets and their moons would make people ask where did all of this non biological methane come from and could there be some of this dissolved in Earth’s core and mantel that eventually bubbles up to the surface. It’s still widely considered that all of the methane on Earth has a biological origin.
Even if there’s only 1 part per billion methane dissolved in the core and mantel, it would be far more then we’ve ever discovered close to the surface. It’s even a possibility that some of the CO2 emitted by volcanoes is the result of the combustion of primordial methane.
So that would be Mannsplaining
Inflation and energy shortages aren’t a side effect of The Green New Deal / The Great Reset or what ever you want to call modern politics, it’s a feature. You don’t have to look to far to find juicy quotes from some big names in left wing politics:
“The Pandemic Remade Every Corner of Society. Now It’s the Climate’s Turn” Time Magazine
“Shutting down the whole economy is the only way of limiting global warming to 2°C” Yvo de Boer head of the UNFCCC
The main obstacle to a stable and just world order is the United States. George Soros
“No matter if the science of global warming is all phony… climate change provides the greatest opportunity to bring
about justice and equality in the world.” – Christine Stewart, former Canadian Minister of the Environment
“We’ve got to ride this global warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right
thing in terms of economic and environmental policy.” – Timothy Wirth, President of the UN Foundation
“Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn’t it our responsibility to bring that
about?” – Maurice Strong, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations
“This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined
period of time to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the
industrial revolution.” – Christiana Figueres, UN Climate Change Executive Secretary
“We’ve got to go straight to the heart of capitalism and overthrow it. George Monbiot April 12, 2019
I hope to someday piss on Maurice Strong’s grave.
Might be tricky. It’s in China.
I peed on the Great Wall. Nothing symbolic, I had to go.
Canada wouldn’t take his remains?
… he considered himself to be “a socialist in ideology, a capitalist in methodology.”
He was an amoral scumbag.
He is on my “pee on their grave” list as well.
I’d like to unload a dump truck of manure on top of every Eco-Fascist loon ala Harper Valley PTA.
While they’re still alive so they can have a taste of what comes out of their mouths on a regular basis…
Perhaps? Most certainly!
The “Father of Climate Dirty Tricks” was James Hanson when he sabotaged the Capitol’s AC before
he gave his famous temperature response to 3-scenarios of CO2 emissions presentation. Summer
of 1988 was the hottest year since 1936 & worst drought year since then, too. Yellowstone burned
as did the Black Hills. The Mannchild™ didn’t come up with his Hokey Schtick until 1999. Both were
involved in the Climategate emails as were other members of The Team™.
Aided and abetted by Wirth, of course. See the quotes above (and I have a couple of hundred more on file!)
It was never about climate and all about what Wirth called “environmental policy” and that was always a smokescreen, as was Agenda21, etc., etc.
Mann – to use his terminology – is a climate criminal.
Sturmhauptfuhrer Cook’s site Skeptical Science boasted this January that their divestment campaigns against fossil fuels have removed 39 trillion dollars from fossil fuel industry.
Big numbers – dollars and institutions – behind divestments from fossil fuels (skepticalscience.com)
Then they claim, in a denial worthy of the Kremlin, that rising fossil fuel prices are “nothing to do with us!”.
There’s no war in Ukraine.
Ukrainians are rocketing their own civilians.
And climate action has nothing to do with energy inflation whatever!
Speaking of crimes against humanity, has ol’ punchbag-face paid Tim Ball yet?
He hadn’t as of ~two yrs ago & The Mannchild™ will probably welch on it as he’s not in Canada. I
like Mark Steyn’s take on him having to pay for his delaying tactics- a loser, a liar, a scofflaw and a deadbeat!
Ah yes; the old, well-worn road to Mann-delay that just goes on and on with no obvious end in sight.
“road to Mann-delay”- +10
Initially, I thought it was in reference to a Bob Hope/Bing Crosby movie. But alas, it
was Rudyard Kipling (I didn’t know Rudyard could kiple!). Us Yanks owe a lot to the brave knig-gets who forced Bad King John to sign a few papers @ Runnymede. (I lived on
both Runnymede & Ivanhoe (a fave)) So much British history, so little time!
My only exposure to Kipling was having to listen to a modernized version of “Boots”
while in POW training. I can still remember the refrain 40+ years later:
(Boots—boots—boots—boots—movin’ up and down again!)
There’s no discharge in the war!
Ignore the modern casting of Kipling, he was a product of his time (warts and all) and wrote some amazing verse.
Oops forgot to mention that he also wrote the “engineers poem” or ‘the sons of martha’ which should be extremely apt for WUWT: “they do not preach that their god will rouse them a little before the nuts work loose.”
They do not teach that his pity allows them to drop their jobs when they damn well choose.
He definitely was a man of his times who rightfully occupied his space in
the British Empire, as did all men and women of his day. He wrote about
life as it was lived!
Perhaps the Michael E Mann meme should now be ‘Hide the benefits’? His more famous ‘Hide the decline’ seems to be ignored by the media and his disciples in general. The fossil fuel industry and the people using fossil fuel products, that is all of us by the way, should be shouting loudly and clearly about the life giving benefits of fossil fuels. We must stop pandering to the Michael E Mann ‘Hide the benefits’ (of fossil fuel) strategy.
“$7/gallon Biden Gas in California, Coming Soon To A Station Near You.”
We are already at 2€ a litre in France (= ~$9 a gallon, give or take) and that’s the basic supermarket stuff. Add 10%+ for the oil company outlets.
Correction: 9€ a gallon! But not far off!
Then there was this clown. The plan, not only to astronomically increase the price of gasoline, but also to cause the price of electricity to skyrocket has been in place for decades.
Yes it is MM’s fault – No it isn’t MM’s fault.
>MM is a tiny speck of inconsequential nothing in a huge space full of other tiny specks.
Any one of those other specks could have been MM
What we or anyone needs to know is how and why what he thought and said (the exact same thought that anyone else could have said) got so much traction
Why has this thing exploded into what it is?
The ‘how’ is very simple – the ‘how’ is the Main Stream Media.
Aw well that’s it, the MSM is full of witches just as MM is himself = Witch.
So let’s go hunting, what great fun.
But then, then MSM is not doing this, or ever does it do anything ‘Out of the goodness of its own heart’
The MSM is there to make money and this requires punters/consumers for its product – consumers willing to freely give their money for what the MSM produces.
Patently, there is enormous demand
My take and you know already – Because as a race, a collective/civilisation and species, we are very very ill. Mentally as well as physically.
Vast numbers of people are seriously chronically depressed and ‘feel like shit’,
Thus, they glean comfort from learning about other folks who are, seemingly, in even deeper shit. |A diet of depression makes us feel (relatively) better
It’s that simple
Hence why TV ‘soap operas’ are so popular and have been for as long as they have – this ‘thing’ is not new.
But like all of modern medicine, that diet of MSM shit is not a remedy, it simply covers up the problem for today for it to raise its ugly head tomorrow.
Q: Why are we ill?
A: Because we are starving.
Not for calories by any means but for all the myriad little things that define ‘food’
All those obese people around you are desperately malnourished and actually starving hungry. (That’s why they eat so much)
And bang on schedule (I ain’t been there yet) we see a story here from the Not Another Squirrel Again space agency looking at dirt. i.e. The myriad little things
<with funereal slowness> ha ha ha
Mmmmm, “Peta da Witch”
Got a kinda ring to it eh not?
Interesting parallel between the Food Guide and Climate Change.
What is a healthy diet for humans?
What is a safe temperature for the planet?
It ain’t Cheetos. My personal guideline: never eat anything that comes in a box.
Jack La Lane used to say not to eat anything that “comes in a box or a bag.”
If you do most of your food shopping on the outer isles, you’re off to a good start.
Alex is so good right now. I encourage everyone to buy his latest book right now.
I appreciate Alex Epstein for his energetic and well-reasoned defense of fossil fuel energy. But he gives too much away to the opposing side by accepting that warming necessarily results as a side effect. So I look forward to the time when he also realizes the core error underlying the attribution of surface warming to emissions of non-condensing greenhouse gases – the failure to properly consider the dynamic response of the atmosphere to absorbed energy. Watch from space. It’s not a “trap” as a final result. The emission to space, in the same band of infrared frequencies from which the misdirected concerns about CO2 have arisen, is highly variable and therefore obviously not the output of a static radiative insulating layer. The circulating motion in three dimensions changes everything about where to expect the heat to end up.
But he gives too much away to the opposing side by accepting that warming necessarily results as a side effect.
Yes, I thought the same thing but saying so often results in criticism from those who hold the view that CO2 causes some warming.
If you have lukewarmists arguing with warmists then you have created a debate lukewarmists cannot win. It is just as difficult to produce evidence for minor AGW as it is for CAGW with the difference that the warmists own most of the media, most of the universities, most of, not only the world’s governments, but most of the world’s political parties and most of the world’s rich elite. And most of all they own a noisy percentage of the world’s youth.
We would be better off taking the line that there is no evidence that atmospheric CO2 can cause surface warming or warming of the oceans or extreme weather, putting the onus on those who believe in the magical qualities of CO2 to produce evidence to support their assertions.
Challenge is better that debate when you know you are being screwed.
“We would be better off taking the line that there is no evidence that atmospheric CO2 can cause surface warming or warming of the oceans or extreme weather…”
Agreed, and this is why I say, “watch from space.” As I see it, the direct evidence of how it all works as a huge array of highly variable emitter/reflector elements counters even a modest claim that some amount of heat energy must be expected to accumulate on land and in the oceans because of what non-condensing GHGs do in the atmosphere.
Problem! There is nobody to argue with that makes any difference. The Dark Side has marginalized sceptics by refusing to argue with them. They with the help of cable news, major papers, all universities and institutions have successfilly sold us as D’nyers and fossil fuel company shills.
Alex Epstein has got the right thing to hit them with! The Dark Side is trying to deflect the blame to the war in Ukraine, which tells you they realize something horrible has happened that that was the result of Gov’t policies supported by The Dark Side Climateers like Mann.
Name, blame and shame is the way forward! Someone like Heartland needs to do a global survey of the harm, de@th toll, health and mental health victim count arising from deliberate scuttling of the oil gas and coal industry by global megalomaniacs and their armies of paid for froddy scientists, unis, NGOs, colluding cable liars, and billionaire parasites on the Gov’t dole. The temperature stations should be put off in the face of this emergency.
Someone who doesn’t believe anthropogenic emissions contribute greatly to the severity and frequency of forest fires is a sceptic.
David Dibbell and myself are not sceptics.
There is nothing to debate.
Except the totalitarian destruction of the global economy to solve a non problem or any problem for that matter.⁷
Debate won’t stop that. It’s been shown to be pointless year after year after year.
Trump was aware of this but the American people and the dead voters in Nevada rejected him.
Dead voters can suck.
Wow! I have been preaching the last year or so that sceptic climate science is great stuff but the Dark Side encapsulated us years ago, very neatly by refusing to debate and by categorizing us as Deиуегs and shills for fossil fuels. My solution was to shame these people at every opportunity. Alex’s blaming of Michael Mann for The world damage and starvation of as yet unknown numbers of people around the world is the best possible example of the war we should be fighting.
Let’s start making a list of these horrible people and their universities and professors, NGOs, and follow Alex Epsteins’s excellent lead. Let’s research the damage and count and name the victims of the cynical destruction of the main misanthropic perpetrators, and ugly Champampagne Socialists, picket the Davos Crimes Against Humanity Perpetrators…. C’mon Heartland, and others with impact. The science is nice but nobody cares about that. They care about ruination of their own lives and the 100s of millions of unknown victims
Well said Gary,
We have held some public debates here in New Zealand over the years on climate change .
We still have some honest scientists who will speak up as they are nearing retirement .
The proponents of runway climate could not put up a sound case for banning fossil fuels .
Their arguments were easily discredited and they now refuse to debate as their case is so flimsy.
Unfortunately our present government believes that they are helping to save the world from runaway climate change .
The result can only be hardship for the majority of our population with soaring inflation and destruction of our economic base.
One of the main pushers of the Climate Change scam. Number one in litigiousness, right up there with Greta Thunberg in obnoxiousness.
The Green New Deal is great for growth –
it promotes the rampant growth of inflation.
Mainstream climate communicators guard the problem definitions that match their expertise, and lack context and effectiveness for the complex problems of the world. This is the same for any type of specialist expert.
This is why we have politicians. It is in policy debate that these complex problems are meant to be dealt with. However, now instead of politicking we are simply told to “follow the science” for the popular issue of the day, and that there is no debate.
Politicians lean on such slogans to avoid responsibility, and to dodge doing the hard work they are paid to do.
No individual trained in maths, physics, or ‘tree-rings’ is also an expert in economics, humanities, and energy. The climate scientists exhibit exactly the so-called Dunning-Kruger effect. The extreme cognitive bias term that trolls often use as a criticism of skeptics. This, where climate experts obviously do not possess the skills to recognize their own incompetence when it comes to global affairs.
Thank you for posting this key point.
Mann et al should have been pushed off the stage immediately after their paper was published, and energy production / storage / distribution engineers be consulted regarding options for eventual alternative energy sources.
But instead, here we are . . .
AOC can do all that stuff. In her head.
AOC has an economics degree and thinks there are no consequences to printing money. Which indicates:
1. She is an idiot; or
2. Today’s “University” degree isn’t worth the price of the piece of paper it is printed on; or
3. All of the above.
Mike and gang are on top of it all and they have a cunning plan. Petrol and diesel are getting too dear for the poor people as well as changing the weather so we’re all going to get electric rechargeable cars to fix these problems-
South Australia turns to diesel generators as gas shortage and price spike hits (msn.com)
61% gas + 11% diesel needed to power SA, despite them having the world’s biggest Tesla battery.
And the state treasurer comes out with this bit of lunacy –
Of course there has been no increase in cost, you muppet.
That’s because wind & solar are producing s.f.a. for people to buy.
Get a clue.
There is certainly no shortage of blame to go around. Not just the hockey team but countless university professors, most journalists, nearly every politician at every level of government, virtue signaling corporations, and greedy, subsidy truffle pigs.
But I’m happy to see some of the squeekier wheels get the blowback they deserve. Lets hope more of these people get the microscope as energy costs “necessarily skyrocket” to quote somebody who deserves more then a little blame as well.
Mann lied. People died.
The higher cost of almost everything including gas prices is the result of election fraud where people are in elected office without the consent of voters. Election fraud is when voters are cut out of the election with false ballets and machines that count in favor of a candidate regardless of actual votes.
It was democrats that wanted to do away with the punch card system in favor of voting machines. And now we see why. When office holders don’t have to depend on voters approval they are free to do as they please. Blaming Mann is avoiding the issue.
Mann is “The Science” political hacks use to enact a policy of de@th to hundreds of millions and crushing poverty to over half the world. People like Mann, Hansen, Schmidt, Betts, Allen, Rahmstorf, … a bunch of their retired co-crimes against humanity felons, the big institutions, Universities, UN and the big NGO/Government Complex, Champagne Socialist Billionaires… need to be called out, blamed, shamed, for the Greatest Crime Against Humanity Ever Perpetrated. If they arent stopped the cost in human life and health will be horrific.
Increase in heatwaves due to CO2 driven warming? I don’t believe it, rising CO2 forcing should affect the mean temperature not weather variability. Major heatwaves are discretely solar driven, so they must a cause and not a product of climate change.
When did he and Hansen know? The Association of Trial Lawyers wants to know.
Add Penn State to the list.
CO2 is going up. Prices are going. Therefore CO2 causes inflation.
Interest rates are the feedback loop to CO2 driven inflation. Higher interest rates raise prices until we reach the tipping point.
A major consequence of this oil based fuel price inflation is not mentioned enough. In Their glee over trying to force people to buy electric cars by causing this massive fuel price inflation, they don’t consider (or care about) the commensurate increase in the price of heating oil. People who heat with oil generally consume a higher volume of heating oil per year than they do of gasoline. The cost to heat one’s house is now staggering. Heating oil is now about 6 bucks a gallon. Next winter I have a choice between eating or freezing. Converting to electric would be more expensive in usage costs, let alone equipment conversion costs. One can sometimes drive less, but one can’t heat less. Thanks, you lefty bastards.
Yes we can blame Michael Mann and the rest of the climatariat minions for many adverse policies and beliefs, but we must remember these are not wise or ethical people and their claims never came with any convincing evidence. So lets take some responsibility ourselves for electing politicians who make these idiotic policies with no factual foundation, for allowing a vast bureaucracy of equally ignorant but powerful people who can drag us all down the road of economic suicide, and for supporting financially a 5th estate that long ago abdicated it’s role as the seekers and purveyors of truth in favour of selling advertising and novelty.
Who’s WE?! I didn’t elect these fuctards, I vote against them in every election.
I’m sure Mann’s ego would love to take the “credit” for the economic and social disasters we’re facing now but he’s just a small useful idiot in others’ quest for power.
“CAGW” has never been more than just a lever.
I certainly wouldn’t blame Mann personally, but it is entirely appropriate to note that these outrageous and skyrocketing energy prices are a feature, not a bug, of climate change mitigation measures, and the warmunists are entirely to blame for it.
Mann is a lying sack of excrement, but he is well behind people like James Hansen, Al Gore, and Tim Wirth in promoting CAGW as a political religion. I am sure there are others. And they should be named and shamed.
There should now be a museum for the greatest science frauds in history and another wing devoted to agenda science frauds dedicated to “nonprofits.”
Let’s just say Obama/Soros pretty much engineered it all.
Hope they burn for it.
Unfortunately this is a stew with way too many shady chefs, of which Mann is merely a bit player.
Alex blames Mann and those like him, not just Mann himself.
Academics like Mann want fame, prestige and government money for research.
Politicians want the power to control your life.
Those running “green” companies want the billions in government money.
