Attenborough fibbed about hundreds of dead walrus because he wanted what the WEF wants

From Polar Bear Science

Dr. Susan Crockford

As I point out in my new book, Fallen Icon, David Attenborough devised a three year campaign on the falsehood that hundreds of Russian walrus died falling off a cliff due to climate change because he also desired what the World Economic Forum (WEF), meeting online this week, say they want: immediate and drastic changes, supposedly to mitigate an invisible ‘climate emergency’ and other societal ills.

Some of the hundreds of dead walrus blamed on global warming. Basov 2017.

Despite the fact that walrus and polar bears are thriving in the Arctic, this fabricated ’emergency’ seems to be the reason that its new chairman plans to make the G7 into a ‘climate club’.

‘We will no longer wait for the slowest and least ambitious.’

Federal Chancellor of Germany @OlafScholz is calling for a ‘paradigm shift’ in international climate policy.

Watch the #DavosAgenda session here:— World Economic Forum (@wef) January 19, 2022

Let’s see how that goes for him. At the group’s last meeting, they seemed to forget they don’t actually represent world sentiment – or that even among their little cabal, not all of them agree that burning coal is such an evil that it has to end immediately.

These ideological elites simply can’t read the room – they just want what they want regardless of what majority of people want. Lack of success doesn’t make them stop trying.

Attenborough did it for three straight years, defeat after defeat, until the legacy he was after at COP26 died with his failure to make any difference at all.

His relentless messages of fabricated catastrophes, which started with the walrus deception back in 2019, cost him much of the public admiration he’d cultivated for years. I suspect it also contributed greatly to the public’s general loss of trust in science.

My hope is that my book about Attenborough’s shenanigans will open more people’s eyes about how this kind of political advocacy is affecting the great field of science.

Reviews of the book; Kip Hansen at WUWT and Paul Homewood’s Not a Lot of People Know That. If you’ve bought your copy already, thank you for your support. I hope you enjoy it. But please don’t forget to go back and leave a review on Amazon. Early reviews are really important for future sales and the more people that find out about this deception, the better.

In all seriousness, I learned it and CPR. Had to use the Heimlich maneuver to save my significant other after she choked on a breakfast muffin near our North Georgia mountain home. Trick to remember: don’t be gentle. The first air expulsion has the most volume, so the best chance of dislodging the airway obstruction. Just make sure your clenched hands grasp is UNDER the diaphragm. Easy, since the diaphragm is anchored to the lower rib cage.

I’m getting on in years, and have difficulty swallowing. It’s been investigated medically via gastroscopy and barium swallow X-ray, but there’s nothing that can be done.
I have to be very aware of how I’m eating – small bites, and chewed well. On occasion, my concentration lapses or I get distracted, I choke, and it’s nasty and frightening, particularly if I’m on my own.
If this happens, I immediately kneel on the floor and put my head to the floor in an attempt to get gravity to help me expel whatever’s caused the choking. It’s worked well for me,

Two hillbillies walk into a restaurant. While having a bite to eat, they talk about their moonshine operation. Suddenly, a woman at a nearby table, who is eating a sandwich, begins to cough.

After a minute or so, it becomes apparent that she is in real distress. One of the hillbillies looks at her and says, Kin ya swallar?’

The woman shakes her head no. Then he asks, ‘Kin ya breathe?’

The woman begins to turn blue, and shakes her head no.

The hillbilly walks over to the woman, lifts up her dress, yanks down her drawers, and quickly gives her right butt cheek a lick with his tongue.

The woman is so shocked that she has a violent spasm, and the obstruction flies out of her mouth. As she begins to breathe again, the Hillbilly walks slowly back to his table.

His partner says, ‘Ya know, I’d heerd of that there ‘Hind Lick Maneuver’ but I ain’t niver seed nobody do it!’

Thought it might be helpful to catalogue some other ‘climate catastrophe’ biology lies documented in essays in my ebook Blowing Smoke, just to show that Attenborough is in plenty of not so ‘good’ company.
-Red wolves threatened by sea level rise per WWF. In reality, ‘red wolves’ are a coyote/grey wolf hybrid hunted almost to extinction. The remaining ‘coywolves’ were captured in Texas, culled for obvious coyote traits, then bred in captivity until released into Albemarle Sound nature preserve—because there were no coyotes there to again interbreed with.
-American Pika threatened by warming, again per WWF. Pikas live in high altitude mountain rock scree. So thick fur coats to survive winter snow. Extirpated in some Nevada mountain colonies—hence alarm papers. In reality, they thrive throughout the Sierra and Rockies, and the Nevada extirpations were from summer drought.
-Fabricius paper on corals threatened by ‘ocean acidification’ in Milne Bay, Papau New Guinea. She even had pictures of coral loss over CO2 bubbling seeps. Except the 7.8 seep with no corals also bubbled H2S at 150ppm. As lethal as cyanide to marine life at that concentration—Milne Bay is an old volcano caldera.
-PMEL claiming the Netarts Bay Whiskey Creek oyster hatchery spat fail was ocean acidification, when in reality they were taking in upwelling lower pH ocean water, then warming it to induce spawning—while NOT also increasing its pH which happens naturally during summer oyster spawn in estuaries. Netarts Bay is not an estuary, but the hatchery there had to be managed as if it were.

“…H2S at 150ppm. As lethal as cyanide…”

Attenborough is malthusian, and was a firm Eugenic’s fanatic as younger man, and still will be he is just smart enough to keep his mouth shut about it, instead he spouts climate doom and gloom to satiate his malthusian bent.

Just check it out.
One example here
The spirit of eugenics is still with us, as immigrants … › commentisfree › 2019 › oct › 06 › spirit-of-eugenics-is-still-with-us-as-immigrants-know-to-their-cost

And a whole smogus board full here

As I’ve been banging on about for years now

Attenborough is a member of Population Matters, AKA The Optimum Trust, an organisation, in my opinion, is just a front for racism and eugenics

The Optimum Trust accidentally published a spreadsheet showing exactly where the cull of the human population should be, not the whites, just those funny little black and Asians, not the Christians, just those heathen Muslims and Hindus

The link is still available:

Not just in your opinion! The eugenics argument is tenable (just about; I disagree but there is a case to be made) but it strays into racism very quickly because it assumes that white people are superior and therefore if there is to be a limit on population growth it is the feckless “others” who must be stopped!
in reality the planet is not overcrowded. I’ve made the point before that we could give every person alive one-quarter acre of Australia and have the whole of the rest of the planet to support them.
(As a comparison, the new-build standard for volume-builders housing development in the UK is 12 dwellings — ie around 40 people — to the acre!)
UN projections are that world population will stabilise about mid-century and start to decline around 2100. There are some researchers who argue that regions of the planet will be effectively abandoned by 2250 because there won’t be enough people to make them viable. (Personally I wouldn’t like to comment!)
Hans Rosling’s Factfulness is worth reading in this context.

David Attenborough has lived long enough that for a significant part of his life, eugenics was acceptable and mainstream. The last European country – Sweden I believe – to abolish eugenics based law did so only in 1972. I’m sorry to have to say this out of respect for DA but some of his quotations over the years swing close to eugenics, making it clear that he does really believe that the human population should be actively (and maybe selectively) reduced. Climate alarm is the natural vehicle for such Malthusian misanthropy.

Spot on Jeff. Attenborough read the room in the 1990’s and saw that unless he got on board the global warming train he would lose his job at the BBC. Sad because his Life on Earth series in the early 1980’s, in part, was my inspiration to go and study science at uni. Having been taught the skill of scientific critical thinking by some excellent professors, it became more and more obvious to me that Attenborough’s grasp of science, particularly evolution by natural selection, was pretty ordinary.

One post here claims he is a fan of eugenics, I wouldn’t be surprised, the constant implications he makes in many of his shows that some animal or plant has acquired an evolutionary trait because they wanted it and had some control of the process smacks of the worst parts of Lamarckism.

Walrus haul out more now as the sea ice over shallow water recedes further into deep water, faster and earlier than before the 1980s.

The ice is retreating because of climate change.

So climate change IS causing walrus to haul out more and become vulnerable to stampedes etc.

According to Wikipedia walrus haul out onto land primarily for birthing, moulting, nursing and resting whilst they use sea ice haul out for foraging and predator avoidance.

Huge numbers of walrus are regularly seen by satellites at haul outs all round the Arctic so it would seem the walruses are doing just fine except when people with an agenda create a fraudulent situation that results in them throwing themselves over cliffs.
