Guest essay by Eric Worrall
According to Time Magazine, the struggle to keep global warming below 1.5C is all but lost – but governments have to keep spending money.
Did We Just Blow Our Last, Best Chance to Tackle Climate Change?
BY JUSTIN WORLAND DECEMBER 30, 2021 7:00 AM EST
In mid-2020, after the pandemic had settled in, I wrote in a TIME cover story that the stars had aligned to make 2020 and 2021 the “last, best chance” to keep the world from experiencing the worst impacts of climate change. Temperatures have risen more than 1.1°C since the Industrial Revolution, and the COVID-19 pandemic had unexpectedly opened up new pathways to rethink the global economy to help the world avoid the 1.5°C of temperature rise, long seen as a marker of when the planet will start to experience the catastrophic and irreversible effects of climate change.
Now, 18 months later, the world seems poised to blow it. Governments across the globe have failed to spend big on a green economic recovery. Political leaders from the world’s largest economies have made lofty promises to eliminate their carbon footprints but failed to offer concrete policies to get there. And President Joe Biden’s ambitions for bold climate legislation have been stymied in Congress.
The Biden Administration has described its strategy as an “all of government” approach, meaning every agency and official needs to consider how their work can help address the issue. But, despite a swathe of new rules and regulations targeting emissions, the Administration has hinged much of its agenda on a key piece of legislation dubbed Build Back Better.
Without it, or something of equal scale, the target remains an empty promise. “It’s impossible to get from here to there without these investments,” says John Podesta, the former advisor to Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama who now works on climate issues, of the role Build Back Better bill plays in meeting Biden’s goal.

Of course, we all still have an opportunity to atone. No matter how dire the crisis, there always has to be a way back for the climate sinners.
The leaders of the climate movement appear to consciously walk a narrow line between motivational fear and disengaged despair. Anyone who crosses the line gets a smack from fellow Climate activists. In my opinion, none of them appear to care about the very real suffering they inflict on their trusting followers.
Did We Just Blow Our Last Chance to
Tackle Climate ChangeDestroy Economies By Spending $Trillions On A Non-Problem? There, fixed.
I certainly hope so!
Oh fear not – they won’t stop squandering precious resources on the “climate” tail-chasing exercise *just* because we’ve “blown our opportunity to fix” the *non-existent problem* for the tenth time.
Correct. Everyone seems be missing the subtle adjustment to the Last Chance narrative. Now it’s the last BEST chance.
Even as we missed the 8:00 train to Oblivion, the Next Best Chance is upon us.
All aboard the 8:30 train to Oblivion and Despair! Stopping in Socialism, Communism, and Utopia. Last call! All aboard!
In point of fact, there are infinite opportunities to destroy Western Civilization. The enemy will never surrender or admit of defeat.
But what’s going to power that train?
Don’t need money, don’t take fame
Don’t need no credit card to ride this train
It’s strong and it’s sudden and it’s cruel sometimes
But it might just save your life
That’s the power of love
Yep Back to the Future
Great Reset, Build Back Better and New Green Deal – non-government organisation World Economic Forum.
Another arm of the climate hoax octopus.
If we just finished with COP 26, then we have “blown our opportunity to fix” the non-existent problem at least 26 times. Or is it only when the U. S. changes administrations that there’s another “last chance”?
Generally last-chance-this-time-we-mean-it events are announced during a US presidential election where a Republican is running for re-election. Usually some daft irrelevant inbred jug-eared royal counts it off in months or weeks.
It’s of course critical to success that the Republican is defeated so that the world can be saved at the next COP.
But then every COP becomes a last chance during the propaganda run up, regardless of who the president is.
Relax. Nothing is going to happen. We’re all in on climate change action until it affects us personally. Witness what happened when gasoline prices suddenly spiked in the U.S. to levels the rest of the world would consider a bargain. Sleepy Joe immediately panicked and opened the spigots to the emergency oil reserve. He thus countered what would have been an incentive to reduce carbon emissions. Why? Because it affected him and his approval rating.
not a chance
Perfect solutions for a problem that doesn’t exist.
As admitted by various UN Officials, like Christiana Figurers October 2015, climate politics is about changing the capitalist system and redistribution of wealth (developed nation wealth).
YES! WE BLEW IT! ERGO, It;s time to quit trying. Fire the lot of the climate scientists, cancel all their grants, decommission every federal bureaucracy, make the DoD focus on fighting ACTUAL enemies, and stop brainwashing the poor school children. Let them live out their final 8 years in peace (because the world is ending in 2030).
Democrats will never admit, “we missed the last chance”.
If they did, Pelosi/Schumer, and the rest of the gang(sters), would lose all that hard-won, Democrat-government-run, centralized command/control.
If not the global warming brouhaha, they would have to go through the hassle of finding another CRUSADE.
Yep. Then the warmists can STFU.
Now Time, don’t worry there’s always TIME…
If worse comes to worse the temperature record can always be adjusted to WARM the past and shave a few tenths of a degree off the historic record to give the illusion of more time.
While COP 26 was the last best hope, COP 27 will beg be the NEXT LAST BEST HOPE filled by the Subsequent Next Last Best Hope COP 28
Bryan A, there is sure to be a lot of the adjustments you mention, but how do you adjust this: The Berkeley Central Nevada Snow Laboratory just announced a new record December snowfall, over the Sierra between Reno and Sacramento. The old record, 179 inches, set in 1970, has been broken by 202 inches (that’s 17 feet or 5.2 meters), and the snow is still falling. Remember that 1970 kicked off a few years of Scientists alarmed about us plunging into an Ice Age? Now what?
Must be a new “Snow Age”
Better than the SueAge they’ve been pandering
The Mann is suing everyone
That snow story was quickly replaced by the climate change draught that caused the Boulder fire. In the course of headline-writing climate scare science, there is always a new headline to swap out.
They would like to describe the Colorado/Boulder fires, which have now reportedly consumed around 1,000 homes, as due to drought. The reality is that those strong snow storms that set the new snow record continued east and dropped a lot of moisture on the west side of the Rocky Mountains, then did adiabatic warming down the east side and generated wind speeds in excess of 100 mph, which caused electric power lines to touch and throw off sparks, setting the fires. The east slope of the Rocky Mountains is famous for these adiabatic winds, called “Chinook” by the locals.
Maybe Time Magazine will revert to their 1970s front page and inside feature story about a new Little Ice Age developing?
WAVY JET STREAM = BIG TEMP CONTRAST (-38F IN MT, +87F IN AL); RECORD COLD AND SNOW HIT ALASKA; + SASKATCHEWAN BREAKS 16 LOW TEMP RECORDS, SETS NEW POWER USAGE
December 31, 2021 Cap Allon
In these days of catastrophic global warming, Environment Canada have an extreme cold weather alert in place and have urged people to take “extraordinary precautions”…
Meanwhile in the UK
“The Met Office said Merryfield in Somerset has recorded a high of 15.8C – meaning today is the warmest New Year’s Eve on record for the UK.”
Warm is good, saving money on heating.
Cold is bad, old people die from hypothermia.
Ground level temperature: https://www.ventusky.com/?p=47;-34;1&l=temperature-2m
It looks like Merry Old England is south of the jet stream enjoying mild weather. Thank the jet stream configuration for the mild weather. CO2 has nothing to do with it, Griff.
Jet stream is going to poke north for a couple days here in calgary allowing us to get out for supplies before it crashes back down on Wednesday -30
And our wind power will be functional zero still
Yeah, we’ve got a low pressure system sitting out in the Atlantic dragging warm air up from North Africa. It’s predicted to move on early next week and another will start pulling air from the arctic and eastern Europe by about Tuesday – so back to horrible chilly weather then.
Midnight – Anglesey N Wales Watching N Y Eve fireworks = 11.6°C
See the low pressure system to the west.
Everywhere varies by about 20°C year on year. That’s just weather. We have to cope with that.
Once we’ve adapted to the weather we won’t even notice the 2°C from the dreaded AGW.
We can safely ignore it.
Just had a good laugh. Climate scientists everywhere beware. Here is a not-quotable email to a covid scientist from the Guardian:
“You scaremongering ignorant ….f….c ..f… b….f…..f…”
He needs a poke in the i!
Well 2 days ago here in Alberta, OK a little bigger than than the UK, we broke 7 low temp records…..back last Feb. we broke 23 low temp records in one day.
Show off !!!
Before griff comes along to add “highest New Years Eve temp ever in UK” to his famous lists it is well to remember that the highest New Years Day temp in the UK is 15.6C at Bude in Cornwall in 1916, yes 106 years ago.
Of course it may be surpassed today.
Where is the “real pain”. Where are the victims ? Just shut the hell up you climate hoaxers. We are done with you
Yep. Too late. Let’s party.
Like it’s 1999, er, 2009, er, 2019
It’s always a party with you doomsters!
The End Is Nigh! … so let’s get nekkid!
Can’t you get nekkid without the doom talk? There are 1,000 reasons to get drunk off your a$$e$. Pick another one, please.
Happy New Year!
… for example
In short, NO.
Because there is nothing to “tackle.”
Our pittance of “emissions” don’t drive the atmospheric CO2 level, and atmospheric CO2 does not drive the Earth’s temperature anyway. Never has, isn’t now, and never will.
Isn’t this our 19th nervous last chance to tackle climate change? Why yes. Yes, I think it is.
Ha ha. Here it co-omes, here it co-omes …..
Now I won’t be able to get that song out of my head for days. Don’t you just hate the knock-on effects of carbon dioxide ??
They keep saying 1.5 Deg. C but the article by Willis E. shows 2.0 deg. C already and all is well. So funny to read alarmist articles, always “almost too late” forever and on and on. I wish they would shut up and concern themselves with real problems, but they tend to turn a blind eye toward those.
They used to say that 2.0 was the drop dead point.
When it became obvious that the world was not going to warm up by 2.0 degrees, they started claiming that 1.5C was the new drop dead point.
Hey, Time magazine: now wait just one minute! I thought that you picked Greta Thunberg as your “Person of the Year” back in 2019 for the specific purpose of keeping the AGW/CAGW alarmism alive and well for another generation.
Are you now admitting BIG FAIL there?
But there’s no reason to loose faith . . . I assure you that they will be many, many more “last, best chances” coming from the “experts” in such things.
Satchmo said it best:
We have all the time in the world
Harvard Crimson. Iggerant twat History Major. Never had a real job in his life. Straight out of the Climatista kit box. Like John Cooke and the dreadful Oreskes. Honestly how can such horrible useless pseudo intellects consider that the world should listen to them
I suppose a monstrous ego and having some idiot pay you astronomical sums to peddle the crap helps
Yes! What do they bring to the party? They can’t even see CO2 like Tin-Foil Hat Greta.
Um, at least one them can turn skeptics into stone.
The climate Gorgon … I love it.
I’m totally sure that people living ‘at the beginning of the industrial revolution’ would have loved the prospect of a 1.5 degree rise in global temperature (had they been aware of the concept).
“In my opinion, none of them appear to care about the very real suffering they inflict on their trusting followers.”
Neither did Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Castro, Maduro or any other tin pot left wing dictator you can think of.
Who? Oh that one. Nah he doesn’t rate a tin pot.
I’d give him a “Piss Pot”
Be sure it comes with an instruction manual.
In 1988 Time dropped the “Person of the year” issue in favour of “planet of the year”
“Planet of the Year, representing the growing environmental movement as well as several natural and ecological disasters that struck in 1988: among them were the 1988–1989 North American drought, “syringe tide“, 1988 Bangladesh cyclone and 1988 Armenian earthquake, as well as ozone depletion, global warming, radioactive contamination and deforestation.”
This tells you their philosophy…also shows you that most of their memes have come and gone a couple of times since 1988…..now just clickbaiters…
I think 1988 was about the time I terminated my TIME magazine subscription which I’d had since 1960. It was no longer worth reading.
Since CCP virus you can’t even find Time in the doctor’s office.
anybody know exactly what will happen when we cross the dreaded apocalyptic catastrophic end of the world 1.5 C line ? will the ocean suddenly rise 10 feet the year the line is crossed? will all of antarctica and greenland melt .? will there be an endless succession of cat 5 hurricanes ? enquiring minds want to know how to prepare for this inevitable doomsday
Nothing will happen except for the exploding green heads. If they haven’t been chopped off by a very angry people who realise they have been told porkies.
It may be a while before we hit that 1.5C figure. Currently, temperatures are cooling.
Here’s the history:
1910 to 1940 temperatures warmed 2.0C during this period
1940 to 1980 temperatures cooled 2.0C during this period
1980 to 1998 temperatures warmed 2.0C during this period
1998 to 2016 temperatures flatlined during this period
2016 to 2021 temperatures cooled 0.6C during this period.
So, going by that history, it would seem that about 1.4C of additional cooling is in the offing.
So it may be a few decades before we see another 1.5C/2.0C warming period.
Not if the “adjusters” have their way
all of the above?
Who cares what Time Magazine writes or thinks?
Isn’t that the truth? Fifty years ago I couldn’t wait to read it each week. It opened up the world to me. Now they are just another tedious source of leftwing lecturing.
It’s terrible- almost all articles are PC- it’s so bad, I finally stopped a subscription a year ago and it keeps coming! I suspect they lost many subscribers but don’t want to tell their advertising base- so they just keep sending them out and pretending they have millions of subscribers. I don’t even want it for free so I’ll have to call them.
Decades ago, Time Magazine announced that they would no longer give a balanced approach to the debate on gun control. They rationalized that the public had opportunities to hear arguments against gun control through other outlets.
That was the day the magazine ceased to be an objective news source and became a propaganda organ for the owners, editors, and their political friends.
Did Time magazine just blow their last chance to tackle their wretched decline?
I didn’t even know Time Magazine was still in existence.
<sigh> The IPCC is only confident ( from my reading of it ) that 0.7 Degrees come from man made changes to the environment. This includes CO2, infrastructure, land use, methane, etc… 0.7 Degrees in 150 years. YET we people like this who CANNOT UNDERSTAND that even if you IMPLEMENTED the Green agenda’s it will not change anything.
Look the ONLY possible mitigation to CO2 used for energy is Nukes right now and NO ONE ( Political in the USA ) seems willing to say it. Also do we REALLY need it anyway? CO2 is such a minor player in the increase in temperature. MAYBE half, and that is if you factor in the TERRIBLE noise from everything else.
<sigh> Look I am happy to move away from fossil fuels and then observe the results ( should not really change anything ) but only if it is with a SANE replacement.
P.S. I believe energy costs are EVERYTHING. If we had cheep energy we could create so much MORE.
Did We Just Blow Our Last Chance to Tackle Climate Change?
Hmmm, they seem to have short memories. There have been dozens of “last chances” that have come and gone, yet every year there are new “last chances”. And without a doubt, Time Magazine will be printing more of the same for years to come.
Did the boy lose his last chance to fool the villagers with his cry of “Wolf!”?
Eventually, the villagers stopped paying attention to the boy crying wolf all the time, when there was no wolf. I think something similar is happening with the alarmist cries of CO2 climate catastrophe. Many people have stopped paying attention.
But there really was a wolf…
In the fable the wolf was real, they had experienced its coming many times in the past. But after numerous false alarms they learned not to believe the boy.
In this case, there is no “wolf”. Yet, even though the “wolf” never comes. the people somehow won’t learn, they still believe the fearmongers.
People in the fable were smarter than modern-day suckers.
After all these years of doomsayer predictions failing, everyone should realize they’re being conned. It’s mind boggling that they don’t. I don’t hold out much hope for humanity.
And climate does really change. However, the question is whether humans are driving the change and if it is realistic to expect the change will be catastrophic. The facts are not in evidence.
“2020 and 2021 the “last, best chance” ” #41 ?
If only the weather understood how it was being controlled by the annual mean temperature, it would surely break free and behave itself.
“According to Time Magazine, the struggle to keep global warming below 1.5C is all but lost – but governments have to keep spending money.”
So far as I know, there is no science behind that 1.5 deg. C threshold claim. It is political garbage.
Considering the fact that this is the same TIME magazine that was selling the new Ice Age scare back in the 1970’s that turned out to be (should we say) much ado about nothing, I wonder if TIME’s editorial staff even realizes the fools they can be painted as now with CAGW.
Justin Worland seems to be a fairly regular source of articles like this one. As much as I would like to do so, I won’t make any derogatory remarks about him and his bosses at TIME. Needless to say, it is easy for people like me to tell the difference between propaganda and indoctrination on one hand and honest, sound journalism on the other.
TIME probably abandoned the tenets of sound journalism some time ago, and they are not alone. They would have to pay me to subscribe, and it would cost them a fortune.
“I won’t make any derogatory remarks about him and his bosses at TIME”
Worland and his bosses are lying frauds.
“So far as I know, there is no science behind that 1.5 deg. C threshold claim.”
That’s my understanding, too, that is was an economist saying that was the threshold where the cost in GDP or some measure went decisively toward CO2 reduction vs. remediation… or some such thing. I can’t find a reference, though. Anybody have one?
It is a WAG. Or, There is no there there.
Unlike Snipes, so you can find a Snipe. 1.5 and 97 are just odd numbers.
From the article: “Temperatures have risen more than 1.1°C since the Industrial Revolution”
This occurred during 2016, the warmest year in the 21st century. Currently, the Earth’s temperatures have cooled off by about 0.6C. The author failed to mention that.
The author should also explain how we are getting 0.6C of cooling while at the same time CO2 amounts are increasing in the atmosphere. The alarmist claim is that increased CO2 means increased temperatures, but the Real World doesn’t seem to be working that way.
The alarmist author seems oblivious to these facts.
“none of them appear to care about the very real suffering they inflict on their trusting followers.”
The suffering is the goal, it helps assuage the guilt of prosperity and a generally easy life. If you’re not suffering, you must not be engaged in a worthy struggle, and who doesn’t want to feel like they’re engaged in a struggle to save the planet from humanity.
I do not think we need to save the planet from humanity. I think we need to save humanity from humanity.
African sayng: Humanity is the cure for humanity.
“The suffering is the goal”. It’s worth noting explicitly that the suffering is for the followers, not the leaders.
“rethink the global economy”
yuh, just like that- we’ll rethink – no problemo
We now have the highest worldwide standards of material wellbeing, health and lifespan since Man fell out of the trees. Extreme poverty is being reduced by the wonderful economic system we currently have. And they want English Lit. students to “rethink the global economy.”
Is this guy delusional?
Way out OT:
If you just got a brand new i-phone built in India and you are not feeling your usual normal, you might be interested in this:
Times is reporting: “For weeks, workers had battled against wave after wave of illness as they toiled to build iPhones destined to sit under Christmas trees across the globe. Factory bosses promised action as more and more workers suffered debilitating cramps and sickness. Yet nothing changed.
In mid-December, 150 workers who had eaten dinner at the vast factory making Apple gadgets in Sriperumbudur, near Chennai in India, became violently ill and were taken to hospital with vomiting and diarrhoea. Another 100 needed medical treatment for what doctors recorded as an outbreak of dysentery.”
Not to worry, there will be more “last chances” where the ones that have passed came from.
It’s already too late to stop these “It’s already too late” proclamations.
Ditched Time subscription in favor of the Economist 20 years ago, but have been letting that one lapse as it’s gone full alarmist as well
Not to worry! There’s always 1.6C. And 1.7C. And so on. At the Last Chance Climate Saloon, it can never be “too late”.
I have been an avid follower of WUWT since the very beginning. It, like Instapundit, has been a shining beacon in a darkening world.
We have spent years arguing and clarifying the scientific aspects of AGW but apparently to no avail. Those that would not hear wouldn’t listen.
What IS amusing is that it now seems that the whole scam will not be taken down by scientific arguments and the endless minutiae of facts and data, but instead AGW will fall for the most basic of reasons – the unrelenting and unforgiving laws of economics. The Gods of the Copybook Headings, if you will.
Reality is a heartless bitch.
” Did We Just Blow Our Last Chance to Tackle Climate Change? ”
Yes, we did.
But the next best last chance, or next last best chance, or whatever, is on its way and will arrive soon.
According to Hadsst3 the 1980 temperature was about the same as in the 1940s. The UAH global temperature was about -0.25 C in 1980. Given the current UAH temperature anomaly of 0.08 C that would tell us we’ve warmed about 0.3 C in the past 80 years. Any warming prior to that time is usually considered mostly natural.
Not sure when that 1.1 C of warming occurred. Certainly wasn’t when humans were emitting the most CO2. It appears 0.8 C of the warming was natural and only 0.3 C was due to humans.
Oh, brother!!!! This obsession with the need to control the uncontrollable is unhealthy. Here is my response to that inquiry:
Did We Just Blow Our Last, Best Chance to Tackle Climate Change? – Justin Whatshisname
No, we did not “blow” anything. The reality that you refuse to face is that no human can control this planet and what it does. I’d bet money you think volcanoes can be stopped from erupting. Never has worked.
As a result of your refusal to admit that you are powerless to do anything, including control your own GI tract’s behavior, my suggestion to you is that you stop obsessing about such things and step away from the computer. Go outside without your coat on this winter and yell “STOP!!!” at a heavy snowstorm and let me know if the snow stops falling right away, OK?
Otherwise, please get some help with your obsession. We’re supposed to have a blizzard in my AO this next week. Looking forward to it because I can make a truly bodacious pot of soup while I watch the snowplows burrow along the road. It’s a shame that you can’t enjoy the real world the way I and others do.
Of course volcanoes can be stopped. Just throw Greta in…
Nope, it has to be a Virgin….
And due to all the Sex Ed classes in the lower Elementary schools, we don’t have any of those left.
Not followers; potential victims. A big difference.
You mean the weekly round robin of press releases by Federal agencies under Obama and Biden are not enough?
These people crying that a 1.5C increase in average global temperature spells doom for us and our planet are really starting to bore me. A 1.5C increase is certain catastrophe and they admit that the average temperature has already increased 1.1C. By my reckoning we are 73% of the way to doom. Funny I don’t feel doomed, is doom linear or logarithmic? If it is linear shouldn’t a certain percent of us have died off by now? Maybe it is logarithmic and we will all die off at the very end. Whatever I don’t buy it.
Temperature harvesting has a way to go before living up to it’s promise.
The motor vehicle industry is not making any profits from manufacturing and selling EV, they cannot compete on price with their own ICEV models producing an equivalent EV model. The EV transition is based on government regulating against ICEV, and to quote one motor industry senior executive: “EV is over hyped”.
And worst of all EV are recharged by mostly fossil fuelled generators worldwide.
Another waste of money like the transition to unreliable so called renewable energy installations.
Why do people think that if humans reduce emitting CO2 that global average temperatures will drop?
There is no evidence of that anywhere. Are the just hoping?
The same reasons why sales and marketing sells products and services.
Advertising and selling to people who in the majority are receptive and in the climate hoax example many are frightened by the deception.
However, advertising campaigns have a short attention life span and if repeated over and over people stop taking notice.
5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1.5..
WHAT SCIENTISTS KNEW FOR SURE IN 2001
Fossil fuel emissions is causing atmospheric CO2 concentration to go up and that in turn is causing global mean temperature to go up. If we don’t take climate action to reduce and eliminate emissions, the temperature will continue to go up and when it warms 5C above pre-industrial, warming will become irreversible – meaning that it will no longer be possible to attenuate warming with climate action and that will make it impossible for us to save the planet.

How is it that Earth recovered from the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum?
The whole CO2 is Bad thing is designed to distract people from the real problems.
We are supposed to move on and forget the climate hoax pitches of the past, for example at the Kyoto Japan IPCC Conference the focus was on reducing “greenhouse gas emissions” with no specific reference to Carbon Dioxide, not suggestion that it is “carbon pollution”.
By Paris France the Paris Agreements were signed by various member nations in 2016 following the Paris Conference at the end of 2015 and focus on Carbon Dioxide reduction by 2030, and the next step “zero carbon emissions” by 2050.
And of course the point of no return, the tipping point, that date moves forward as the previous date is reached.
And the UN attempted to change the goal posts by reducing the 2030 timing and increasing the already agreed targets of nations.
You mean like vested interests’ hand in their pocket?
I’m going to do my part.
If I ever need a wheelbarrow, I’ll only buy an EV wheelbarrow.
(As long as it comes with a subsidy or tax break.)
I sure hope it is our “last chance”.
Maybe they’ll shut up about all the CAGW BS they’ve been spewing for decades?
Seem they’re priming Covid-19, variant (fill in the blank), to scare people into submitting to their authority.
Keep people scared of something.
I have every confidence that Cop 89 will still be claiming that we have only 11 years to save the world.
“the Administration has hinged”. That shoud read “the Administration is UN-hinged” Fixed.
God I hope so
The climate side of BBB was a hoax too. 90% was tax credits, which you only get if you make a profit, for things that would never make a profit.
BBB will be split into three or more massive stimulus bills which Mitch McConnell and the RINO Republicans in the Senate will be only too happy to support.
These stories are becoming as routine and ho-hum as the annual Groundhog Day report from Punxsutawney. Cub enviro reporters get the assignment to repeat ad infinitum the “last chance” meme, and it’s just about as believable as the groundhog.
“… And President Joe Biden’s ambitions for bold climate legislation have been stymied in Congress.”
A bill that gets (or would get) 51 “No” votes is dead. “D E D – Dead” as some movie character once said.
How quaint Time Mag featuring the child diddler John Podesta…
