Californian Criminal Justice Professor Charged with Serial Arson

Guest essay by Eric Worrall

h/t Dr. Willie Soon; Professor Maynard allegedly set a series of devastating fires, the Cascade and Everitt fires, on July 20 and 21, and the Ranch and Conard fires on August 7 in 2021. Professor Maynard has denied setting the fires.

University professor is charged with starting four California wildfires as deadly Dixie blaze raged nearby: He faces 20 years in prison and $250,000 fine for each count of arson

By ASSOCIATED PRESS and ALEX HAMMER FOR DAILYMAIL.COM

PUBLISHED: 09:52 AEDT, 19 November 2021 | UPDATED: 05:40 AEDT, 20 November 2021

Gary Stephen Maynard, 47, faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for each count of arson to federal property, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of California said in a statement.

The blazes threatened to trap firefighters as they battled the massive Dixie blaze – the second-largest wildfire in California history – nearby, prosecutors said.

Federal prosecutors say Maynard, a resident of San Jose, set four blazes: the Cascade and Everitt fires, on July 20 and 21, and the Ranch and Conard fires on August 7.

U.S. Forest Service agents started investigating Maynard on July 20 after the Cascade Fire was reported on the western slopes of Mount Shasta.

Tracking his movements for hundreds of miles, investigators said Maynard traveled to the area where the Ranch and Conard Fires erupted in the Lassen National Forest.

Maynard appears to have taught briefly at Santa Clara University and Sonoma State University, where a Gary Maynard was listed as a lecturer in criminal justice studies specializing in criminal justice, cults and deviant behavior. He is no longer with either school.

After suspicions were aroused, the Daily Mail claims police planted a tracker on Professor Maynard’s vehicle, and claim his movements were very suspicious. But after the way the media covered recent high profile cases, my trust in mainstream media is at rock bottom. Lets let the courts do their job.

The number of forest fires went down by 90% in the last 100 years(that’s why the Biden regime is no longer showing statistics prior to the 80ies)
and so did the number of natural disaster victims,
therefore artificial problems have to be created to justify global Marxism.

And there is no real difference between this guy or a mainstream climate scientist or the MSM.
They create the harmful inflammatory nonsense(be it real or virtual ),they will terrorize you until you
vote for the party/pretendisent they want
until you give up everything for AGW
until you bow down to diversity, equity and inclusivity(especially in terms of forced vaccination )
until you surrender all rights to the greater causd.

Unless you personally witnessed it, there is always doubt. Without doubt, all you have left is faith. Faith that the media is not distorting the story, faith that the cops didn’t cut corners or frame this guy, faith that the state isn’t concealing exculpatory evidence, faith that you know with absolute certainty the motivations of the arsonists, etc.

As an atheist, I’m always suspicious of faith. I think there is a very strong possibility/probability that many of these fires are being set deliberately by climate cultists, but I will always reserve a little room for doubt.

Without witnesses there is reason and logic based upon the physical and circumstantial evidence and the knowledge to understand and interpret that evidence. There can be sufficient evidence to be certain one has the right person without there being any witnesses.

I guess you never read Sherlock Holmes. In some of the stories a witness or witnesses were conspirators doing their best to mislead the investigator that were only exposed by the proper interpretation of the physical evidence. Though those stories are fiction, the investigative principles upon which they were based are sound examples of reason and logical deduction based on the evidence.

During this time I camping in the area including 4 days in a campground at Lassen National Park, 2 days at a National Monument campground, 2 days at a forest service campground.

I live full time in a self contained motor home. I tow a Honda Civic for exploring.

Camping is allowed on US public unless it is not allowed for some reason. I explore for good places to boondock in my little car to avoid getting the big MH stuck. I have gear in case I get high centered.

In the semi arid forest of the US west, complaint it is not usual during fire season to see signs posting no campfires or areas closed.

What I find interesting when reading this is that there is special agents out in the woods.

Andrew Marr’s decision to leave the BBC was prompted by his desire to speak freely on environmental issues, as well as politics, and escape the daily online attacks he faces, it is believed.”

In the UK this report would be illegal.
We have the principle of “Innocent until proven Guilty”. Slurring an innocent man’s name is not acceptable in the UK.
Also if the media does report on decision under judicial process the defendant can claim that he cannot get a fair trial and thus get an acquittal.

The Greek fires were deemed to be arson, too, but the perps will likely never be caught and the damage done will take a long time to recover. It wasn’t just plants that were damaged/destroyed. The bees that “nurse” them were killed off and will take a very long time to recover, too.

This college professor/arsonist is NOT an outlier in today’s increasingly kinetic political/cultural wars.
A female teacher was also arrested recently for forest arson.

This aligns with the arrests in the Berkley and Sacramento areas of both educators and college personnel (cooks, facility workers, etc.) for assaults during demonstrations … frequently in Antifa garb.
This is how the shadow army of soldiers is being paid for, maintained, and on call to unleash havoc as per their directives.

This is a serious, highly organized threat, (administrators willfully creating and maintaining this human infrastructure) unwittingly paid for via public funds.

The ‘climate’ change’ canard* rests on the foundation that longwave infrared radiation (LWIR) is the culprit of the increased heating, because carbon dioxide, methane, and water vapor are robust absorbers of LWIR. This is true, but what we’re not told is that this LWIR is ONLY released by the surface at nighttime, not daytime! When we look at illustrations of Earth’s Energy Budget…

https://www.nasa.gov/feature/langley/what-is-earth-s-energy-budget-five-questions-with-a-guy-who-knows/

…left out of the diagrams are the times of the day the two energy types are released, and for good reason. The two energy types are (1) LWIR that comes in at 358.2 Wm2 (watts per meter squared); and (2) thermals that come in at 18.4 Wm2. The former heats the night, while the miniscule amount of 18.4 Wms is what heats the daytime hours.

Wasn’t that easy? Fraud not only made easy, but so easy even an elementary school student will be shocked at the deception, where nighttime hours are warmer than daytime hours! The energy types are, of course, reversed, where daytime energy levels constitute 358.2 Wm2, while nighttime energy levels constitute 18.4 Wms. And during the day only shortwave infrared radiation (SWIF), that isn’t absorbed by ‘greenhouse gasses’, is being emitted by the surface, the surface too warm during the day to be emitting anemic LWIR.
———————
* Not to be confused for ‘climate alteration’ that’s taking place thanks to man heating the atmosphere. The difference being that the “change” in climate change can be reversed by lowering carbon dioxide, though there is no reason to do so due to carbon dioxide’s benefits, and the fact that carbon dioxide is a robust COOLANT in Earth’s atmosphere; heating is occurring due to increased man-made heat sinks on the surface (cities, roads, automobiles’ metals, etc.), and when these heat sinks are manufactured, carbon dioxide is the industrial by-product.

Left Out of IPCC Models: Atmospheric Thermodynamics AWOL

Climate change mechanics conspires to do away with the physics of the atmosphere, where action and reaction is abandoned. When a new gas molecule is introduced into the atmosphere, dislocation takes place, where if the new molecule is denser than the atmosphere (contains less heat energy), such as carbon dioxide, the gas molecule sinks displacing upwards the warmer nitrogen and oxygen molecules, thereby immediately cooling the area of dislocation. As warmer nitrogen and oxygen molecules rise, they in turn push downwards cooler nitrogen and oxygen molecules, further cooling the atmosphere.
Conversely, if the new gas molecule has more heat energy than the nitrogen-oxygen based atmosphere (such as methane), the new molecule rises, displacing relatively cooler nitrogen and oxygen molecules downwards, which displaces upwards relatively more heat retaining nitrogen and oxygen molecules, thereby cooling the area of dislocation.
Thermodynamics in action in the atmosphere that keeps the Earth cool when increased radiation isn’t the new variable introduced.
