Harry is making a strong for Hypocrite of The Year Award!!
The Duke of Sussex has been labelled a “hypocrite” for choosing to take the two-hour flight back to his mansion in Montecito via the £45million Gulfstream jet. He boarded the 20-seater plane, which is believed to belong to one of his friends, U.S. businessman Marc Ganzi.
Royal author Tom Quinn said this move “appears to be enormously hypocritical” given the 36-year-old royal’s talk about climate change. He told The Sun that it is a “huge blind spot” for the duke who “seems to see himself as someone who guides the rest of the world and that his own behaviour isn’t relevant.”
The online community also bashed Prince Harry with one Twitter user calling him a “total hypocrite” and another claiming he relied on “privilege.”
“Yesterday Prince Harry took a private jet home from a polo match — after lecturing us all about how climate change is one of the world’s “most pressing issues. A total hypocrite. Elite environmentalism is about telling the little people to know their place,” the user wrote.
In May, Prince Harry told Oprah Winfrey that mental health and climate change are two of society’s “most pressing issues.” He acknowledged that people “are doing as best they can to try and fix these issues.” He also talked about its damaging effects to the generations to come.
“With kids growing up in today’s world, pretty depressing, right, depending on where you live, your home country is either on fire, it’s either underwater, houses or forests are being flattened,” he said in his interview in his Apple TV+ documentary.
Prince Harry has reportedly made four trips via private jet in 11 days despite his stance against the effect of CO2 emissions on the climate. A single jet alone can emit two tonnes of CO2 in an hour. His flight to Aspen was for a charity polo match for his co-founded Sentebale charity. Ironically, he also took a private jet to a climate change summit in Sicily. It is said that in 2019 alone he took six private jet flights.
He actually jetted from one state to another in the US, a 750 mile trip, in a “friends” US$45 million jet to play a game.
Prince Harry is poorly educated bloke, did his bit in Afghanistan OK, got fine with his military comrades, now he should shut-up, go and do his own thing whatever that happen to be.
Harry is a spoilt brat who, despite having a very privileged life, bitterly resents the fact that he will always be second fiddle to his older brother. Sooner or later, his VIP ‘friends’ will stop taking his calls and avoid him as the whining loser that he is grates on them as well. He and Me-gain deserve each other.
You forgot to mention a second fiddle to his wife as well.
He should have stayed in the service & married one of this comrade’s sisters. It would have kept him normal.
Harry was educated at Eton. A school with extremely exacting standards for pupils who are ready willing and able to take advantage of this privileged education. The fact that Harry seems uneducated speaks volumes for a genetic origin of smartness. Prince Chuck and Princess Di also had education at fine establishments without appearing to be hugely well educated and showing high academic attainment. Maybe its true that you just cant educate pork.
If Eaton even gives grades in the traditional sense … I expect Harry received straight A’s. Right?

A little trivia. The Moss Nagant rifle is one of the most produced in history. It served as the Russians basic infantry rifle and sniper rifle starting in 1891 and was copied by many. Exactly the point I was making in a previous episode about a scheme to insulate older public housing, unfortunately portrayed in the post as a boondoggle.
The age and style of much of Britain’s housing makes adding insulation awkward. A suggestion was made that they should tear down and start over, but you can see why this is impossible. Britain has old housing and they’re stuck with it.
The only path forward is to insulate and rehab the old stuff.

OT but thought I would mention that hurricane Ida looks like it will come ashore with higher wind speeds than Katrina did 16 years ago today. As of 05:00 CDT maximum sustained wind was 145 mph making it a powerful CAT IV. Katrina came ashore in the same area with 125 mph max sustained winds. Ida’s wind field not quite as vast as Katrina’s and core pressure not quite as low at this time.
Anyway one cuts it, this is going to be bad. So prepare for the climate change doomsayers to climb out of the wood work.

It will be interesting to see if the flood control systems and levies that are supposed to help protect “The Chocolate City”, ie: New Orleans, have been improved since that time. You may remember the the mayor of the Chocolate City back then, Ray Nagin, had diverted funds intended for updating the Levies and flood control systems to other purposes. Just wondering if a lesson was learned? I doubt it, but could be wrong.
I have faith that the Army Corp of Engineers did their part but I would not be surprised at all if since then the politicos have ignored the systems.
One thing I predict for certain. The Federal response will be found wanting again and some democrat or leftist mouth piece will blame anything bad that happens on Trump!

It’s a mildly amusing urban myth but as Diana only met James Hewitt 2 years AFTER Harry was born, they’d have needed some form of time travel. Given the number of books written by palace insiders, staff (including close protection officers) and close friend’s, all of whom support the fact that Harry was born before she met the man alleged to be his father, it doesn’t seem to hold up to scrutiny. Looking at the castles in Europe which are impressive it is obvious the royals took much of the money for themselves as compared to the houses of Washington and other founders of the US. True they had to fortify but the divine right of kings is a bit too much.
We are seeing some of the royal touch here in the US with the billionaires setting themselves apart in terms in terms of speech, ownership and voting. In other words they wish to remake us into serfs.
True but those European houses date from hundreds of years before the USA and were steadily built up over several centuries. The houses of many of the founders of the US were built all in one go and are much the same today as when they were built, give or take a little bit of renovation. It’s comparing apples and oranges.

Where each rider (4 per side) have 4 horses per person (typically). Now horses are nice etc but that is a lot of infrastructure that needs looking after, stable hands, horse boxes, trainers etc . All cavorting around the country creating CO2 which keeps poor Harry awake at night.
