‘Green Fraud’ author: Goal of UN climate change report is to ‘scare everyone’

Marc Morano slams ‘political lobbying arm’ pretending to be science panel

From Fox

MARC MORANO: This is what the U.N. does every three to five years and it’s essentially—you don’t have to trust the science. They’re asking you to trust institutions and this is a political lobbying arm of the United Nations that pretends to be a science panel. They were started in 1988. Their goal is to scare everyone to convince you into “climate action.” Al Gore has said these reports are “torqued up.” How else do you get the attention of policymakers? One of the lead authors on this report actually says he hopes it impacts the way people vote.

The UN climate change report and the IPCC have only one aim and that is to terrify and frighten the World into submission before them and stop people thinking. They are not interested in ‘science’ except in so far as they can buy up scientists and use them for their evil aims.

Start ruing. In 2002, Republican consultant Frank Luntz wrote a memo arguing that Republicans start using ‘Climate change’.

“ ‘Climate change’ is less frightening than ‘global warming,’ ” he wrote. “While global warming has catastrophic connotations attached to it, climate change suggests a more controllable and less emotional challenge.”

Luntz was just reiterating Potsdam fundraisers. The “pause” started in 1998 and risked taking some starch out of the “global warming” theme, plus “climate change” allowed claims of anthropogenic root cause of weather phenomena that actually runs counter to GW projections…. snow and lack thereof, droughts and floods, stronger winds but weaker ocean currents, and so on…generally allowing a higher level of presstitution….

That’s why I can’t be bothered discussing the so called “science” ad nauseam … from any of the multiplicity of view points. No one has got it right so far. It just goes round and round. I’m satisfied with what I have observed and what I know to be true. This planet has never been a more benign place for humans and they’re trying to screw it up for everyone.

Greg: He doubtless imagines himself to be very smart, despite not being able to do better than this incoherent gibberish.”

Greg, I finally deciphered what Mr. ingraham is on about. It took me a long time to suss it all out.

It seems Mr. “Let’s make Griff and Loydo look good” believes that CO2 is the climate control knob. We are about to fall off the oil cliff thus CO2 levels will start plummeting. We’ll all freeze in the dark and no one will be able to grow food… and all that has already started.

So…. thats why all the ‘liberals’ are going to die.

a) From his POV, We’re all obviously a bunch of liberal dumbasses here because we’re still discussing Climate.. which is obviously pointless since it’s all over but the shouting… unless we switch to trains and move into cities… but windmills don’t work… and something-something…

2) Proof that we’re all liberal dumbasses is that we can’t comprehend or keep up with his brilliant, tightly reasoned arguments. How can we not listen and instantly comprehend the sheer brilliance of his expositions? It’s all so obvious, no explanations are really necessary.

iii) It’s also an object lesson for parents everywhere: Don’t let your child’s Ritalin prescription run out.
(I’m not sure if a winky goes after iii or not.)

When the opportunity arises in idle chit-chat out in public – people still talk about the weather – I always refer to Global Warming and with the fewest of exceptions I get knowing eyerolls. (Always when it’s snowing and Hell is in danger of freezing over.)

Runaway warming was overplayed early on and Global Warming did stick in minds as the dominant catastrophe facing the Earth. Most people, even those well into the left side of the intelligence bell curve, have seen enough that they no longer buy into CAGW.

So always use ‘Global Warming’ when ‘Climate Change’ comes up.

A few years…https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_proven_oil_reserves

Not going to speak to the accuracy of Wiki, however for discussion it would appear that there is plenty of oil left in the world for hundreds of years worth of use. Considering that the US has had 15 years of reserves for the last 50 years, one can safely assume that as oil becomes more expensive, more oil becomes available.

Seriously, given the changes in energy usage and increases in energy efficiencies and the improvement in the tech to reach the oil, the last thing you need to worry about it peak oil.

John D.
Reply to  Kstills
August 11, 2021 9:53 am

Having worked in the oil industry the view then and now is that there is likely enough oil in the gound and under the seabed to last us many hundreds of years. However, it is all about the economics of extraction. As the extraction technology advances and the cost of getting the stuff reduces then it can be accessed.

One of the reasons that peak oil has been feared for the last 140 years is that it was not thought possible with the then existing technology to ever get the hydrocarbons from under such places as the North Sea, west of Shetland, and the Gulf of Mexico. Nor did we even know it was there in many cases.

“There was once a young Shepherd Boy who tended his sheep at the foot of a mountain near a dark forest. It was rather lonely for him all day, so he thought upon a plan by which he could get a little company and some excitement. He rushed down towards the village calling out “Wolf, Wolf,” and the villagers came out to meet him, and some of them stopped with him for a considerable time. This pleased the boy so much that a few days afterwards he tried the same trick, and again the villagers came to his help. But shortly after this a Wolf actually did come out from the forest, and began to worry the sheep, and the boy of course cried out “Wolf, Wolf,” still louder than before. But this time the villagers, who had been fooled twice before, thought the boy was again deceiving them, and nobody stirred to come to his help. So the Wolf made a good meal off the boy’s flock, and when the boy complained, the wise man of the village said:

“A liar will not be believed, even when he speaks the truth.””

One simple question should be at the forefront – Why AR6? Surely the science was settled decades ago and it is a simple matter of ticking off the predictions in the IPCC 1992 Assessment Report.

The current update should be a 4 pager with predicted climate against what has actually occurred.

Like is sea level increase acceleration:
https://tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/sltrends/residual1980.shtml?stnid=680-140
Nope!

Are temperatures increasing:
http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/enso/indices.shtml?bookmark=nino3.4
Nino34 anomaly still around the same temperature for the last 4 decades – some El Nino years and som La Nina years.
No need to change scale globally; always between -2 and 32C:

Has atmospheric water increased:
comment image
Depends where you look but it has been up and down since 1990 and no particular trend.

Has precipitation increased:
http://climexp.knmi.nl/data/igpcp_23_0-360E_-90-90N_n_a.png
