Mercifully, when Greta turns 18 in just 37 days time, her fibs and tantrums will no longer be acceptable. She will lose her status as the Child High Priestess of the Climate Cult of Doom and Gloom. Thus, we can “look forward” to her making a last few scaremongering videos to etch the memories of childhood innocence (that she is a puppet.)
We might have a simple ceremony in Sydney with a Swedish Princess cake (yes, there is such a cake) to mark her coming of age.
As for Trudeau, he deserves all the ridicule the planet can heap on him-it will be good to bury some of his hot air.
If she has any sense she will dump her sires and start helping humans.
(They are not parents, as they teach her violence – look at the ‘antifa’ t-shirts they wear, for example.)

I can understand Trudeau getting pranked, but it’s surprising that the Fake Greta phone call made its way through the various call screeners that *should* block potentially phony phone calls. Our tax dollars at work, I guess.
Justine and his crew are suckers for any hint of adulation.
Doesn’t matter to “dress-up boy” where the adulation comes from, as long as it pumps up his tires.

If Biden uses palmists for his inspiration, then we are in trouble. Ghalfrunt, on the other hand, is just dumb and thinks drinking bleach will cure you of Covid.

Um. . . is this real? Is this prank actually a prank? What’s the source? Are we sure that these aren’t really voice actors putting on a play? As has been pointed out above by PaulH, it is surprising that there were no verification filters that would have caught the fake Greta out.
It certainly has been well-verified that Trudeau met with Greta for real. I thought that that was pretty lame, and a stark indicator of Trudeau’s essentially lazy and shallow nature. I would be surprised if Trudeau has ever worked more than four hours a day as prime minister unless Parliament was in session. It sure hasn’t taken much to get him to hide out at the cottage for months on end.
I remain unconvinced, Rich. The Prime Minister of Canada has a phone number that is so insecure that Russian pranksters can find out what it is? And he doesn’t have call display, or a block on all incoming calls except the ones on a list of approved callers? Or aides to the Prime Minister are so gullible that they will give out the number to someone claiming to be Greta Thunberg without a diligent investigation of the person asking for the number? Or that aides to the Prime Minister were in on the joke, and then released the audiotape of the call, which would of course embarrass the Prime Minister? Nah.
And just because reputable news organizations like the BBC went with it does not necessarily support the proposition that the story is true. I’m a Canadian and this is the first I’ve heard of it, and I follow the national news every day. This is such an interesting story that, if it were true, it would have made it onto the news broadcasts of our national broadcaster, the CBC. The Americans would certainly have picked it up. But those things didn’t happen.
And another thing: Supposedly this prank happened in January. Why the long delay in revealing the successful prank to the public? If you had fooled the Prime Minister, and you worked in show business, wouldn’t you tell everybody right away?
Although, if it is a fake, it is skillfully done, because Trudeau’s voice and evasive style of answering unwelcome questions is mimicked very well. I’m doubtful but also unsure of my doubts.
