Halloween Climate Scare #7: Syrians Are Fleeing Due to Climate Change

This is the fourth of 10 videos highlighting false climate scares by climate alarmists. This one shows how Al Gore claims Syrian refugees are fleeing the nation due to climate change, not war. False, again. Happy Halloween! And find real scares this year, not fake ones the climate alarmists have foisted on your children. Learn more about what’s really happening to our climate (it’s not scary) here: http://climatechangereconsidered.org/

Has anybody seen the Mrbeast youtube channel? He is helping to raise enough money to planet 20 million trees, he has donated 100 thousand dollars, and needs some help, one dollar = one tree. I thought any help from this site would would be nice. Even though the weather is just mother nature, everybody likes trees, so any help, even a dollar, towards planting trees is good. It’s more then what xr or any other crackhead climate groups are doing…

This is not exactly the best time of the year to say that everyone likes trees, especially those of us that have to clean up after or under them.
Do like the bloody footprints leading into these videos!

Where are the trees being planted? That’s what people need to ask before donating money to that cause. Is it a good idea to donate money to plant trees somewhere where they eventually will be logged, or in a third world country where they will be cut down for firewood once they get large enough?

Arbour day foundation, a non profit organization is planting the trees, this is their website https://www.arborday.org/ Mrbeast is around California I believe, so the trees he and his viewers plant will be around California.. Personally I perfer planeting millions of trees, then being told not to drive my car, or to give up all fossil fuels… If the trees keep the climate crackheads happy, then I will help planet as many as I can afford. Plus I love trees, forests, so more the better (if planted for keeping and not logging etc etc.

Still remember when Al Gore set up carbon offsets. Some naughty people checked. Forests were being clear felled in some areas so that Al could arrange tree planting.

Arbor day foundation typically plants a very small listing of trees. Most are not supportive of wildlife.
e.g.: From Arbor Day Foundation website:
“3 White Flowering Dogwoods, 3 American Redbuds, 2 Sargent Crabapples, 2 Washington Hawthorns +more”

2 Arrowwood Virburnum, 1 Colorado Blue Spruce, 1 Bur Oak, 1 Gray Dogwood, 1 Northern Red Oak, 1 River Birch, 1 Sargent Crabapple, 1 Tuliptree, 1 Washington Hawthorn +more

10 Oak Trees details
10 White Pine details
10 American Redbud details
10 Norway Spruce details
10 Autumn Classics details
10 White Fir details
10 Eastern Redcedar details”

Typically, arbor day foundation trees supplied for mass plantings are a very small selection of trees with large quantities of redbud or norway spruce and very few others.

Some like Eastern Red Cedar are common enough to be considered pests. Eastern Red Cedar is one of the trees that sprouts first in fields left fallow. Farmers allow the cedar trees to reach heights and thicknesses they need and then cut them down; e.g. planting stakes, fence posts

You want to plant trees?
Select trees that benefit your local wildlife with food or shelter and plant those specifically. Virtue signalling through Arbor Day Foundation doesn’t rebuild mixed forests or support wildlife as natural forests should.

There are at least five different species of oaks that are native to my AO. I would gladly contribute to planting white oak, bur oak, black oak, chestnut oak and red oak, or even hickory trees. But that generally means I have to plant them myself. At least the squirrels like the acorns.

Nope. MrBeast is in North Carolina. And they planted those trees in a manicured field. Looked like a park.

Ya know Sunny,
I feel that anyone who truly believes everyone should give up fossil fuels should lead the charge by completely divesting their lives of fossil fuels and petrochemical products. If the Vast Majority of people are truly like minded, fossil fuel production would die on the vine for lack of interest with no laws required.

or in droughtprone desert fringes like chinas doing?
nice idea but…they need shelter water and tending for some yrs to make it
of course a desert dune moving over em sorta stuffs that up fast
elsewhere sounds ok but again
maintenance and the firehazard if planted in the wrong places
people replanted roadsides in Aus rural areas
should have been 15ft light canopys
they planted dense bushy types
so the roos cant be seen before they hop out to kill you or themselves

The climate change refugee test is to be able to find people fleeing an area in the absence of any war or political unrest. In the case of Syria, we have a mediterranian climate that is considerabley cooler and wetter than that of Saudia Arabia, where people are happily residing. It also shares borders with Lebanon and Turkey where no such people movement is taking place, completely ruling out any climate linkage.

Serge you comment makes several Good points –

to add a few –
A) The turks have hated the Kurds for centuries, long before man[n] – made climate change. but it is climate change that has caused the recent turkish foray into syria to kill the kurds.

B) Victor hanson has an excellant book on the Second World war with a full chapter devoted to the geo political cause of wars 1,000 or years. The variations of the same geo political issues have been the cause of every war and continue to exist in present times. Yet , the blame has been shifted to climate change.

It as if the climate scientists cherrypick their facts

You missed a pull factor. Welfare. YES, it’s accessible. Why else would the first thing that you do be to have a baby in an foreign land with no money?

I remember last year the migrants were leaving Central America because of drought according to the Guardian News. Quick check of the drought monitor showed that neither Nicaragua, Honduras, or Guatemala were in a state of drought and only like 30% of the area had “abnormal dryness” which is rated D0 on the drought severity scale that goes from D0 to D4. If a D0 event is the result of climate change then that’s really moving the goal posts.

If the Syrians were fleeing the area because of “The Drought”, then why weren’t those firing the bullets also fleeing the area because of “The Drought”?
