How to brainwash your children while passing your pathologies on to them.

Hmmm. There’s a Mashable article: How to talk to kids about climate change without scaring them

Dum, Dum, Dum

We avoided the topic, I think, because of her young age and the doomsday nature of being on the brink of a major extinction event. How do you tell a 4-year-old the plants, animals, and landscapes she adores are in grave peril?

It’s a step by step guide to teaching your climate fears and delusions to your kids.

Then we arrived at the episode about coral reefs dying off en masse because of climate change. My daughter had a lot of questions, and I teared up looking at footage of the desiccated reefs, thinking about what those images meant for her future. Suddenly I regretted letting Blue Planet II into our lives so easily.

The article continues on:

It turns out, of course, there are plenty of ways to talk about what’s happening to the Earth in an age-appropriate way that doesn’t needlessly frighten a child. The key is to ensure that you’ve laid a foundation for children to appreciate and be curious about the natural world, that you’re capable of discussing basic scientific concepts, and that conversations with children about climate change focus on critical thinking skills and solutions.

You don’t even have to understand the subject. We’ll dictate what you should say:

Cobos says parents don’t need to teach themselves everything about climate change in order to effectively communicate about it with their children. (The Climate Reality Project recently published an e-book on how families can start conversations about climate change.)

Take you through the stages:

By the time children reach the first or second grade, parents can try having more complex discussions about the causes of climate change and the effects of global warming, provided they use simplified or relatable language.

Until that proud day when the little larvae graduate into full blown Klimate Yuth:

Edmonds-Langham says elementary school-age children who participate in the museum’s classes and educational programming most often want to know how to help. By fourth grade, kids can understand why climate change threatens habitats and animals, and that human activity is to blame.

Lucius

You jest (perhaps) but that’s precisely what will happen.

A child born, say, 10 years ago might ask his father, when he’s 30 years old, “what was the climate like when you were a kid Dad?”

And the old man answers “strangely son, no different to what it is now”.

Son replies “How could you have been so gullible to tell me a whole lot of BS then you stupid old f@rt?”

Because of course, at 60 years old, we’re all stupid old f@rts.

But in the case of today’s climate alarmist young adults, that accusation will be entirely supportable.

Who was it that said ‘When I left for University, my parents were bumbling fools. It’s amazing how much they had learned by the time I returned home’? (Paraphrasing of course).

For the love of all that’s holy leave the kids out of it. F**************k! Supposing the kids were in real danger, for instance they and you were on a sinking ship, what would you tell them? You would tell them that it is going to be okay and that there are life boats or rescue ships or something and that you are going to take care of them and even as they are dying you would tell them something about heaven. Telling kids that climate change is going to destroy the world is so wrong. It’s so wrong. I can’t believe it. I wonder if the person who wrote the article even has kids.

A 4-year old daughter. That is what the story is about.

You are bound to get a story published if it ties a child and Climate Change with coral reefs. Any one of those three could make a suitable story but all three together makes it certain for publication.

And tell the kids if it was up to Old Grandpa Attenborough, he/she would have been aborted to save the Earth from children.

It’s criminal to scare children like that. The parents haven’t got a clue about CAGW but they feel a need to unnecessarily frighten their children for some reason. What possible good does it do to fill a four-year-old’s head with CAGW nightmares? CAGW nightmares that have no basis in fact, at that. Parents who do this have mental problems of their own, and the kids are suffering as a consequence.

The CAGW Lie creates many casualties.

Of course responsible, mature, intelligent parents would do some research first to validate the claims about dying coral reefs and species extinction made by people who are clearly not scientists. We are a gullible lot and it doesn’t hurt to approach extraordinary claims with extraordinary caution, especially about things that contradict what we see with our own eyes.

Try to imagine this from the kids standpoint. My daughter would have been part of the protest, as she is a natural activist.

What are you going to tell the kids? CAGW has made up in 1995? There is no solution to the fake problem CAGW?

We should have stopped the CAGW problem in 1995.

Phil Jones in climategate email:

the warming of the past century falls well within the natural variability of the climate

Makes sense. Temperature change Greenland Ice sheet last 15,000 years. Yup temperature goes up and down.

http://www.climate4you.com/images/GISP2%20TemperatureSince10700%20BP%20with%20CO2%20from%20EPICA%20DomeC.gif

In 1995 there was no evidence of an anthropogenic influence on global climate, as per the unaltered IPCC expert’s analysis of the temperature data at that time before Santer’s IPCC gate change.

https://wattsupwiththat.com/2012/02/03/monckton-responds-to-skeptical-science/

Reply: The scientists’ final draft of the 1995 Report said plainly, on five separate occasions, that no evidence of an anthropogenic influence on global climate was detectable, and that it was not known when such an influence would become evident.

However, a single scientist, Dr. Ben Santer of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, rewrote the draft at the IPCC’s request, deleting all five statements, replacing them with a single statement to the effect that a human influence on global climate was now discernible, and making some 200 consequential amendments.

These changes were considered by a political contact group, but they were not referred back to the vast majority of the authors whose texts Dr. Santer had tampered with, and whose five-times-stated principal conclusion he had single-handedly and unjustifiably negated.

We now have the evidence of Prof. “Phil” Jones of the University of East Anglia, in one of the recently-released Climategate emails, that the warming of the past century falls well within the natural variability of the climate – consistent with the conclusion that Dr. Santer had negated.

Are they living in tents on the streets of LA … making meals from dumpster diving the wasted throw-away food of grocery stores and restaurants? Yeah … didn’t think so. Driving their Tesla saloons to the local Farmer’s Market to purchase $4.00 ears of corn that are “locally sourced” is not doing a fecking thing to “save the planet”.

Rebelling kids like to consume things that are forbidden.

I suggest selling containers of CO2 to inhale, as a way to rebel against adult rules. Instead of crack or smack or cocaine, sell ’em CO2 to snort.

Then they could brag about who snorted the most concentrated dose: I did 1000ppm. …. You MF lightweight, I did 3500ppm!

Then ATF could start regulating CO2 like alcohol and cigs. Police could start to pursue CO2 pushers. There would be CO2 whores to compete with crack whores. It would be a whole new world of youthful rebellion.

Paper interesting, but naive and usual agenda. (“Global rates of urbanization are increasing. For example, urbanized landscapes are projected to triple in area by 2030, relative to 2000.”) First line of paper which has nothing to do with the subject. Nice picture in link though.

May 13, 2019 4:18 pm

This matter of how to explain things to children is not easy. As you all
know I myself am a atheist, so when I was from 1953 in the Police and had
to swear a oath in Court I had to say the usual one, “”, So help me God. “”

Back in those days to say I did not believe in a God would have meant that
my evidence would be challenged as not being true.

In due course we had two children, a boy, then 4 years later a girl.

So how to bring them up. My wife who is also a none believer, we
decided that we should send them to Sunday school, but then when they
asked questions, to be honest and answer them by saying that while we did
not believe in supernatural beings, many millions of people did so believe.

The same honesty should apply to all things, at the time that our daughter was about 12, and my wife was sick and back in Australia I had to explain all about sex to her. Not a easy task for a male but it went quite well.

With today’s teachers appearing to all believe in CC its important that when a child asks you questions saying that the teacher said this or that, again be honest, saying that while a lot of people think this way, I myself think otherwise and to then explain why you think like that.

Most children trust their parents and listen to what they say, but keep the
biases away, and yes we are all set in our ways, and try to stick to the
facts as you understand them.

Education should be more about teaching children how to think, not in what to think. Encourage them to do research about a subject.

In today’s world with the computer its easy from home to research and
yes there are a lot of untruths out there, but leave it to the children to sort out the truths from the blatant untruths.

And as I keep saying start with the basics regarding the matter of CC,
that is what are the properties of the molecule CO2. It really is the key
card in the whole rotten “House of cards”” .

Hey kids because old folks like me hated the idea of children so much we’ve engineered the system to shorten your lives. Yep you’ve only got 11 and a bit years to go and then you, like me and all the animals, will be dead! It’s too late to stop it so, get over it!

No honestly we haven’t, and you may currently believe that the climate is out to get you because of what people in past time have done but it ain’t so. You’ll all find out in 12 years or so, as the snow builds-up (or doesn’t).
The truth is that the climate is not ours to govern, it’s too chaotic, it has too many random elements to rationalize down to a simplistic computer model. If you think this isn’t true ask any climate modeler to predict the hottest day and then the wettest day, in your part of the world in exactly 5 years time. They don’t know, but they’ll probably have a guess.

Anyway, if you’re real ‘lucky’ you’ll get to experience a ‘Carrington event’. Now that is something worth tweeting about! 😉

Reported in Breitbart today – but curiously NOT appearing in UK MSM:

EU nations must “empower” children to participate in “decision-making and policy development” at national and European level, according to a declaration adopted by the bloc this week.

This policy comes suspiciously close to the Greta Thunberg saga, and the Extinction Rebellion demos in London, that it would seem to have been planned and coordinated. I suppose Liberals across the world realise how easy it is to brainwash children, and it looks to be a No. 1 priority in the coming years for the EU.

The CAGW Hoax narrative is a very: anti-humanity, anti-free will, anti-individual, anti-business, illogical, anti-science, anti-itellectual, and immoral creed.

It teaches children that humans are fatally-flawed ignorant parasites who are killing the planet, and the only way to “Save The World” is to surrender all our individual rights and property to the intelligentsia State, and to allow them to control every aspect of our lives as we’re too stupid, ignorant and greedy to control our own destiny…

Ironically, this depraved Leftist philosophy has been implemented in many countries with extremely tragic results: USSR, Maoist China, Cambodia, Vietnam, East Germany, Hitler’s Germany, Cuba, Venezuela, most African and ME states, most South and Central American states, etc…

The Left desperately tried to use the CAGW dogma as a Trojan horse to gain Statist control over pretty everything, and although they were initially quite successful, the plan ultimately failed because the absurd CAGW doom and gloom predictions became increasingly devoid from reality.

Ironically, the CAGW scam will ultimately lead the end of this dangerous and failed Leftist philosophy once individuals realize how close they came to losing their humanity based on this Leftist CAGW Hoax..
