In the first segment, the trio talk about Earth Day. They talk about an article from the Property & Environment Research Center titled “This Earth Day, Try Conservation Optimism.” The author makes the case that we are making great strides in fight of environmental conservation and that we should thank economic growth and freedom.
Additionally, on the topic of Earth Day, the three take a look at an article from the American Enterprise Institute titled “18 Spectacularly Wrong Predictions Made Around the Time of First Earth Day in 1970, Expect More This Year.” How do people take these alarmists seriously when their track record is so off?
In the next segment, they take on Bernie Sanders call for Disney’s CEO‘s salary being divided among the employees of Disney. In this scenario, Disney employees would get an additional $320 a month – before taxes. This highlights a concept discussed in a Reason Foundation article titled “The Socialist Fantasy.”
In the last segment, Donald welcomes to the show Christina Herrin, Campaign Manager for the Free to Choose Medicine project here at The Heartland Institute. Christina joins the show to talk about Free to Choose Medicine and how this concept could save many lives.

Bernie’s notion of Disney employees getting an additional $320 a month is laughable. With the exception of the theme parks many, many Disney employees make 6 figures, and beyond. If you are a member of one of the unions you start at about $24 an hour for a completely skill-less position, such as “studio page.” Journeymen employees in stage-craft make between 120-140K. Secretaries in the Burbank facility make about 70K a year, unless the work for the EVP’s where they can make twice that.
Who cares what the CEO makes when everyone is doing well?
Shareholders. A big salary is required to get good talent. CEO is only one person. Ten times a big salary is a fixed game. i.e. CEO becomes rich enough to buy company. Complicated problem.
Bernie will say anything to get elected. Destroying companies is not the secret to lower unemployment and higher wages (better jobs).
Odd Bernie and the fake news have not given Trump credit for addressing US trade deficits, lowest unemployment in 50 years, and so on.

U.S. employers added a better-than-expected 263,000 jobs in April, as the nearly decade-old economic expansion shows no signs of slowing. And the unemployment rate dropped to 3.6% — the lowest in nearly 50 years.
The trade deficits are cause by the budget deficit. Until the second is solved, the first can never be solved.
(There only appears to be a trade deficit because money spent to buy US treasuries and other forms of financial instruments are counted in the trade numbers.)

That’s three out of three of the climate “scientists” who really count — a 100% consensus — climate science can not be more settled than 100%.

I’m sure Jay Inslee (I know, WHO?) will make any climate claim you’d care to hear, just to get elected. But his biggest problem right now is getting to even 0.5% in the polls.

If I were running for “persident”, and could improve my polling numbers by 100%, from 0.5% to 1.0%, I’d say “There are 8 years left”.
Better yet: I’d say “7.8 years left to save the earth for the children”, stated with GREAT CONFIDENCE, with two small children standing next to me — I don’t have any children, so would have to rent them — and I’d even wear a suit and tie, which would also demonstrate my great intelligence … because among leftists, you can’t go wrong with any “worse than previously thought” climate doom prediction, very high confidence, and most important: More decimal places for your “years left for Earth” number.
As I learned while getting my BS (bulls__t) degree, and this may have changed since 1975, the main difference between a wild guess, and real science, is the number of decimal places.
Inslee seems to be running for Fearmonger-in-chief.

In any case, the FtC idea looks to me to have much merit. I would suggest that to keep the pharmaceutical companies honest(-ish), they should indemnify FtC patients against all adverse effects. In return, the patients would agree to provide ongoing feedback to the pharma. OK, it isn’t quite that simple, but neither is FtC itself.
