This is the main room for the ICCC 9 Conference. I’m told that over 500 possibly near six hundred people or more have registered and the conference starts tonight at 5 p.m. Pacific time. Details follow.

I will be speaking in two sessions on both Tuesday morning and Wednesday morning both of which will be carried live on this streaming video. I’ll be making updates and reports through the conference however regular story posting may be lighter than usual.
I’ll be blogging via phone ( like I have done with this post) with some updates perhaps in the evening.

Blindly following dodgy theories and computer models, while manipulating data are practices frowned upon by the white haired guys.
Hence alarmists loathe people with lots of experience and success in the real world – they are just too difficult to fool. On the other hand, gullible, impressionable youngsters are the alarmists’ bread and butter.

I am the (now separated from Northern States Power, MN – Corporate buy out…) Metallurgical Engineer who found the “missing” data, and got the “nil-ductility transition end of life” for the Monticello Nuclear Plant changed from 37 years to 87 years. (By submission of the data in an appropriate analysis package.) The plant has been given a considerable “life extension” as the result of this work. Presuming it makes it to the full life (80 years?) it will replace one, one hundred car coal train (80 tonnes per car) every 3 days for the extra 40 years or so of life. Considering that my personal energy usage for my life, would be as 3 or 4 of those car loads, I was “covered” for my carbon sins the first day of life extension (about 10 years ago). Now, by the power invested in me, by myself and “The Doctor” (Who?) I hereby grant complete carbon abolition and forgiveness for everyone at the ICCC conference (but you may have to ask the High Priests Anthony and the Good Lord, before the “official” abolition is given). Drinks at 10 Oclock!

My grant money, didn’t come through, and somebody has to pick up the tab for California’s high speed railway, from nowhere, to nowhere else. I hope they understand, that if they make the railway tracks dead straight; in three dimensions, they can dispense with the engine, and get from end to end in just 42 minutes. (no brakes needed either.)
Just wonderful. You guys will be done Wednesday, and I pull into Vegas on Thursday. Would have loved a chance to meet some of these folks.
I hope it will be well publicised. Lots of informative press releases, with the essential messages in plain simple language. Reassure the general public that there is no scientific basis to the alarmist claims being sold to them.

I am wondering if you guys will soon be posting an article about the NOAA release of temp data from USCRN. The blog article on American Thinker by Rick Moran states that the data shows a DROP of 0.4 degrees Celsius for the past decade.
This is BIG news since the data is not adjusted or tampered with in any way. This data could be the stake in the heart of the vampire AGW crowd.
I look forward to an article in the very near future.

I’m 53 and I haven’t got white hair, it is actually brown in colour, though I do admit to dying the roots grey. 🙂 Perhaps I really should be an alarmist, as they like to cover up the truth too!
