‘The Boy Who Cried Warming’
The title suggest a certain Mann is going to be throwing a temper-tantrum on Twitter.
Is it just me, or does sound lead vision by a few frames on this video?
I’m not sure I can watch this all the way through. I really wanted to like it, but it’s extremely weak on facts, and all about insinuations. Why do this? Why try to out-Gore Gore? Why not just make a very strong, scientific investigation of the facts, not even trying to present it as a political struggle? It isn’t, really. This is so political, even I have to dismiss it. I could understand this approach if the facts weren’t on our side of the debate, but since they are, it actually undermines our case.
“We need a reason to justify voluntary submission” is the way a global schemer several decades ago put it when freezing was the reason only transglobal control of the economy would stop it.
Still is the reason for CAGW and the ed “reforms.” Just has to bet more widely disseminated.
There’s a typo in the on screen site name. I believe it is cried, not creid.
Worst factual error: labeling a graph of 20th century warming as “The Hockey Stick”. I mean, my God, when you are trying to demonstrate grievous errors by others, try not to commit the grievous error of misidentifying the object of your critcism.

It is a week before the AGU Anthropocene Love-In The Mann-Thing Fest begins.
I expect to see One Thousand surplus CRTs dangling from the rafters at Moscone Center.

and dismissing you as a fraud by 6 seconds and walking away at 7 seconds.

The ‘operation’ was to destroy all files and associated computer hard drives holding directives and e-mail exchanges regarding Michael E. Mann, IPCC, Climate Change, and Al Gore.
The operation was unsuccessful.
Hard drives were not destroyed.
Digital information files were not deleted.
Looks like the Obama Administration is plagiarizing Richard M. Nixon’s play book, but the operatives and President being Nigerian Nationals do not possess the knowledge of English needed to complete the sabotage.

Pretty much gets the point and the facts across.
No matter how one paints a picture, the root subject matter is the same in the end.
knowing how google is deeply involved in the CAGW scam, one has to wonder if they invented this(and other??) islands, so that they could claim one day that CAGW disappeared them!!!
24 Nov: Huffington Post: Sandy Island Doesn’t Exist: Google Maps Showed Isle In South Pacific
A sizable, uninhabited island shown in the South Pacific on Google Maps and other charts does not exist, according to Australian scientists.
Scientists noticed an isle called Sandy Island by Google and Sable Island by others, but it didn’t appear on the navigational map aboard their ship, CNN reported. So they decided to steer towards it.
Even though it occupied about 60 square miles on maps, the team from the University of Sydney found only the deep blue of the Coral Sea when they arrived at the coordinates of the phantom island this month…
“It’s on Google Earth and other maps so we went to check and there was no island. We’re really puzzled. It’s quite bizarre,” said lead researcher Maria Seton, a geologist. “How did it find its way onto the maps? We just don’t know, but we plan to follow up and find out.”
Using Google’s satellite view of the fictitious flyspeck, Sandy Island shows up as a dark mass. As of Saturday morning, it was still visible on Google Maps…
The researchers said they don’t know how the island first showed up on maps, but the Sydney Morning Herald found references to it going back to at least 2000.
The academics were studying plate tectonics, the Guardian reported.

REPLY: I’ve simply disabled comments, since I don’t need more comment moderation work. Further, based on what I’ve seen, the quality of commentary on YouTube seems to be meritless anyway. If people have something to say, they know where to find the WUWT blog.
Very nicely made. The politics are important. As the film rightly observes, the IPCC was a political tool from the start. It needs to be said.

Just skimmed thru it, will watch it all later. Superb production quality, well presented arguments. One of the scientists looks like Robert de Niro WUWT?
Minor point – although the link URL address spelling is correct – there is a SPELLING ERROR in the link’s visible to eyeball DISPLAYED URL address – what I see is “theboywhoCREIDwarming.com” (wrong spelling) instead of “theboywhoCRIEDwarming.com” (correct spelling). Drilling into the actual URL address shows the correct “cried” spelling rather than incorrect “creid” spelling.
Just watched and enjoyed “theboywhocriedwarming”.
One particular mistake with confusion between the actual temperature record and the hockey stick. Later contriburtions prsented the reality but it would have helped if the Mann et al graph was produced.
Also, I found the video excessively long – who is going to sit down and watch it for one and a half hours unless they already believe its message? Perhaps it can best be used in sound bites.
BUT. It is a line in the sand. The arguments have been made with clarity. Well done!
I was uncomfortable with the political tone, I am afraid I got bored and skipped much of the the lengthy section on cap-and-trade, Cap and trade is a con, and is quickly seen as such and will collapse on its own as it has in Europe. A short recession and nobody wants to buy. credits. Nobody buys credits and the traders pack up and leave. No traders and the system collapses.
This is economics 101. Google “inelastic supply” and its effect on pricing.
To me the most important and central message was the first third of the film which discussed that “Global Warming” is an unproven hypothesis. Unless you can have a falsifiable hypothesis it can never develop into a theory. Arguing that CO2 is causing more snow, less snow, more hurricanes, fewer hurricanes, droughts and floods all at the same time cannot be proved as these events and variations in them have always happened.
I will remain sceptical until they finally come up with a statement in the format::
“If the excess of CO2 in the atmosphere caused by man’s activities is causing global warming then the following effect will be seen [state effect here], but if this effect does not occur then the hypothesis that mans contribution to elevated CO2 levels is causing global warming is disproven.”
I understand the developing this hypothesis is a real challenge, but it needs to be done if scientists want to regain the trust of the ordinary man again.
