It all goes to show that crooks in the world of science are not confined to climate science. At least, from what I have read, nothing this crooked resveratrol scientist did invalidates the notion that red wine is good for you — any more so than the actions of the crooked climate scientists invalidates the inescapable fact that the climate is always changing.

Whilst helping Donna Laframboise with her IPCC Citizens Audit, I decided to check the IPCC AR4 for anything that might BENEFIT from a warming world.
The only thing I could find was WINE. Higher alcohol content and higher quality in most regions studied.
Here is an excerpt from AR4 WG2 Chp1 Box 1.2 page 105
I wonder how that snuck into the AR4?

In the very target rich environment for possible investigations of scientific malfeasance, what is most amusing and/or angering is that this is the cluck they chose to invest such a massive amount of time, effort and money investigating. In the last couple of years, just the small fraction of the ongoing deluge of PR science that Anthony has found time to blog about includes almost weekly examples of works that are much more egregious and in need of scrutiny than this fellows efforts which, while admittedly huge, apparently did little to distort other findings in his field.
