A new post containing a cartoon from Josh will appear every hour. At the end of the 24 hours, everything will be collated on a single page. Readers are encouraged to post skeptical arguments below, as well as offer comments on what has been seen from the Climate Reality Project so far.

Sea level! Yes that’s it. Sea level rise is a primary indicator of global warming! Let’s have a look.
Here’s the graph from NASA, and their press release calling it a “speed bump”:
Part of the reason is that Global Ocean Heat Content Is Still Flat, and thus the oceans aren’t seeing any thermal expansion leading to sea level rise.
And that creates another problem – the climate models don’t work right then:
Oh and if you really want to get freaked out…look at this picture:
Then read this:
Freaking out about NYC sea level rise is easy to do when you don’t pay attention to history
==================
Josh put a lot of work into these, so if you like the work, drop by the tip jar. Unlike Gore’s CRP, he won’t spam you asking for more. Buy him a beer, he’s worked a long time bringing us enjoyment with only some “attaboys” sent his way.
Oh wow. My skin is crawling after 5 minutes just watching the social chatter going on ustream. Lemmings I tell ya. LEMMINGS!
more ad homs… I’m sure you can keep this up but, really, is this the level you want to keep the conversation?
(Hint: what altitude is Gore’s house at?)
It’s obvious everything in the twitter feed is bogus CRP bots. If they were real people, then the guy who said, “I love oil and coal!” would’ve been smashed. Not one comment against him, just the same repetitive rubbish over and over.
I can’t watch the video from my computer. Anybody got a link that works?
This is getting a little repetitive. Did they seriously fly people all over the world to read the same script over and over?
Then again they’re not even pronouncing Kotzebue right. Makes me wonder if they went there at all.
BTW thanks for the cartoons, Josh!

Two questions:
1) How can someone keep up with the tweets?
2) Why would someone want to?
Perhaps because the presentations are repeating.
I used u stream, but had to lower the quality to quit the buffering..I’ve posted via twitter several times and have not had any body jump me yet. things must be moving too fast
To hell with actual sea level measurements. It’s still getting more than hip-deep around Algore.
Only it’s not sea water….
ROTF! Awesome toons, Josh!
The lameness of this thing, it burns. Even the commenters at the CRP site are starting to notice. This is Gore’s Waterloo.
Just heard the MC gal tell the fellow in Alaska “Stay warm up there in Alaska”.
I thought they wanted it to stay cold up there. Confusing folks.
Al’s claiming 1 million viewers on his Twitter feed now.
Sounds like it’s turned into a Bore-a-thon … by the crack of dawn here in the east, they’ll be looking at each other wondering what they got themselves into, when they’ll still have another twelve hours to kill.
A really low budget operation.
It’s over.
On to the moon!
Has anyone found anything of scientific value yet?
Gore clutches at straws as he sinks for the the 3rd & final time. This is like a repeat of Copenhagen & Cancun, a big hullabaloo that reverberates with a hollow sound & nothing to show afterwards. Only the truly faithful still cling to the reverend Jones (opps, I mean Gore) as he sermons from the mount one last time, whilst all around him his followers drift off to look for something or someone else to believe in.
The whole sorry episode reeks of desperation from a dishonest & desperate man determined not to lose again. Deep down he knows he will will anyway, but he’s too blinded by his own gospel to see the light.
Gore said something like “It’s important to change the lightbulbs and windows. However, it’s more important to change the law so that the bad products are unavailable.”
Always knew Al to understand liberty and that his job was to keep it at bay.
I will be busy installing and trying out Windows 8 developer preview for the next many hours.
You can download and install it yourself as well. Warning: its pre-beta, not ready for everyday use.

I hear something on the news saying that a San Fransisco University study said that sea level rise will be 54″ by 2100 and will destroy California’s economy. Wait, that would be 0.61″ or 15.4mm per year for the next 89 years!!!
Here’s the story, read it and laugh at the numbers…
The story:
…
The results suggest that visitor hotspots like Venice Beach could lose up to $440 million in tourism revenue between now and 2100 if sea levels rise by 4.6 feet (1.4 meters), a projection specific to the California coast, based on recent scientific studies. At San Francisco’s Ocean Beach, accelerated erosion could cause up to $540 million worth of damage.
“Sea level rise will send reverberations throughout local and state economies,” said Philip King, associate professor of economics at San Francisco State University. “We also found that the economic risks and responses to a changing coastline will vary greatly over time and from beach to beach.”
The findings suggest that the cost and type of damage will vary depending on a community’s economy, geography and local decisions about land use. For example, if sea level rises by 4.6 feet, Malibu beaches could lose almost $500 million in accumulated tourism revenue between now and 2100. Revenue losses would be much smaller at San Francisco’s windswept Ocean Beach ($82 million), which attracts fewer visitors per year.

The greatest mystery , for me, Is how Mr Gore can get his lips to always look like he’s attacking sucker fish in an amorous way. WUWT?

Does it work in a Virtualbox VM? Yes, I know it’s off topic for normal WUWT discussion but reality works different today.
Darn you WUWT! I wasn’t going to pay attention to this but I couldn’t help myself (I just had to see Josh’s cartoons and then my curiosity got me!)
Same old tired myths that defy simple observation. Same old speculative fear mongering. They presented no facts, no data, no proofs for their outrageous claims.
And now to defuse my anger, I must watch Fururama while enjoying a Lucky Lager.

Does it work in a Virtualbox VM
====================
I am hearing that it works with the latest version of VirtualBox. It will also work with Microsofts Hyper-V.
I am about to install on my main machine any moment now.
Elmer, thank you, thank you, thank you, I hadn’t heard Minnesotans for Climate Change(m4gw) before but shall be spreading the songs from now on.
“Speed bump” must mean “on hiatus on account of cold ocean.
“Earlier this year, scientists at Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego found that while sea levels rose around the globe, they were on hiatus on the U.S. West Coast for the last three decades because of a pattern of cold surface waters.”
“But that trend may be reversing, the study found, and an era of accelerated sea-level rise could begin this decade.”

“Imagine Winston, a giant fingernail going across a blackboard for all of eternity…..”
This reversal in sea level rise to a fall over the past year indicates that for the first time in quite some time, the rate of ice accumulation on land(glaciers, etc.) is exceeding the melt-be interesting to see if this continues.
My computer models suggest the oceans will be entirely gone by 2100.
