Anthony, you did a fine job of conveying the important information in that quick interview. Beck obviously is going to hype this for his audience, but it can’t be said that you stated any more than the facts. You walk a delicate line between the two sides involved in the political battle.

Anthony, IIRC you said you weren’t able to make your main point because you were cut off. What got through seems pretty good. What was cut out?
REPLY: This was the radio interview, the TV interview for his CNN show is what got chopped.
“Inconvenient Thermometers”. LOL. I love how that word, “inconvenient” or even “convenient” is coming back to bite them you-know-where.
Good interview, too bad it was cut short. Got the basic message out anyway.
Nice job, Anthony. It’s obvious that you have a real story to tell, and were just getting into the meat of it.
Don’t mean to be rude, but in the next 30 seconds, could you explain why in the heck scientists even refer to temperature records gathered in this manner??

Anthony, earlier someone metioned that sattelites agree “everywhere” other than the tropics, so the US adjustments must be OK, but I think this is incorrect. The lower 48 is split out separately in RSS and UAH so I sometimes post on my blog about trends in the US based on Sattelites, and I’m almost sure that the sattelites and surface disagree. I will probably come back with graphs…

I was surprised that there were not more news headlines about this conference on FOX News. Here in Germany I don’t get FOX, and so I have to look at their website. I really did not see much there.
Still, I think the whole conference was loud and visble enough not to miss ( unless you have your head stuck into the sand).
I think this conference ought to be repeated every 2 years. What about Berlin in 2010?
