The TSI varies between 341.3 and 341.5 W/m2, which is received at the Top of Atmosphere. We talk about a variation of 0.2 W/m2…of which 30% reemmission (albedo) back into space has to be subtracted. The effective radiation variation on Earth is not more than 0.10-0.15 W/m2 ……therefore, next to negligable.
Diffenences in the Earth orbit around the Sun are omttted in the TSI, which relate the
Suns output to a fixed astronomical distance of 150 Mio km to Earth, which is a artifical construct, therefore unsuitable to evaluate climate drivers. JS.
