Drat! I looked for the linkage to the flushed pharmaceuticals canard confusing organic/biochemistry with inorganic water chemistry simple dilution.
It become clear some time back that psychopaths have emerged to take control of climate science. Al Gore is the quintessential psychopath. Michael Mann has most of the traits.
Ironically, in a field led by psychopaths, this piece of work, is intended to destroy the enemy using a psychological profile of them.
To me, it just looks like we have another white collar psychopath showing their true colors.

Interest in corporate psychopaths has risen significantly in the last decade, largely due to the publicity of corporate frauds and scandals like Enron in 2001 and Madoff in 2009. Oddly, given the number of political scandals and their striking similarities to their corporate cousins, the idea that psychopaths infiltrate governments – with disastrous results – has yet to receive the attention it deserves. In fact, the political massacres that are occurring today – the dark aspects of human history that both fascinate and repel us – and the corruption that inevitably leads to them, have their roots in the presence of psychopaths in positions of power and influence.
Psychopaths can be found in prison for all sorts of violent and predatory crimes against individuals, including white-collar crime. University programs, academic societies, conferences, professional textbooks and manuals, all exist to get a handle on the problem and aid in prevention of these sorts of crimes. But what about their role in crimes against humanity? I haven’t been able to find one academic paper examining the role of psychopathy in politics, whether in so-called democratic systems or overt dictatorships. Just as researchers at first doubted the ability of psychopaths to succeed in business, and the problem remained unexamined, the problem of psychopathy in politics remains steadfastly ignored. Political scientists refuse to look at psychopathy, and psychopathy experts refuse to look at politics. The results of such blindness are evident in history – and the present – for anyone to see. Genocides, dictatorships, state-sanctioned torture, “war without end”, political assassinations, death squads, corruption, blackmail, spying on civilians, “state secrets”, illegal “espionage”, and on and on.
The situation is odd, considering the fact that experts have made it increasingly clear that psychopaths can occupy prominent positions in all professions: law, business, medicine, psychology, academia, military, entertainment, law enforcement, even – and perhaps especially – politics. As Babiak and Hare explain it, “Many [psychopaths] do manage to graduate from college or obtain professional credentials, but in most cases it is less through hard work and dedication than through cheating, getting others to do their work, and generally ‘working the system.'”10
It is said that most cliches have at their core true stories. Lewandowski displays this for the one about what not to do when you find yourself in a hole of your own making.

I have been studying another cause of Global Warming and the “Pause” and I have come to the conclusion it is US! And our overheated housing market that is now on pause. Clear correlation.

Farmers in the US Cornbelt, the most fertile, high yielding crop land on the planet probably will not be complaining if the upcoming El Nino kicks in soon.
La Nina’s increase odds of a drought in this part of the world. Drought can still happen during an El Nino of course but odds drop when sea surface waters are warmer in the equatorial Pacific vs cooler(as they were early in 2012 and the prior 2 years).
Folks in California, hit by drought recently, would also appreciate some El Nino driven rains.
Not block buster, extreme storms but that can happen with super charged El Nino’s.
If it does happen, of course the global warming/climate change that caused the drought, we all know will also be responsible for the torrential rains in California.
Wouldn’t it be great if Southern California just got around an inch of rain, at least every other week like it always did in the past:

…………………errrr, wait a second, that’s not how rain falls out there. They go many months with nothing and droughts are common, then get bombed with way too much, way too fast for brief periods.

Though they concede it’s unlikely the public was endangered, officials in Portland, Ore., have decided to drain 38 million gallons of water from a reservoir after a young man was observed urinating into it on Wednesday….
According to The Oregonian, “Portland City Commissioner Nick Fish says flushing 38 million gallons of water after a man urinated in the Mt. Tabor Reservoir system is the correct call, even if it prompts complaints that the city is overreacting or wasting water.”
“I didn’t have a choice,” Fish said, according to the newspaper. “I don’t have the luxury of slicing it too thin when there’s a potential risk, however small, to public health. Frankly, it’s one of those calls where you know you’re likely to be criticized no matter what. The professionals who report to me all said, ‘Dump the water. Don’t take any chances.’ It’s the conservative but correct call.”…

The story says “After Portland Water Bureau officials saw what happened, they decided the water in the kidney-shaped reservoir needs to go.”
Well gee. It’s a kidney. Just what I’d expect!
The book “Mind Games” by Philip Day has an interesting chapter on psychopaths in political positions.

George Brandis has compared himself to Voltaire and derided proponents of climate change action as “believers” who do not listen to opposing views and have reduced debate to a mediaeval and ignorant level.
In an interview with online magazine Spiked, the Attorney-General also declares he has no regret for saying Australians have the right to be bigots and accuses the left of advocating censorship to enforce a morality code on the nation.
It comes as former Australian of the year Professor Fiona Stanley said climate science had been denigrated through politicisation and denial, and issued a stinging attack on the federal government for the absence of a specific department to tackle global warming.
Senator Brandis, who is driving reforms to Australia’s racial discrimination act, describes the climate change debate as one of the “catalysing moments” in his views on freedom of speech.
While he says he believes in man-made climate change, the Queensland senator tells the magazine he is shocked by the “authoritarianism” with which some proponents of climate change exclude alternative viewpoints, singling out Labor’s Penny Wong as “Australia’s high priestess of political correctness”.
He said it was “deplorable” that “one side [has] the orthodoxy on its side and delegitimises the views of those who disagree, rather than engaging with them intellectually and showing them why they are wrong”.
As examples, he points to Senator Wong and former Prime Minister Julia Gillard, who he accuses of arguing “the science is settled” to shut down political debate on climate change.
“In other words, ‘I am not even going to engage in a debate with you.’ It was ignorant, it was mediaeval, the approach of these true believers in climate change,” he said.
Senator Brandis also defended comments he made in the Senate, where he argued for the right of Australians to be bigots as justification for changes to section 18C and 18D of the racial discrimination act.
“I don’t regret saying that because in this debate, sooner or later – and better sooner than later – somebody had to make the Voltaire point; somebody had to make the point [about] defending the right to free speech of people with whom you profoundly disagree.”
Senator Brandis said there had been a shift in Australian politics, claiming it was now the “Tory point of view”, rather than the left, that fell on the side of liberation and free speech.
“Now, the left has adopted a reasonably comprehensive secular morality of its own, which it now seeks to impose upon society,” he said.
“And it’s prepared to impose that secular morality on society at the cost of the freedom of speech which it once espoused.”
Senator Brandis declined to comment when asked about the interview.

What you bring up is very true. My brother with an IQ over 200 is a sociopath and now a multimillionaire. Believe me the guy is very dangerous as I can personally attest to. So sociopaths can be very successful. He made it into his seventies and never got arrested once for all the illegal stunts he pulled.

What in heck do they think fish and beaver and other critters do in and near surface water?
Heck beaver carry giardia which is NOT taken out by water treatment and there are several beaver dams just up stream of where a nearby city takes their water. (There are also cases of giardiasis which the doctors pretend do not exist. – long story about a friend’s son and a go round with doctors and health officials. She finally had a vet do the test for giardiasis on a sample of “dog feces”.)
